Each Sunday, I go visit my folks, who are in their 80s. I usually make my dad one of the cocktails I learned from you at some point. I’ve probably made him 30 or 40 different cocktails by now. I recently got some Port and made him “The Elk’s Own.” He said it’s maybe his favorite drink I’ve ever made him. I agree that’s it’s delicious. Thanks for all you do and Happy New Year! By the way, my dad gave me the Oxford Companion to Spirits and Cocktails for Christmas, so you know things are getting serious over here. Ha ha! Cheers! 🎉

I just tried the cocktail with my family and everybody LOVED it! Thank you so much for this recipie! I changed it a little bit: instead of apricot I used raspberry liquor and I put a little bit of cranberry juice and ginger-lemon sirup into it. But I would say that it really comes down to your taste.

Been away for a while, moved house, can't really afford to keep a stocked bar now. Used to always have the full line of Jade Absinthes, no more-haven't enjoyed that beverage in 3 years :( Florida is hella expensive.
