I've been playing STO for about 14 years and I've watched a LOT of STO videos over the years. I really enjoy your videos and your style. You are very good at speaking to players, regardless of their experience in the game, and you're never arrogant or condescend to players. You're also a good speaker. I'm an experienced player, but I do not chase DPS, min-max, or PvP. I don't find that fullfilling or fun, especially PvP. I don't want my fun to revolve around constantly running one Borg TFO forever. So, thanks for the great content you put out and I look forward to watching more of it.

I have never played any other game where the players get so invested in what is essentially a $120 microtransaction in a 14 year old game. In any other game the player base would be in uproar at the ideas of such an expensive in game bundle yet in STO the players are disappointed when they don't have a reason to spend. If I had to speculate the studio change is a big part of problem its just not a good time to be creating new ships I read that one of the TFO ships was only just got completed in time. Its entirely possible something else was planned but not finished. I wish they would just added older premium ships to the c store after a couple of years instead of bundling them.

The mobile game Marvel Strike Force (which is a tactical turn-based strategy game... on your phone) has $100 character unlock packs. For a phone game. AND PEOPLE PAY IT. I really don't understand people sometimes. Oh, and if you just wait a couple weeks, you can unlock the character for free.

It's funny. My wife and I were having a similar conversation earlier on the drive home about how people don't get this animated about products they don't like. Nobody is raging because a new shampoo doesn't come in a scent they want. Something about games, and this one in particular, really seems to grip people.

Family time sitting and watching the shows, meeting cast members, making costumes and visiting conventions, having group events in the game. It may be for the better of for the worse to any given individual, but this franchise is in people's blood. You have to understand that some people take it very seriously.

Quite honestly none of these bundles or c-store things make a whit of difference to me personally, because I'll never have the money to buy them and I'm far too busy with work and family to have the number of characters it would take to run a dil farm. I just run my characters through TFO's and Patrols, enjoy the events when they come up, spend the coupons and enjoy the other free stuff that they give out and have fun. I've been promoting this game to all my friends since I started playing way back at launch and as long as the servers are running I'll continue to enjoy it and bring others to it to have fun too.

Here's the main issue as I see it. From a business perspective STO relies on a few key sales times to make their money. The anniversary event and the seasonal sales are where I would imagine the bulk of their yearly income comes from. So in this transitory period where Embracer and their shareholders are looking at their new aquisitions, wondering where to "trim the fat." A suddenly underperforming title, with an unhappy "Whale Base"; May find itself in the firing line. Sorry to reduce us down to how I imagine the marketing people refer to us, but at the end of the day this is a profit based business. So how do they repair the damage at the least cost? I'd say they would announce a re-balance / work of the problem ship , acknowledge the server issue and a "promise" to look into a fix.

Bring back the Foundry as a fanfic platform and expand demorecord functionality. Promote top episodes with zen prizes. Promote storytelling and forget about mission balance. Trek fans want a hangout and platform to run TTG style games. STO isn't it. I'm so tired of doing the same TFO 14 straight days with zero interaction with other people.

@@danlowe Back in the mists of time Eve Online ran something called the "Aurora Programme." Whereby players could write and execute their own small stories, within strict guidelines, using volunteers as NPC's. Given the passionate and knowledgeable playerbase of STO, I can't see why something similar to Aurora couldn't work here. Instant, free, regular content made by the people who play the game the most.

I agree. But as someone that played the game from its beta testing stage I remember the foundry well. It had a lot of bugs and if I recall correctly the bugs were so bad that they had to get rid of it. Also because the original people who wrote the code for it also had left the company. Great idea that sadly didn’t pan out because of technical issues. At the same time though I wish it still existed and they had fixed the issues in it because I’m betting you’d have a bigger player base simply from Star Trek fans that want to create their own episodes. There were a lot of awesome episodes people produced in the foundry as well. I miss a few of those.

I have no pony in this race. I never buy the bundles. Maybe if I made content, and could write it off as a business expense- but I do not. That said, I do recall those years I got the newest lego kits for Christmas and then the following year, Dad lost his job. So next Christmas was underwear and socks! Budgets change. Paying designers to pump out 12 ideas to choose from and maybe 2 or 3 get picked to do something with; that's an extravagance that a game owned by a company that lost a LOT of it's value last year, and being shifted to a leaner publisher may not be able to afford. Looks like it's Mighty Mouse Underoos and Clifford the Big Red Dog Socks time, kids!

