Good review, I just got my Radical today, and played with it for 2 hours! It’s amazing, I have never been able to have good slides, but with this beauty it was great! I sting it with hybrids at 48 pounds. Totally recommend it.

Played with both for a while, I found the radical-mp harder to play with, more crysp, less forgiving, maybe more precise on flat balls and weird on backhand slice, more suitaible for a modern back of the court style of play. Extrem-tour was a thrill to serve with, good feel, more whippy, more suitable for top spin player, more all around kind of raquet, having more precision than a twinner racquet.

It's funny bc i've tested both the 360+ versions of ET and Radical last summer and everyting you said was the other way around. The ET felt very erratic with an inconsistent string bed. Sweetspot was way smaller than Radical and comfort was also worse. Have you played with the old 360+ ET? I highly doubt the Auxetic does change this racquet that much... looks are subjective but the Auxetic ET looks hideous IMO... ;)

Interesting to read. Tennis is very subjective and feel is also. I did not play with the 360+. Maybe I should try if I can state that. I feel like that the Auxetic has more impact on some rackets and almost none on others. For instance the Speed Pro is sooo similar to the old ones. But maybe I will find a 360+ version to confirm what you are saying! Thanks for your comment :)

I’m a 4.0 senior all court player. Hit mostly flat, some spin, lots of touch and a one-handed backhand…From your perspective, which of the two would best fit my style?

Thanks for the interesting question. Very hard to tell because those two are so similar. If you are want more spin and maybe better touch the Extreme Tour would be the better the choice. I hope I will play with the new Radical on Sunday. Than I can tell you if the auxetic radical would be a better fit for your gamestyle. But for now I would say the Extreme(but the difference is not too big)

agree with your assessment but i think the radical auxetic mp has improved. Maybe the new version would match the ET.

Definetely felt the improvement in the newer version. Maybe there is a follow up to this video :) but as the footage of the new one is a little blurry I have to get again and make new footage with it.

hmm I am not sure. But I believe that they are very similar. I did not pay attention to that to be honest.

Bravo pour ce test et merci Tu es un très bon joueur, combien es tu classé? Je viens d'acquérir une extrême tour qui sera ma première ou seconde raquette avec la vcore 100 que j'utilise depuis 6mois. En fait, désolé de parler en français, je joue pas trop mal avec la vcore 100, je reste derrière à défendre et contre attaquer, mais dès que je veux faire le jeu et monter au filet, je suis maladroit avec ce cadre. Je le sens comme trop puissant et je ne joue pas vraiment beaucoup lifté. De plus j'ai l'impression que le vcore 100 est pas très bon au filet. Alors voilà les cadres théoriques que j'avais noté dans ma liste : -vcore pro 100 -Textreme 100p -RS 300 -Blade 98 CV -Qtour pro 315g Je n'ai essayé aucun mais ils sont tous sur ma liste de bonnes raquettes qui me permettraient peut être de jouer en avançant et ne pas toujours rester derrière avec la vcore 100 (qui est excellente derrière la ligne arrière et pour jouer plat) J'arrive à l'Extrerme tour que j'ai eu pas cher le modèle 360+. premier essai hier. Evidemment je pense que je devrais rajouter du poids, les balles flottaient un peu et mon service plat tapait trop souvent le filet. Quel customisation vois tu pour cette Extrême tour, au niveau du manche + la tête de raquette. Merci infiniment, désolé j'étais long. Et bonne continuation

Merci for your comment. Appreciate that . I used google translator because my french is not good :D you are right. The vcore is very powerful and great for defence. If you want a racket to be a little less powerful and is also great for the net game try the Head Gravity MP. You get the best of both worlds. Also the Blade 98 but 16x19 could be a good option but is harder to play. If you play on clay maybe the Babolat Pure Aero would be a racket for you, Test some out and let me know which on you like :) Again big thanks

What strings and at what tension did you use?

Head Lynx Tour at 25kg. I try to use my go to string and the same tension in every playtest so I can be as objective as possible. Thanks for the comment

@@servingaces I haven’t gelled with lynx tour. In my radical mp 360 I tried head hawk touch at 24/23kg. I kind of like the racket but it feels a little bit erratic - can go flying on my forehand and not enough power on my two handed backhand 🤷‍♂️

@@PallasMudist I had the same issue with the head speed pro that is why I changed the racket. Maybe add some led tape to increase the swingweight and try go up in tension again!

Why are you comparing these two rackets when the Radical isn't the Auxetic version? Doesnt make any sense to do so. Wait until you can compare both rackets with the Auxetic technology. Otherwise it just doesnt make any sense. Unless this review is just a shady attempt at a click bait.

Hey chad you are partially right. But the auxetic technology is not as big of a deal. It is a minor change in my opinion. And when you listen to other youtubers they say that there is not so much change than you probably think it is. But I will make an update comparison when I had the chance to test the Auxetic Radical.
