Andrew Aurigema has discussed his stacked asymmetric capacitor material in recent presentations on the APEC channel (Alt Propulsion Engineering Conference) which generates thrust through electro static pressure and quantum effects, and has just reported in their last APEC Open Mic session an increase to 62.5% efficiency / thrust-to-weight ratio. This means it can lift 62.5% of its own weight under Earth gravity, and is more than twice the efficiency they had just a few months ago, making it look like very promising technology.

This is total rubbish, flat out idiotic, and all those in the comment section praising this, show just how little they know. He said he was going to explain how it worked, but actually didn't, all we got was lots of talk and double talk, pretty graphics and NOT a single image of anything real regarding the device or how it could ever use such energy for creating thrust. He also completely gets quantum entanglement wrong, there is NO instantaneous communication between particles over any distances, and it most certainly cannot be used for any form of communication, that is well known. The microscopic pin point "device" shown at 20:39 is nothing more than a thermocouple. Frankly, you could easily generate more energy from a simple dipole antenna, using either the Earth's geomagnetic field or the constant radio waves permeating free space around us. Nano amps and micro volts not too inspiring is it...

I thought entanglement doesn’t communicate information. For that to happen, to say compare the spin states of two particles at an arbitrary separation distance, a link, with a maximum speed that of light, needs to be established, hence no instantaneous information communication.
@stringstroker229 ай бұрын
This is what Einstein called 'spooky action at a distance.' First off, it's a quantum system, where very weird stuff happens at very small scales. Second, as it has been postulated, when 2 particles are entangled, they should be treated as one system. In terms of information, yes it can be observed to have information conveyed instantaneously, where not a moment of time passes in the classic world. The postulate goes on to say that the information (angular momentum or spin) is stored in the correlation of the 2 particles, not the particles themselves. It's as if the correlation of these 2 particles in question, have a memory that is potentially endless. Some of the finest minds at universities, colleges, Fermilab and the HLC are working on this right now...the understanding of quantum mechanical theory. Personally, I believe that this theory has to go further than the classical macro universe we live in and incorporate extra dimensions. I mean, consider the potential of the Zero Point field, where subatomic virtual particles wink in and out of existence. If particle physicists, electrical and mechanical engineers ever figure out how to convert this quantum foam into usable energy, along with superconducting circuitry, then there's your power source for interstellar craft, traveling at multiples of FTL, as stated in this video. However one of the big, perhaps biggest problem is how to overcome the Higgs field and Higgs boson. I'm not sure of the math but there has to be some demonstrable way to reduce said craft to zero mass.

So the project is to extract stuff, from a quantum scale, which is then ???? And then that is used to provide thrust. As much as i could understand, sorry 😊. But anyway. The challenge is then using that to surpass the speed of light. In my view, well, the motion provided to the ship, can only be as great as the sum of each provider of motion. In other words, the total energy the ship has - to use for thrust - can only be the total amount of energy each provider of energy is providing it. Obviously i suppose. But the total energy provided, from the quantum scale stuff, seems to max out at the speed of light. So the ways forward, in my view, are two. 1. Perhaps you just need two quantum ramjets working in unison, for the ship. So long as the whole ship can be moved by the resultant energy - which is two lots of the speed of light -; then the ship will go faster than the speed of light. Provided both ramjets are embedded within the infrastructure of the ship so much so, that you could say all three (ramjet 1, ramjet 2, the rest of the ship) are one whole thing. 2. Find elsewhat means to traversing. I dont mean other means to provide thrust. But thrust as a means of travel (part of the means). So non-propulsive means. Like warp drive. Warping isnt propulsion in my view. But to still use the small scale stuff - hmm? Could you extract it, and then use the energy - which is still a lot (speed of light) - to power a warp drive? So a quantum ramjet powered warp drive. Its a nice synthesis of the ideas too.

