I'm currently studying for a high school entrance exam and as I took a lot of important math subjects I need for it a couple years to a year back, I have found that I've forgotten a lot of it. my exam is in a month, but I'm learning most of the important concepts I need from pre-alg and alg 1 concepts from your videos. tysm! i love watching these and I love the simple, clear way you explain things :)

In Problem 2, I noticed that the one of the lengths equals 12 and the hypotenuse equals 15, I know the triangle in this problem is similar to the triangle with the Pythagorean triple of 3-4-5. I also used one of the formulas you provided to get b = 9 also.

I got a little confused and question 10 Pythagorean theorem question 10 I got a positive 16 + 32x - 9x to the 2nd power. 10 ^ 2 - 50x + 65 cancel on the left and I came up with 0 equal 16 + 32x - 9x to the second power. I did the equation from left to right.

Sorry you had that experience. I would suggest starting over and following each step as I do it in the video. Perhaps there was a missed or misunderstood step?
