Nice video production. I don't have a way to edit. I did a motor-drop conversion videos nearly 5 years ago then my buddy Josh from RC Everyday did one after I did that's much more in-depth....it's by far the best tutorial vid done so far. I didn't have any of your problems. First you run the steering linkage to the opposites opposite side(not the motor side)this way the linkage coming off the servo stays on top of the leaf. Theres plenty of room to keep the linkage behind the axle. If your really wanting to keep or put the linkage in the front....run it under the leaf. No need to shorten the servo horn to the point that you have no steering. But I'm sure you fixed all this in the last two year since this video(hopefully).

That's a tough one, 3500 rupee = $52 usd. I would say check out the SXJJX Rock Off-Road 1/18 scale. Looks pretty nice for under 50 US dollars.

I did end up getting the steering sorted on this truck, but you're right any time you make a mod it can lead to other issues. Of course that's what makes the hobby fun!

Yeah no. This is just too much of a hack job. To gain a few degrees of side hilling? Hell nah. That hacked together steering is a complete joke....

dont do this !!!! just switch the steering link to the opposite side this is wayyyyy too much to do and super unnecessary

Got my marlin last week feb2023. My axle hits my servo already in stock position. Is this mod really worth all you have to do to it. Honestly a revolver motor seems like a must for this mod so you don’t have to cut up so much.