I've had an account for years now but i hardly play. I'm just jumping in and out every omce in a while. Honeslty, I've been watching your videos to actually learn how to really play the game. I really enjoy the ship play, and it's what I've consistently come back for. I've seen all the videos about people angry over the bundle and I honestly dont know what to think about it cause while ive had an account for a long time ive not spent enough time invested to really understand. As a long time destiny player though o can understand resentment build up from issues being ignored.

Thanks for the off the cuff reaction video ^^. Not personally hit a lag issue in game, maybe its a regional thing? Though in fairness I tend to only get gaming time over the weekend and at specific hours which maybe works well for not too busy. All these owner changes make it increasingly impossible, because every new investor is looking to make more from the game. I guess I will just keep hoping theres a few Trek fan investors who are more concerned with improving the Trek experience and just knows if they get stuff the fans love the revenue will come easily.

I don't want to buy a 7 year old ship with locked-to-ship console & warp core, it is a lesser ship, than the other ships in the bundle because of it. I'm not a fan how Cryptic handled communication about this bundle, I found it to be strategically ambiguous & cowardly. Therefore I'm raising my pitchfork by closing my wallet. imo Cryptic should've included both Tal Shiar Adapted T6 ships, changed their consoles & the warp cores for any ship usage, & added an infinite account-wide & locked Nanite Disrupter weapon pack.

Well, it's kind of a big deal in the sense of: Making all those ships is a big investement, and if it doesn't pay off, at this stage of the game, we're one step closer to maintenance mode.

STO needs to hurry up and be bought out so it doesn't die this year. I know a lot of companies wait until the last moment as the company gets cheaper so maybe there is still hope for a competent dev to take over the game? Otherwise we can expect maintenance mode in the future. Everything in the store unlocked, etc. (kind of a moot point when there is no more content for the game to be released.)

I came to a similar conclusion after the initial disappointment passed and I thought about it. Why are we angry? Because the “bonus ship” in a bundle is not good? A bundle of regular c-store ships that you can get individually so you don’t have to buy the bundle? Why get angry about that? I definitely understand the disappointment. I felt it too (though no more than when I thought it was the Parliament)… but is the unbridled rage that we saw really deserved? Is the vitriol warranted? I don’t think so.

Okay, one thing that I object to is that there was a post years ago. About a developer complaining that it took too long to create a character. So what happens the character crater gets Cut down in capacity so yeah resentful over that

Honestly I've come around on this bunlde, just due to the value even when completely ignoring the adapted destroyer. I'm going to wait to see how things go live to decide if I want to buy it or not. Right now I'm definitely going to pick up the Checkov and the Atlantis, if the Niagra console ends up being usable on self and as good as it looks I'll be picking it up too. And at the point of buying three of the ships it makes just as much sense to grab the whole bundle for the added value. I do wish that the Lafayette was an extra T6 coupon since I already have that one, but oh well.

Well, I never have (due to my budget - Medical Bills come first) bought one of these Bundles - BUT as a mainly KDF/Romulan the only ship I was interested in was the Tal Shiar Mandukar Adapted Destroyer.

The problem is, the theme of all this is Wolf 359. Borg and Star Fleet. If they would have put a Borg ship or Wolf 359 Star Fleet ship instead of a Romulan ship, I think things would have been different.

