I know this video was made 2 years ago, so I don’t know who will see my comment. My question is, the side that the pearls are on considered the front? If so, you’re calling the front loops the back loops and vice versa.

Hi Mumbi, thank you so much for your comment! Raffia yarn has a specific feel and structure. I do not think that a different yarn would have the same effect. On the other hand, if you use a cotton yarn (hook size 4-6) then the result will also be very nice. I have seen a video of a multicoloured accordion bag made with cotton yarn and it looked very nice, just a different style. I hope this helps!

Hi Sukanya. They were 8mm pearls (the pack I ordered comes in different sizes so I chose the ones that looked the best in my opinion but it's definitely personalizable).
