Glad to see it worked out in the end. My only experience with PXN is their all-buttons arcade controller, which is really good. I've also heard that their arcade joystick is decent. Thanks for the review!

We've reviewed a few of their controllers (wheel and keyboard arcade controller). They're definitely a higher quality than what we usually get from China, I just wish they'd have a more recent firmware when it came to my door. There's a possibility what came to my door was of older stock though.

Good to see that the issues are resolved with a simple firmware update. If you are going to do a giveaway, make it open to all and not conditionally reliant upon having to be a member of a service.

I totally agree, but it is PXN who are sending both controllers out world-wide, and they'd only do it under the condition that Instagram was used. It's a shame, because I think it really cuts down the potential reach of the giveaway. Wish they'd see it that way 😊

Yes. The firmware update fixes many of the issues at stock. They probably sell them updated now though, but it's always a good idea to check with game controllers. 8bitdo update very frequently, for example.

Where did you Play you PC Games? I Managed to get some Steam games to work wirelessly, Not NOTHING on PC Game Pass would work without plugging the controller in.

I played them on a pc 😂 What is PC Game pass ? - in the review we had issues with connecting before updating the firmware. Maybe this is your issue ?

@@TeamPandory got you you are trying to be funny to cover up that you did not properly test the controller or do not know much about PC gaming. Game pass in the games launcher built into Windows. I tested it with multiple launchers; Game pass, Steam, epic, GOG and Amazon. The only launcher it works with is Steam. But since steam has built in emulators to take inputs from Nintendo, Sony, Xbox and pretty much any controllers. Any input based launchers are not working unless it is plugged into the laptop. Basically, PXN noticed that Steam works with Nintendo controllers and slapped PC compatible on the box and website. Most KZbinrs that reviewed this controller are switch gamers and are not testing this controller against all the PXN claims.

@@j.r.latner8425 You are correct regarding this issue, but this is a decision on the part of the launcher to not have as much compatibility as Steam. A workaround is to run the Epic / XBOX / your choice of launcher through Steam as a non-Steam app, or to use an emulator such as xbox360ce.

The similarities are uncanny. Noticed this a while back when PXN first started putting these out. Sort of wonder if it's PXN copying or if they were the OEM or ODM for Google when they made their controller and now that Stadia is gone they're free to release it under their own name with slight alterations. 🤷‍♂️

I just found the PXN controller and immediately got my Stadia controller to visually compare. I then looked at the internals with FCC documentation (Stadia is A4RH2B and PXN is 2AFGFPXN-P50) and I don't see any similarities between them inside. I don't think that PXN was the OEM for Stadia since these two controllers share very little. However, I do think PXN built their case around some elements of the Stadia design. Check out the FCC docs for yourself, it's fun and public information.

I've installed the new firmware and it still does not work as it should. HAve re-adjusted the setting in the app via mobile phone also. Still does not work. And it does not matter whether it is connected via cable or bluetooth playing 2k23 golf. The analogue stick is not responsive enough to swing the golf club fast enough. It's sluggish and does not work. I have a pxn steering wheel and pedals for racing sims. That I never had trouble with. This contoller, however, I regret buying. It's been nothing but trouble since day 1

Thanks for you reply. I'm playing 2k23 golf on steam/PC. The left thumb analogue stick is not reactive/fast enough to get the swing speed right on the downswing. Two cheap controllers I have are easily fast enough (although they have unrelated issues). Also, when using the P50 wirelessly i can't get the visual interactive data to show up in bluetooth controller properties within windows. I thought with the firmware update that would change. But no. The controller cannot be used sucessfully for the 2k23 golf game. I've tried changing the settings in the pxn app, I've completed the firmware update. But the left analogue stick does not have a fast enough response. Also, the right analogue was drifting at some points. Which really takes the cake. @@TeamPandory