Hi Stu,good review as always,at this time some know me and others don't,in my particular case as you well know i was in a very good position some years ago with the regional prices,that was a very good deal to buy zen even with the tax it was less than a half of any in the US paid,41 dollars the big bundle of zen against the 200 in normal price there,with the tax those 41 rise to almot 80 in that time,almost double because my prepaid card also have their own tax,and from last year when epic "made a new contract" or something of that kind happened after the "Bots & gold sellers thing" that cut a lot my position in the game and how i can afford things,now i'm in a position when i can't buy the same amount but i can still buy 10k zen per month,maybe a little more depending of how much money i can save in that month like i think most of us,my country is in a very bad economic position right now,example: 254% of inflation from january of 2023 to january of 2024,and my salary is not growing at the same time as the inflation per month does,so every month im fighting more than ever to keep buying the new releases because i love star trek and i love this game,is like all in one,at this time i think there is no item you saw in any show that is not in the game,even traits named after one thing some of the characters of that show did.All player have a different economic situation and that is going to determine if you can allow to spend that kind of money to get an specific bundle,ship or whatever that person want,i'm glad i took the chance to buy like the 99.9% of the items of the game,that turn me in a collector of items,i have the characters so i can set them with those items,i like themed things so this bundle i want it,like all the other stuff,i was very lucky to take my chance when i was allow to afford it,so now there are only the new releases that i don't have,when my country economic problem don't allow me to buy something anymore i will try with other ways,old ways as a F2P,there are many options to still get some things in game,all deppends of how you work it,so as you said,if you like it,try to buy it,the point of play a game is to have fun,to try to use what you like,what you want,the game is expensive,more than other games but doing an ant job anything can be buyed,it can take just a little more time,i hope this game continue for many many more years and get better in all ways,more players,more content,more items,and mainly,better servers,if servers are bad then can't hold a lot of players at the same time,the better the server more people can go in and stay ... We want to love it, we want new ships and we want a good ship from infinity or promo on account unlock with a few extra goodies. They made it so bad we don't get that. The most people will do is grab the individual ships and that's just sad, it's a letdown, people get hyped up for these things. Ultimately the main issue here is the fact that infinity/promo ships should be account unlock and they arent and never will be because cryptic are greedy.

The thing about Parliament is that it would work because the console on it only allows you to have 1. so to be able to get more would be worth over 100 dollars alone. but with the TSAD. the thing only has 1 passive. if they added something like +14% Shield Capacity to the console and unlinked it from the TS ships it would be worth the pretty penny.

Personally I think the "core" content of the bundle doesn't carry it's intended value enough, most of these ships are most well known as having been made for a debris field without much thought, and they're not considered pretty (Credit for the artists on the 25th century version of them, cause they look much better). Meanwhile for a few more bucks and patience, you can get a bundle that contains most of your favorite hero ships, that come with a bunch of stuff in each ship already. I don't think the premiums or extra goodies were ever going to save this bundle from being hated

I've been speaking out because my favorite era of Star Trek is TNG, so I'm always eager for more TNG-style ships. I'm not upset about the bundle; I'm simply disappointed. I haven't invested much money into this game lately. In the past five years, I've only purchased Zen once. However, I was considering buying this pack under the assumption it would contain all the Wolf 359 ships. Now that I know it won't, I've decided against purchasing it.

A comment on lag/rubber banding I just took it as normal as I'm on the other side of the world to CA on a wireless network. In the past I have played two other MMO's EvEonline and WoW. EvE (servers in Iceland) has records for most number of players online and most expensive losses in one battle (real expensive real money values of ships there) Though, that I survived on a similar connection. WoW played back in 2010 much higher player base than STO and very laggy with my connection, for those nearer to servers (which they have worldwide) not so much.

Put me in the category of players that is happy to have my galaxy exploration cruiser fitted out with crafted equipment and living my best life because I get to captain a ship that I fell in love with when I was a kid. I play on console and set all my powers to auto-execute and I'm having a blast! I buy ships that appeal to my feelings of nostalgia, so none of these ships appeal to me. Who cares if they come with meta mastery traits or consoles. I'm happy playing the game piloting my Galaxy!

"There's nothing else like it." And there it is, the crux of the issue. There's a lot of enjoyment and potential there, and anything that pulls back the curtain and reminds you this won't last forever is going to be frustrating. And nothing will do that quite like a lackluster bundle. Edit: 14:15 The only other one I know about is another older MMO I pop into from time to time. Dungeons & Dragons Online. Persistent lag issues, and a community fragmented over several servers with no cross-server play. Unfortunately, it's closer to Champions Online's "success" rather than STO's, so it's unlikely to be addressed. SSG is putting their effort into LOTRO instead (a closer analog to STO, with less money printing).

