Man when i showed this to my cousin and said i was gonna buy this, he jumped with joy in his face and asked while i get the pennyboard? and said yes but if you could learn to use a pennyboard in under 3 days, and after an hour he now knows how to kick turn.

Thanks. Tempted with the Casper one of these. I cruise around and am rubbish at tricks so ATM I'm using a Nickel but wonder if this'll be better as it's that bit bigger...
@pennyboardtyler6 ай бұрын
It is nicer to have this one in my collection because the surface size is a little bigger. This said, the wheels are smaller than the Nickel board’s wheels just so you know

I got this board ago after riding a 22” for a few years. But I could never get the hang of ollies. I really wanted to be able to hop up curbs when when commuting!

If you really want it, don’t give it up! Ollies are tough, but once you get them, it’s super rewarding/fun

I have this board, I love it. Yes it is a hybrid penny skateboard, you get the best of both worlds. I use to skate back in middle school do tricks and all that, as I got older I wanted to get back in the hobby. Just mainly cruising the city and enjoying the ride, not so much tricks anymore. And I gotta admit this board is perfect. It’s Lightweight, very smooth, and you just look cool riding it ,without the whole “skater look” vide going for you. Lastly I get a lot of compliments on my board and people asking what kind of board is that. Which is nice lol

Cool to hear, AJ! I definitely dig this board too, and I’m glad it’s serving you well too! Happy riding 🤘🏼

Nice, Tyler! Like you've said before, although they're all Penny, they each have their own personality and ride characteristics ... but, they're all fun. :-) Have a great week.

For sure, Sean! Lots of personality with the boards. Take care yourself!

I really want a 32 inch one I feel like it’s the right size for me but are the wheels like a regular skateboard when you ride it or are the wheels like the regular penny board wheels when you ride it
@pennyboardtyler2 жыл бұрын
Great question! They are a bit of a hybrid, but I'd say they're more similar to regular Penny wheels. The size replicates regular skateboard wheels so your center of gravity will be slightly lower (like a regular skateboard), and turning will feel like you would on a regular skateboard. However, they are not as hard as regular skateboard wheels; they are softer, which the feeling is closer to a regular Penny wheel so in my opinion, it rides and carves smoother, like a Penny does

think one of these without trucks would make for a decent diy snowskate?
@pennyboardtyler Жыл бұрын
Yooooo that’s a great idea! I think the 32-inch would probably be the best for a snow skate

Can the wheels be change to 60mm?
@pennyboardtyler2 жыл бұрын
You could change the wheels, but you'd want to be careful of potential wheel bite with turning

Is it really useful for tricks?
@pennyboardtyler2 жыл бұрын
It’s the most useful board for tricks on the Penny line. If you already have a traditional, wooden skateboard, I’d recommend staying with that, especially if doing tricks is your only priority with boarding.
