Junior season highlights of Langston Hughes' (Fairburn, GA) 4-star QB Prentiss "Air" Noland. He led the Panthers to a 15-0 record, 6A state title and a spot at No. 15 in final MaxPreps Top 25. He threw for 4,095 yards and had 55 touchdown passes compared to four interceptions while completing 73.1 percent of his passes.

What an absolute baller. Knows where his ball is going. That’s one of my favorite things to see about a good qb. Knowing their personal touch on a ball, where it’s going to land right in the pocket, that’s huge. Sounds so silly to say, but a lot of folks just take a chance and hope it gets there before the safety, but when you have a guy with an arm like this, who clearly knows coverages, annddddd can flat out ball, that equals wins. Buddy is like the left handed Dan Marino. Beautiful ball and great placement, all from a natural feel for the game.

Not even a mobile QB but a QB who is actually able to run and willing to run. CJ had the arm talent and escapability to extend plays outside of the pocket, McCord is the most non mobile QB I've seen play at Ohio State. He almost never escaped the pocket and hardly ever ran when the pocket collapsed. This kid at least has the ability to escape the pocket

@@rgman2858 The thing with Stroud is it took him all the way until the Georgia game to realize he could run the ball and help his team out in more ways than 1, dude had one of his best games and that was half of the reason was because he finally ran the ball himself.

@ayeejaayy5848 I agree with that. I think it was partly Ryan Day in his ear and partly him wanting to make more on the play. He ran against Northwestern when they really needed him to, ran a few times against UM and the Georgia game.

And Stroud not being more mobile hurts you in the West Coast offense. You have to have a guy who can roll out and throw under pressure in any offense, it especially in a West Coast offense when short routes are covered early.