I get what you're saying here. BUT, given the fact that with the proliferation of "features" emerging, and the sudden generosity with the event campaigns, I would have expected something a little more "Oomphy." This is like a sudden pothole in Autobahn. It doesn't look good. When I saw a 359 TFO in the works I thought, "I bet we're getting the kitbash ships in a bundle..." Im my experience, when a company known for hiding what their customers want behind "surprise mechanics" suddenly starts giving things away, listen for the sounds of hammers against a hollow wooden box.

On performance…. I play city if heroes. Homecoming…,know just officially was given the green light by ncsoft. Its a very old game ran on private servers and saw a huge population jump recently and its performance is far higher than sto.

I had similar thoughts about the employees not really caring at this point. I've seen people who knew their time was coming to an end do some pretty shitty things in their last weeks/days on the job. The inclusion of this premium ship and lack of communication feels exactly like that. As it is, I'll use coupons for a couple of these ships, and spend the zen I'd been saving on a couple of legendary bundles when they come up for sale again.

I only buy whatever I want and never what I don’t. I’ve never boughten any bundle in Star Trek Online at all. I’ve always bought whatever single ship I want and if it’s in a bundle (for example the Odyssey-class Verity-class Variant… I want it only for the console for I prefer the Lexington-class Variant but the rest of the ships in it I feel suck and I don’t want them) I’m not purchasing the bundle whatsoever for one ship. Hence why I want the Inquiry-class in the Legendary Battlecruiser bundle to be available separately. Bundles in my opinion are a serious waste of money especially with inflation in the real world.

I was looking forward to the bundle for the premium ship because i thought for sure it would be something i didnt have that released in those 10 years and it ended up being something i already had lol the adapted destroyer. That was kinda a let down but it also doesnt bother me because there are so many things i havent bought over those 10 years that i was away. I have no shortage of things to spend zen on right now.

The thing is they put out the Alliance Rex and it's really a good ship and I think that set the stage for some pretty big expectations. People thought this Bundle was going to be INSTA-buy considering everything leading up to it. Instead, many feel its mediocre at best if not outdated. I know I was thinking it would be as good as the 13th if not better. I thought it was going to be Borg blended considering the REX being Dominion/Starfleet. I just don't like the idea of getting ships that failed miserably (At Wolf 359) with Updated skins. You can put all the lipstick you want on a pig.......It's still a pig. I know some players think the Rex is just pretty but of no real use. I feel It's better than any ship in the 14th bundle......yes, I said it. I bought it out a day early and I think it's actually worth $30.00. I think it's worthy of being in the C-Store as a single ship, we all know you could do worse than the REX in the C-Store.

Just got the Cheyenne from this bundle and with 7 isomags , one set of elite type 7 shuttles and the elite delta flyers in the other hangar bay. And some of the advanced phasers from the star base. This ship is actually a pretty good one to have. I also armed it with the Maelstrom torpedos. With the delta flyers and their tachyon beams and the type 7 shuttles and its abilities plus the build I have this ship is actually pretty formidable. This bundle is terrible but it also has some really great ships as well and this carrier I like quite a bit. Going to do a build in the checkov soon. It’s worth buying some of these individually as opposed to the bundle

The fluff in the bundle isn't bad, though it definitely would have been better received if the assimilator was an event ship instead of a lockbox or promo ship. The adapted destroyer would be better with the core and console unbound from just adapted ships, and a singularity core was made so romulan ships could use the set. As for the new ships in the bundle, they all look good visually, though i was sad to see the t6 constellation turned into a sci carrier rather than a flight deck.

Honestly, I could care less about the 14th bundle. All I know is that I'm really tired of the gambling aspect of it all. All the ships I want, I can't get and it's really frustrating. I don't have a lot of time to spend in game, and I don't want to spend 100's of dollars in "chances" to get... or in bundles for 1 damn ship. Give me the option to BUY what I want. I don't care if the price is $5-10 more buying it single as opposed to buying it in a pack... I'd just rather have the certainty of getting what I want.

To your point about servers and lag. Gw2 is also an old game built on an engine that needed lots of changes to work properly for it and it doesn't have anywhere near the isses STO has. Same for games like WoW. It is entirely on cryptic for how bad the game runs and refusing to give the coders time and resources to fix issues, not just half ass a "fix" when it gets really bad like it is now.

