Screw their draft pool, I got my own list: 1. Kanye - production, solid subject matter, & popularity 2. Nas - speaks for itself, will also sell records to the old heads 3. J. Cole - imagine him around other lyricists, he would come with CRAZY verses 4. Lupe Fiasco - verses for the nerds 5. Mike Shinoda - cross-over appeal, brings diversity, sings, raps, writes & produces 6. Black Thought - lyricist 7. B.o.B. - underrated/overrated whatever he'll bring hits & we need a southern presence 8. Pharrell - stretch that he's a rapper but whatever he produces hits and he raps 9. The Game - gives the label a West Coast presence and is consistent 10. xxxtentacion (wildcard pick) - connects with a different audience, and has potential I tried to leave out picking guys like MF Doom or Immortal Technique who are mad underground and won't sell records, and dudes who would have been drafted by somebody else by the time I wanted them like Jay-Z or Eminem.

Well, from scrolling through the comments it's clear Mac is the most underrated rapper on the list. Fucking Logic, Joey Badass, Vince, Schoolboy, Ab Soul, Earl Sweatshirt? Get the f outta here. Mac could rinse them all, no questions + he's made beats for most of them. He pretty much put Vince on & picked Earl out of a hole when he left odd future. Schoolboy ran with his clout. Really, you think Logic the cheesy, style bitter is better than him? If mac's dad was black, Logic would be nothing. And Mac wouldn't have to talk about it on every song.
