I would prefer Kaiser Manuel - The Story of a young arrogant monarch with a questionable Background, trying to consolodate his realm is wax more intresing than the next 100 repetetiv mercenary Quests.

We've seen what playing landless is like already, so unless you have a specific goal for Andrew, I say keep playing as Manuel. Try to recruit as many Germans as possible and make the Römisches Reich into the new Holy Roman Empire.

Honestly, after what happened to Skirts, it is hard to feel bad for Luther. Kudos for creating a character who is genuinely a horrible person, but in the most entertaining way possible! Him setting off to conquer land from Bulgaria, only to realise all his "allies" loathe him too much to even _consider_ helping, was a nice bit of schadenfreude just before the end. I do not have a strong preference for who you should play as-either brother would make for an interesting story. But whoever you end up choosing, please give Manuel a haircut! 😅

I say to continue playing as Manuel,because until now there are many landless playthoughs but there isn't really a Latin Empire indepth playthough, just stand alone videos,so it would be cool if this was the first indepth playthough of the Latin Empire,even if it isn't really the Latin Empire.

@ yea, I like the historical series and like 1-2 years ago I remember he did the Stjarna series and disappeared for a while if I remember correctly. I think it was just work and stuff. Got to remember he does this in his spare time and sometimes life gets hectic…

Luther's murder could have been prevented by choosing to re-double guards as a countermeasure focus in the intrigue tab/icon on the right. His murder was inevitable when that action wasn't chosen.

Andrew helps manuel and then manuel helps andrew You can change your camp purpose to legalist from mercenary while playing as andrew and fight for rabe lands while manuel funds your war as you helped him in protecting his seat

The land that venice controls is far more important to the life and trade of constantinople than the city itself cause venice could pretty much starve the whole city by blocking trade coming from the mediterrian. I like to think that King Bela and the Doge had Luther killed cause hes tyranny interferd with the Doges trade and he probably wanted to replace him someone younger who is easily manipulated like Manuel and Bela probably just wanted to get rid of him.

I have to say i really like that you decide to break up the roman empire even more because realistically if you can even call this realistic band of mercenary ruling Constantinople but just like in real life rome would break down like this is crazy what this game become i have start rewatching your video such as the drengot and ck3 has change alot not only with landless adventure but also admin goverment which i believe you should do a series around eastern rome maybe playing as the Palaiologos who knows keep doing your thing

Even after his many crimes I might have felt a little bit bad for Luther if not for what he did to poor Alexandra 😢 May Luther's name be cursed throughout the ages. Truly one of the most despicable men to ever live. Admittedly am tempted to see what happens with Manuel as a train-wreck of an unfit king but think Andrew would probably have the better long term story prospects and it would be a continuation of the Black Company. And poor Stephania, after her evil father murdered her mother and and her cruel brother murdered her husband I think Stephania would be getting out of there at the first possible chance, maybe joining back up with the lesser evil sibling Andrew.

Being a big fan of mercenary books. I like to imagine the company splitting up would go like this. The greedy and more wild minded mercenaries would probably go with Luther to secure him on his throne. Probably causing more issues then they are fixing. I bet the despoiling of Byzantium hasn't really stopped and they are like a army of bandits guarding this city state of a broken empire. The mercenaries that are more of the standard blackguard and sellswords probably went with Andrew, since he fits the rugged style they would be aligned to. While the golden eagles are more of your nobleborn/Pompous swords who thought Robert was more their style, The rich kids of the company basically.

I really like the idea of andrew doing an artifact claim war, that seems like a fun story. before that though, I think it'd be really cool if andrew joined this war. maybe he does so hoping to get the sword as payment, then turns on manuel when if the request is denied? hopefully you can fix the bugged headgear thing if you play as andrew!

Great episode. It's great to see John Grant come into his own a bit this episode! Feels close to the historicak John who died defending Constantinople. I would play as Andrew, I think there's more of a story to tell with reclaiming the ancestral lands a priority and would be able to scheme to get the Raven sword back. Before switching over, can you find a wife for John before he goes down fighting?

Andrew has the disloyal trait, so would he be interested in following his father’s footsteps to try and reconquer his lands? Maybe after a lifetime being his father’s right hand, he would feel bitter that his younger brother would become an emperor while he remains a mercenary, and he and the Black Company would aim to seize Constantinople from Manuel? After all, he is the eldest son of the former Kaiser, and that jumped-up brat Manuel is in a vulnerable position…

Very fitting end for Luther to be assassinated like that. Man I dont know really, I like either options. Manuel is a very interesting character but it is clear everything is falling apart now and there's just chaos everywhere that Luther is gone. Like I said though idk its tough cause I like both choices here and it would be kind of cool to see what the AI does with the situation around Constantinople and we still have the Mongols coming. In the next one can you show the map of religion specifically this region?

I say go back to the Black Company and just watch how the AI handles the remnants of the Byzantines. There's so many more potentially interesting stories with Andrew for now and we still essentially get to see Manuel's story play out just without your involvement. The artifact war for Luther's sword and trying to reclaim his land in Germany sounds like a cool goal.

My issue with continuing with the black company, is that we have no remnants of the original company... only the darn cannibals Pickle.. is a time jump possible, allows for some new exciting characters to pop up!!!! More unsavory outcasts!

I think playing as Andrew but as legitamist camp type would be cool. despite being disloyal i think that's more to random connections. Moreso than a family legacy he is ambitious seems like Manuel is will be killed soon enough like his father