I am in complete agreement, this is a very contagious issue. But we the consumers are driving this game and we will ultimately have the last say on this latest bundle being a success or bust. It is shame though that with such a broad customer base and following, that they fail to pick up on what their customers want.

I'm not that bothered about it... espcially considering the awesome change they made to the Campaign Event rewards this yeah, to me that's a real gift and I can't wait!! But often, many people who do complain come at it from an entitled mindset where they want what they want, they way they want it, and they want it now. As my main is Borg and my favorite series is TNG and favorite episode is Best of Both Worlds (saw it live when it was new and had to wait all summer for second part). I'm going to cave and get the bundle, I want the extras, I want all the ships even the adapted destroyer and Lafayette (destroyer is the last borg/borg related ship I need and i don't have Lafayette). Although I wish the bundle had a better promo ship or a second one like last year. I've bought the last two anniversary bundles and not regretted it at all. Still gotta eventually get the 10th and 11th, maybe.

as a Lifetimer for this game, My TWO Biggest Complaints are: 1.) NOT ENOUGH SHIP Slots - And Im not talking Dry Dock Slots, those barely help with the problem when you are still locked down with X amount of total inventory slots total. In fact in a lot of ways it can make it worse. Some of us are completionists and would literally buy EvERY Ship in the game, even when you for some reason make 3 ships of the exact same hull instead of making a modular design that allows you to move those slots around... just saying. But no, limit the max numboer of ship slots, but keep expanding dry dock slots. And 2.) The MAX Limit on Bank & Inventory slots. Hey kids, do you like gear? well we'll keep making it so you can get it... only we WONT give you the space to store it all .. *sigh* This makes it impossible to keep and collect sets from every type that you may like. Forcing you to pick and choose along the way. And gods forbid that something in a previous patch somehow become useful now!!! wont have space for it. Only the new hotness... Bonus Thing Upset about: 3.) NO PLAYER HOUSING: This game could 10000% make money and bring people back if they employed a Player Housing set up. Make locations buyable and expand cities. Hell better yet, Make Craftable items in game and tie resources procurement to content and missions, and then make starships into Player Housing and expand what you can decorate. People would SO be down for this in this in thsi game. 4.) I still say that Cryptic/Deca needs to move away from ships as content to story,missions, and questing as content. Keep the people that merely pop in and out for the episodes in the game more. Im willing to bet there are far more players that do that than the ones who play every day chasing dps.

I am a casual player of STO. Bundles look tempting but I am not willing to spend hundreds of dollars on what are essentially "Ship Skins", especially if I can only arguably play one ship at a time per character. Looking back at all the bundles that have popped up on the Z store, the pattern that sticks with me the most is that each bundle only has a few ships, perhaps one or two that really catch my eye (Constellation, Constitution, Matsumoto, the NX refits), the rest of the ships are at best to me classified as "Eh" . Seems to me that STO already has a system set up for upgrading equipment and personnel as you progress though missions, so why not do that with ships? Let's say I have a T-2 or T-3 ship, or a Constellation or Constitution that I really like alot. Why not simply make it so the player keeps that ship and upgrades that specific ship through the whole litany of Tiers? How about just put those ships by themselves on the Z store for purchase, not as bundles, or part of a set, but as individual ships? I'd likely spend actual money if I could get the Constitution Refit or the Constellation in an upgradable Tier state, without having to get an Anniversary Bundle or the Picard Bundle or the First Strike Bundle. Put it this way, if I go and buy a car, I am buying a specific car for my specific interests. I am one driver, and can only drive one vehicle at a time. I have no interest in buy cars that I don't want that I can't drive at the same time, or have features I don't need or want. Either give me what I want, or you lose the whole sale. P.S. If I go through the effort to play the campaigns through to their completion, make the rewards such that I can give that T-6 Premium ship to every character on my account, not just to one character.

