nice video ! 😊 I think you missed a change i did to the brambles, now there is two kinds : the wild ones (on the map at start) now need to be chopped by lumberjacks and only yield bramble flowers (no wood). And the "domesticated" brambles that are more like the one from the last time you played, they can be planted by the tree nursery and either be gathered for flowers by a gatherer, or for wood by a lumberjack. Also in order to get access to the top of the cliff near the lemons, instead of using dynamite you can build small bridges, the 1 and 2 long variants are not science locked, that will allow you to cross the chasm if you can afford the planks =) and don't forget that many reciepes consume water, you probably could use a bit more tanks, pumping and farming. 😉

told him about brambles on EP1 but ... typed in quite an essay, guess he missed it 😅

→ At the beginning of the episode you are in a tricky situation: almost no water stored up (it's out at 4:26), but you need the water in the river for irrigation, showering, and the clay harvesting. Make sure to get more water pumps and storage constructed to not run into this the next droughts. → 10:17 "I lied, we need chestnut flour, that's going to be in like 10 episodes once we have screw presses" - actually, to make flour, you need the gristmill, not the screw presses. → 17:05 "We do have to have coal and scrap-metal to do that" [...] 17:32 "We can also make charcoal [...] but we don't really have a use for that now" - "Charcoal" is just the name for the recipe for making coal in the wood burner - at the end it's the same coal as you can get out of the mine, and it can be used for the metal fasteners. So if you have enough wood, and don't want to switch your mine, I'd suggest to make some charcoal. → I'd also suggest to build some more storages for all the stuff which is left over from destroying the cart, just so you actually see it in your inventory. (I think there are some gears, for example.) → 34:00 The mushroom grower can work without workers, if you have haulers bringing input resources (and taking the output resources). So it might make sense to set the job-priority to lower, and have that beaver e.g. become a hauler. Similar for the cooking tent - as you found, the recipes continue when nobody is there, so the job of the employees in these "can function without a worker" building is just to be a dedicated hauler for this one building, without the hauler bonus..

You're not disrespectful with our time... you just get a bit cheeky every so often.

7:18 FYI: I've seen 2 pit n ladder towers 5 spaces apart .... THEN the player put the waterbeaver equivalent of side platforms on each at a side door, then a side platform extension on each, then a bridging platform piece to join them ( repeated 3 wide, center was path, & 2 rows of 5 1x1 amenities were created in midair 😱 per such build) on other outside faces the door went to roof terraces etc., or [door of] stacks of storage.... I think the player is endgames, in case you want to look

Hey, hope you don’t mind me saying so but I loved listening to the Bob and Tom radio show in the mornings with my dad, it was my favorite thing to do. Your voice should on radio and it reminds me of Bob and Tom lol

I got an A in my Radio News course in college, if that makes you feel validated. 😎 Was going to pursue a career in media production but then the pandemic happened and I accidentally became a gaming youtuber. Thanks for watching!

Just a thought ...there are a lot of dead trees at the "back" of the settlement...you could chop them down I believe you get all the wood even though they died. I think the new drinking game is how often the settlement floods after a drought because you forget to demolish the lodge...lol😂😂🌊🌊

Great episode. I think you may have run out of marked trees to cut.

Those buildings that run without workers could all go to lower priorities and with the haulers you will get for the tower let them take care of moving the stuff around in the coocking tent/mush grower.... way more efficient like that since the haulers gets buffs the asssigned workers don't

That's part of the fun of the water beaver mod. Sometimes, weird things happen to beavers who work in mines...

honestly i give you a lot of credit i got into this cause of skye and your videos but man the base game takes a long ass time for fully fleshed out builds this just looks brutal

The new wall you built is only 3 wide. The reason your beavers were contaminated is when they built the bad water pump the used the stairs to built the platforms.

You need to punch the trees to get the wood, to build the table, to craft the axe to chop the trees - Minecraft teaching us that life in-game is a sequence of tasks that chain together to make the world a better place lol.

it had plus and dowsides, overall it's nice and gonna be less confusing for newer players, biggest issue is that if you have a save prior to the change there is a high percentage change it will break it ( like for my Pinkertown XVI) was quite bummed out when it messed it up but with the help of the @Lapantouflemagic0 it's back up and running ( just realized I'm 1000h deep on that run 🤣)

well except for that little flooding at the end, i would call this episode pretty perfect for a water beaver playthrough..
