I am so jealous of y'all's Goodwills! When we first moved to Denver in 2020 (yes in Covid) we were fooled as I found so much. Now the shelves racks are half empty - I think with most people out shopping in stores now plus the fact the GW in CO pulls a lot of items to sell online has emptied out the stores a bit. Luckily there are so many great ways to source here other thrifts, sales, etc. that I still find a lot.

I am converting to estate sales instead of GWs due to pricing and too many sellers. At the good sales, I pick up many comped items and determine the price point I want to pay..it's pretty good if you buy enough..I try to stay within a $2 to $5 price point and then try to sell the items for at least $35 to $40.. some higher if possible. The GWs by me in S. FL are not that great..not like they used to be..but then again..sometimes you can get lucky.♥️🙀🐱 Loved those glass lamps, and Roger is a sweetheart.

I love that Burberry jacket. If I bought something like that, I would just find a good tailor to repair it or even attempt to repair the holes myself with a bit of careful thread work. I have a woven textured red with black Woolrich jacket that I absolutely love. The thinner black wool lining needs some minor repairing and de-pilling, but the 100% wool outer fabric is as if new. I've had it for maybe 25 years and got it on sale at a dept store when lived in Va. The Burberry is worth more than my Woolrich, but they were both made with such high quality and are a classic style that will really hold up for decades!

I once found a Burberry trench in college down south, still have it in my closet. I hope your find is real! Our GWs here in Madison have been jacking prices up. I asked cashiers at one store about it, the line was that someone (maybe someone in the regional office?) has a list of brands, and they price according to that. It's been more noticeable with clothes than housewares, but every now and then I see something on the shelf that I almost drop due to sticker shock. If they weren't getting pretty much everything in their stores for free, a hike might be justified. But nope. Another quality video, thanks Karen.