Guess it all stems to the fact that a lot of people look forward to the yearly bundles, they have been generally very good and last years was very strong. Than being TNG ships there was a good amount of hype. I think a lot of people wanted to buy the bundle and where hoping for something good to purchase the bundle and instead we get a real stinker of a premium ship instead. That instantly soured the idea of buying the bundle for I would wager the bulk of players looking at it. I'd say its similar to you as going to the store and buying bread at a discount and they throw in a kicker of a moldy loaf of bread ontop of your discount. Like sure its all still discounted but wanting to give people garbage as a thanks for buying it all is gonna be a smack to a lot of ppl that they won't just shrug off

Honestly, if I had the money, I don't know if I would. If it weren't for the fact that some of these bundles have exclusives that aren't in the lobi store, I wouldn't bother. I also want to point out that these bundles cost almost as much as a lifetime subscription that's 50% off. I really do love this game but I'm disabled and I just can't afford one of those. It's really nice that there are a certain amount of players that will buy these things but in truth be told I just can't afford that kind of decadence.

I’m getting tired of the T6 coupons. I have 15 bound to me, have the zen store bought out, and they don’t just add ships without a bundle with exclusives. I just wish they would listen to the players far more than turn snippy for deserved negative reactions to their (developers) choices. I mean, STO isn’t known for gaining players in bulk at this point…. It’s seasoned players who have been around for a long time. Listen to them, you know?

So I doubt Cryptic will see this, but I'm going to post it in multiple places. Up until the announcement of the Tal Shiar Adapted destroyer, I had planned to buy this bundle on Day One. But between an inferior promo ship, the Lafayette which I already own, and only 2 of the new ships (maybe three, I'll have to see more of the Chekov) bringing interesting things to the game, this bundle will likely be a hard pass for me. I'll use the T6 coupons I have stockpiled to get the new ships that look interesting, and put no Zen into this bundle.

I agree, why to do not invent a new ships. Like completely new borg ships. Not a massive ones but like sphere and advanced assimilated redesigned cool , like, legendary ships. I am pretty sure that Star Trek players be happy play as a borg, having borg Starbases , super borg advanced ships. I do play Star Trek long time and it's really need something epic, something advanced....and the first step, I assume, could be a borg race and everything with that...🤔

I think I've reached the point where I just would like to see more build options. I don't think there's much to choose from, and trying to be adventurous usually requires gambling (which I oppose). I'm pretty much "set for life" since I whaled for C-Store ships a long time ago, but I just want more options, and I am willing to purchase bundles that would allow that. This one just gives me nothing. I want to build fun unique ships, but it's incredibly difficult to do so with crap bundles like this.

They've tested the idea many times over the years and never found it to be a fun experience. The game is not built for it. See. Star Trek Legacy for a game where you can have a cube. It's not that fun either. The allure is in the initial novelty, not the real gameplay potential.

I don't give Cryptic money anymore. So the only Zen I get is from my LTS Stipend. It's at 7,500 right now so I'm not buying this bundle anyway. Even if I had the Zen these ships don't really interest me. Most of my characters have been in the same ships with the same equipment and same powers for years.

Of course it's not a big deal, it's an in-game purchase. But having said that, while I don't disagree that they can't keep one-upping the prior year, I feel like this year they just kind of ran out of time/steam before the anniversary hit. Which would be fine, if they'd just admit it. There were other ships they could have included... heck they could have at least put in both assimilated romulan ships so people who did want to make a theme build could have all the consoles. They could've just not included the random old ships, and just sell it at a lower price, which I doubt anyone would've complained about.

Hold up. I just have to ask the question about the monetization in VIDEO GAMES! As of this writing on my PS4, I've purchased 2 ships with US Dollars which is not meta to the STO community but I loved my ships. The Legendary Standard Bundle is at $*19,500 Zen and the Premium Lego is at $29250* Zen. With this PS4 sale, I have to buy the 5300 Zen (discounted) at $39.99 (6) times which equals $239.94!!!???? Who is Cryptic marketing towards??? The STO Content Creators???? Am I insane?? This is an absurd amount of real life money that you could spend on food or any other necessity 😬😮‍💨

But its kinda the model of cryptic they went with bundles and lockboxes and creating artificial scarcely gambling. You can say you want to play in the mud and then complain you will get dirty. The per ships are not always that valuable because some people have t3 and t6 ships already. If I got it, I only got 4 ships' new ships as i got all the t6 ship in the store and the tal shair ships t3 and Lafayette. So, value is subjective, too. But we need a better CM. He hates us and his job.

