@@monsterram6617 On3 is 45min from us in Sunbury OH, where there turbo's are manufactured exactly, i don't know, but considering this turbo's brother from Garrett is around $4500 I'm guessing its not manufactured in OH.

ok its been a while i think its time to do a good review on the on3 turbo ive seen you guys install them on a few other trucks since this one im really considering one for my compound setup and would love to hear the opinions. the on3 guys have been great to deal with and love that they are local. picked up my intercooler from them and got a great price as well.

Levon you are a true credit to the industry I think people like Cummins should be having you help set there you’re their engines up I bet you could make their engines run better and run cleaner then what they do right now why the first thing I would do is illuminate that EGR if nothing else I can I can’t see how it would hurt anything I have an old 91.5 Dodge and I’ll give you three guesses what’s under the hood and I’m gonna be doing some things to it here real soon hungry diesel fuel pen 3800 RPM the governor spring job MNH timing device dynamic timing device I already got a Hamilton cam stage to head on there and heavy duty pushrods so you 500,000 mile engine she still taking along pretty good I’ll be I can go up there in 10° weather and hit the key you know the heat grid and it starts up after birth to three revolutions I am your pops right off so we know the engines in pretty good shape anyways a man I’ll tell you want another area I think you are to consider is these guys with these newer trucks are having so much problems with her computer hardware and see about getting with saw another company to build better quality units and they can do it it can be done

Does a shorter injection time and more advance also allow you to rev higher? What is needed to run 7000 rpm for example and what are the cons to do so?
@FirepunkDiesel4 жыл бұрын
The short answer is Yes! the faster the fuel can be delivered the higher rpm capability becomes, so far we haven't been able to get peak power much passed 5000rpm though because the dwell time of air being introduced to the fuel plumes is much shorter. The S10 can run all the way to 7500rpm if we wanted too, but we would be way down from peak power by then.
@what94184 жыл бұрын
@@FirepunkDiesel thanks for your answer! So too little dwell time means there is not enough time to mix air and fuel?
