Only children think of games in terms of 'dead'. I mean that literally as the term has only come about in the past 10-15 years. I still play Wizardry 1-7, Ultima 1-4 and others on and off.. kids are so conditioned and indoctrinated into a constant stream of terrible DLC practices and microtransactions they can't fathom that games were once released in a complete state and that was it. Hell, most of the people i played against in halo 3 before i bought an xbox one were brazilians because im in america and their servers were active until long after shooter fans switched to call of duty and battlefield.

Brazilians keep old shooter games and fighting games alive single handedly. Love brazilians, without them i wouldnt still be able to play battlefield 4 on xbone, and i wouldnt have been able to play ultimate mortal kombat 3 on the xbox360 against other people.

I really liked rising storm, always will remember the moment where I somehow landed my heli while half of it was missing, we hit the ground and rolled around. Only 1 person died, the rest survived to be killed in seconds by a machine gun ambush from the jungle. Got one of the rarest achievements in the game this way.