Technically speaking yes, the anniversary bundle is something of a big deal, it's supposed to be the big celebration of the game for that year. The year long event campaign people tend to talk about more over time because of the rewards being more "premium" but that anniv bundle is that.. big single moment. A lot of the unhappiness with the state of the game *has* been growing slowly over the last month or so, indeed because of the unhappiness with server performance, some people are unhappy with the liberties that were taken wtih the ships in the Wolf 359 line up and the attitude that was given around the choices. Too many little things gather up to pop off when that one catalyst like that destroyer being in the bundle let it out in mass eruption. It is fair to say though, some of the traits and consoles look good, maybe even meta, but there was too much swirling tension around it. The customer base gets needled and needled till they snap.. even if it's something X person may think is "minor" in their opinion, but that is not shared by everyone, and never will be.

Well people have been asking for a T6 Constellation/Cheyenne for how long? Oh this bundle has it. It's worse than the T5 counter parts. That is a big middle finger to the players. And down right insulting. I was so looking forward to the new Niagara Class. Then I saw it's stats and was like WTF? So unless Cryptic is advertising their IQ level. 1.05 doesn't cut it. And is very very old school. A shield mod of 1.2 isn't worth it at this point. The problem is Cryptic Studios. If they get removed from the equation. Then the game has a chance for a very extended life. If the dev's have one foot out the door. They have no one to blame but themselves. If you do a shit job with your product. Your whole body should be out the door. Their support team included.

I have not bought any bundles except for the Picard bundle that brought back the Thompson SMG that I missed out on. I have no interest in the ship bundles they've released in recent months, they don't have anything I want that my collection of ships can already do or are visually appealing. I have a "meh" reaction to those bundles; not excited, not angry, just "meh, I can't be bothered to care"

The reason i am so disappointed is because the bundle theme is broken by the premium ship choice. I was expecting all of the ships to be Wolf 359 variants. The romulans werent even involved in this battle. Its a big disconnect from the star trek universe and it gives the impression that the individuals making the decisions do not care enough to put more thought into this bundle. This is the first time in a few years that i had a little extra money to spend on zen during the balck friday special with the sole intention of purchasing this bundle. So I feel swindled out of money.

The worst problem with STO is that for mqny of us the game has become unplayable since the NOvember 21st patch. The lag and rubberbanding is so bad that I could not complete the winter event. I managed to complete the anniversary event but it was painful. In the last two days I was basically a spectator in Guillotine because the screen kept freezing or my ship jumping bakwards... I have spent way too much money on this game and the server and lag issues will have to be solved before I spent more money on it ever again.

Cryptic has always had this problem. They make a mistake, even a small one and then they miss the easy PR win of fixing it quickly and loudly. Ive played the game since it was a pay to play MMO, and theyve always done it. The bundle is meh. Some good ships, some bad, some neat exclusives, but nothing thats gonna make people buy it. The TSAD inclusion was a huge miss when they could have had an easy lay up shot to get people interested. Nevermind the missed chance of the Melbourn-type Nebula or Freedom-class. Then they just shut up, with no stream to hype it up. Not even a half-assed excuse tweet. A bunch of easy avoidable mistakes, with easy fixes that could make people happy, or atleast less upset. But they dont bother. Im probably one of the few people that this bundle, even with the TSAD included (a ship I care zero about as a person who doesnt fly anything but Fed ships) that this bundle makes sense for because I dont have the Lafayette-class either, so Id get 5 new-to-me ships (and a T3 skin) and a coupon for a 6th... I even want the exclusives for a borg themed character I have... and the TSAD just disappoints me enough to not want to support that sort of thoughtless inclusion. Like why?

Hi, as a player that only barely spent any money on this game, and was free-to-play for a long while, I can tell you it's definitely worth it to try it out. I'd actually recommend you start today, as the Klingon recruitment campaign begins in about seven hours, and will give you a free T6 ship. The people spending ungodly amounts of money on this game are usually either playing dress-up with their space-barbies, or trying to eke out far more DPS from their builds than the game is balanced around. You can have lots of fun with a functional, but not META, build using mission rewards, crafted and fleet equipment, allowing you to enjoy all the content of the game.
