Mistake 1: Getting an aging CP3 for that contract, his game is declining and just turned 34 Mistake 2: Antoni the Face of the Pringles Can chooses to not make adjustments and believes in that ISO ball shoot 3s system against a ball movement offense. Called him Antoni because he doesn't believe in defense Mistake 3: Harden and CP3 (more CP3) kept playing for whistles and he over exaggerated everything. Clint Capela was a nonfactor after saying "we want the Warriors" Mistake 4: CP3 cancelling Curry's 1 hour practice session and the team allowing him to go off for 33 second half points. Then Curry trolling him after the game saying: "Keep me off the court again boy" Mistake 5: Harden gets his points but in the 4th quarter, in the waning moments he just goes ghosts, or takes few shots and stops being aggressive. He will only be looked at a regular season player who is limited offensively and fail to rise in the playoffs I said this for the longest, the miscommunication on defense and GS plays along with the ISO sets on offense cost them this game Excellent breakdown of this video

Louis Velez agreed with you on everything besides the last point. Harden averaged 34 in this series which is really good and the only game when he wasn’t aggressive in the 4th was game 5 which was a pivotal game so he deserves criticism for that but you cant say he wasn’t aggressive throughout the series in the 4th

@louisvelez40
@louisvelez40 5 жыл бұрын
@@bajaj607 First off Warriors are one of the greatest teams, not the greatest team. Secondly you can't say the Rockets did not choke. No Boogie, No KD, Curry went scoreless in the 1st half and had 3 fouls, and the game was still tied at the half. Rockets did not take advantage so no excuses. Harden scored 35 and he balled out along with CP3 but the important details matter in the key moments. Numbers don't have the impact if the Rockets don't win

Rockets don't have defense. What defense were you expecting to show up against the defense shredder? D'antoni gives you twice the offense and less defense. GSW is a balanced offensive and defensive team. It was never a fair fight once KD got injured. At least with KD Houston could have been confident he would have taken a bunch of 2s on purpose. With Steph and Klay they were only gonna get 2s based on how the defense played them, and they are deadly from 3

As a Rockets fan I hate the warriors but I gotta give them respect cause simply outplayed us even without KD. Honestly they don't even need KD cause their chemistry and ball movement is off the charts. They simply have a better system than we do

Don't feel bad Rockets fans. It's not the players, they have heart. It's management and coaching. First Houston seriously overpaid for CP3 on the tail end of his career. With them losing Ariza and Bah Moute, they would have been better served to spend that money on another elite consistent scorers to help Harden, Jimmy Butler, comes to mind, Ariza should have been kept because he would have been the only serious defender on KD and with KD going down he would have been huge. Lastly, they need to realize D'ANTONI and his system is not a great fit for trying to take down a team of this caliber. Look at his system with great players. ISO BALL WILL NEVER WORK! Move on and hire someone who cares about the D as well as the 3!

@Dom2k you are right on point with this video my brother. I am disappointed yet not surprised at all by our early exit at the hands of Dub City. D'Antoni's emphasis on the 3-point shot was hit or miss and it finally misfired over the last two games. Had we advanced to the Western Conference Final there is still no guarantee that we would have made it to the championship against most likely the Bucks. Denver is an up and coming team while Damian Lillard has made a career out of being a Rocket Killer (2014 First Round Game 6). Keep the hot takes coming and thanks for your channel.