I actually spent several years looking into the UFO phenomenon as well, The boomerang and triangle shaped ones are ours I strongly believe and I think they work off of technology similar to what you describe. A guy named Dr Steven Greer talks a lot about this, He's not that accurate with the science stuff as he isn't a scientist and some of the things he's just wrong about however it is interesting none of the less. I'm pretty sure this would be how the drive would work this would Just be a type of thruster this would just be a it's just a insanely efficient rocket engine that requires no fuel and zero point is a very badly named phenomenon considering how energy dense it is this could accelerate a Quantum Vacuum Ramjet to near light speed in theory the energy equivalent of that would be like like many megatons of TnT This would be extremely difficult to do but not impossible It wouldn't be called electrogravitics since this drive would have exhaust velocity and that would be in the from of high energy gamma rays that would have a very high exhaust velocity if you were to fire up this drive in space it would be a good idea not to aim the drive a planet tbh this sounds like some bs conspiracy theory agian we never had this technology decades ago until now that's just pseudoscience extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Seeing as you're extracting energy from what is essentially the zero point, would the exhaust not be considered negative energy? Ain't that the only thing we're missing for FTL?
@kiedranFan2035 Жыл бұрын
Zero point is a very badly named phenomenon considering how ebergy dense it is. The problem is there is no gradient with which to access it normally. Using metal plates, you can create a difference in its density and thus extract energy while satisfying the 2nd law of thermodynamics. The output should be just normal energy, with energy moving from what keeps space open to energy. Thus your taking energy away from space itself that it needs to expand. It's no free lunch
@drumkommandr9779 Жыл бұрын
@@kiedranFan2035 agreed on your point that there's no free lunch. What we do know is that we need energy densities less than zero to achieve FTL. FIRST we have to start respecting and taking care of our planet. As long as we wreck our own home, we have no right to travel to other worlds! More important: If you hit just a tiny micro-meteorite, a grain of dust of just 1/10 grams at a leisurely 1/10th of light speed, the impact energy of 45 Giga-Joules is equivalent to 10 Tons of TNT. Hit some the size of a 22LR bullet with its 2.6 grams (40 "grains"), and the energy is 260 tons TNT, enough to blow up a sizeable portion of a freight ship and a harbour, and we have seen these kinds accidents in historical movie reels and on TV! Space is not as empty as we'd like it to be, and these objects are plentiful. Even a solid steel-shield of several meters thickness would wear down very rapidly under the expected bombardment with these pesky little dust particles, and the chance of surviving a pebble's impact with the equivalent of an atom-bomb is slim to none! We are guaranteed to hit these things on a trip to the nearest star, because that is a LOT of space to cross. If we are just talking about putzing around in our solar system, it is even worse, because there is a lot of really big and nasty rubble floating around our Sun. Until we crack the shield problem, no interstellar anything is possible, period.

A lot of things are not proven here and in my mind impossible. I have been looking at a lot of modern physics and what people are talking about and calculating and I think that I am forming the opinion that a lot of it is confusion between reality and mathematical models. In reality I am yet to see that any calculations gives me any ore or less potatoes from my potato field. What I am getting at is that in my opinion all fields they talk about are really just tools to calculate what we can measure at given points. Until we know what a simple photon is then I don't think we should worry too much about all the so called fields around it. In my opinion a photon is a carrier of energy and possibly the only carrier of energy. I think it exists as a wave only but I can not work out how. I do not really believe in the aether as a carrier as that just demands that we also work out what aether is. It must some how be an energy carrier that has polarity and a speed of motion. The idea that photons can appear and disappear so fast out of nothing that we cant measure their existence but see their influence on electron movements I am skeptical to. I can not say that I am right of cause but I do not quite believe in a quantum field with enormous energy in it. On the other hand I am not sure that we can say from data we have today that no mass can be accelerated to and past the speed of light. We can calculate it to be so IF the formulas are correct all the way but as long as we haven't tested it we can't say I believe.
