THE QSC GX5 & the THOMANN PYRIT 212 SUB

the gx5 rated at 500 @ 8ohm & 700 @ 4 ohm,,,under powering the pyrit sub rated @ 1000 watts 4 ohm box and sounding real good..keep your signals and levels in check &,,imo,,under powering can be done good & cause no damage to amps or speakers..

Christian,,yes,,i would recommend the PYRIT 212 subs..active or passive,,great subs..the power ratings are correct..2 500 rms 12" drivers in the box..it does play loud enough without distorting and losing clarity..plays down to 45hz easily..well worth the money..bless
