So funnily enough I found shipwreck island about 20-30 minutes into the game after I first got it without realizing its significance, and when I began achievement hunting and trying to find the plane crash island it took me over 150 hours to find it and I wasn't even excited it more of feeling of relief

Had exactly the same, found Shipwreck Island in first two hours but the Crashed Plane Island found it about 143 hours later, tought it wouldn't exist 😂😅😅

@@Darkshizumaru 382 hours across different saves, and I've still never seen Crashed Plan Island. However, like others, found shipwreck island about 30 minutes in single player. few hours in on multiplayer, and started a second multiplayer that took maybe 20 hours before finding it and then found it a second time in that game. So total of 4 visits to shipwreck island.

What sucks is that if you spend a lot of time working on your raft you might have sailed right past the rare islands and not even noticed.

On my first world with my friend, we were just floating around and I googled how to get red berries for the drumstick with jam. It then told about plane crash island having 2 berries or so, when I came back to the game the island was right infront of us lol! On second save I just started, and I could see the help flag from very far away, so I made an anchor and crafted a few spears, took me about 15 minutes to swim there.

In my 800 days world , i found the sunken ship like 6 times and the plane crash island 4 times,i first came across one of these islands 1 hour into the game lol, great video btw

I discovered the airplane one ONCE in 100+ hrs and I've never discovered the sunken ship. They should keep adding these rare occurrences as small tokens to keep the game meaningful. Btw, I loved the decoration update!

I found Shipwrieck Island 3 times on my last world alone. Having a couple radios to place on board is pretty awesome.

I managed to find the Shipwreck island on the 2nd Island I ever encountered after spawning on my first world. However, I wasn't able to access it as since I only started had no way to navigate my raft towards the Island. I manage to find another one after Balboa then lost the hat, but then found ANOTHER shipwreck island again some time later. I only managed to get to plane crash Island after beating Tangaroa and I've secured the Pilots helmet ever since. I'm going to get every rare hat till everyone on my crew has their roles established.

During my first playthrough, in december 2020, there was a very tall large tropical island, and I haven’t managed to find that again in my new playthrough, I wonder if it has been removed, or if it’s just rare

In one of my first worlds, one of the first islands was the one with the shipwreck, at that point, i thought it would be a beginner island or a tiny starting check point of the story.

I managed to get both the islands, and even farm enough radios from the boat island to make sure I always hear the radio on my raft. It's like 20+, nut only found the plane one a handful of times. (Might be because it has no radio....)

Shipwreck island was the first island i landed on xD i only got to build 2 foundations before i found it… or more accurately bumped into it. Now im finding out that it’s actually rare soooooo Thank you wind and waves!!!!

With 2 of my friends, we found the plane island next to the shipwreck island ! It was weird, we've seen the plane island and after two minutes : Another one ! I'm searching for that and i'm seeing it's very Very VERY RARE to find this two island litteraly on the same place in this big ocean !

I'm honestly just watching some videos on raft because I'm getting back into the game after a long time and wanted to get caught up on new stuff that's been added, but I genuinely didn't realize how lucky I was finding these islands until now 💀.. granted I guess I have been playing a long time lol, but. I never made it my goal or anything. I've had the pilots helmet a long time, and always wear it !! But I recently came across the shipwreck island and got the radio and captains hat :) I didn't realize they were rare !! I'm glad I have them ;_;

It's wierd that they're that rare. I visited both rather early on in my main world, and literally bumped into another plane crash when I wasn't paying attention to passing islands because I was rebuilding my raft.

So, I discovered shipwreck island not exactly early on in my playthrough but still pretty early and....I didn't realize, for whatever reason, you could go into the part of the ship that wasn't submerged. So I never got an achievement...I got to the part that was submerged, and you'd think that'd be enough to get the achievement but I guess not. Welp, I guess I gotta hope to see it a second time. :x ... I also didn't get all the loot because I was too scared of Bruce and hadn't quite mastered the art of killing him or getting enough shark bait to keep him away. Sad times for me. :(

Hi ... nice video thanks! - and yes I have three times been to 'sinking ship island ' and at ' plane crashed island' once. It was completely random, think I was looking for something else and bumped into them,without knowing it was something special! - think I just drifted around, maybe even without having set sail. : ) Good luck!

I'm not sure it's the best idea to do Discord Nitro giveaways. Phishing scams using free nitro links are common and I know several friends who have gotten hacked from it. Although you enter the giveaway by reacting to a message, that still doesn't stop someone from impersonating you and sending users those scam links that log their IP and passwords.
