My husband had a Maine Coon before we got married. She was the nastiest thing (her name was Grendel) to everyone except myself and my husband. My husband's friends were petrified of her. When I was getting ready for work in the morning, she would sit on the toilet seat watching everything. When I blew dry my hair, she would grab my arm and want the air to blow on her. When I would soak in the tub, she would always be right there lying on the bathroom rug. She would just chat away with me, answering me when I asked how her day was. I would always sing a silly song I made up about her, and she would stand on her back legs to get some pets while I sang it to her. She passed away several years ago, and I miss her so much❤️I miss seeing her sweet little face💖looking up from the bathroom rug.

@@samlsd9711 People who aren't attached to their pets are the abnormal ones. I spend far more time with my sweet dog and three adorable cats than I do my friends or other relatives. Heck, I spend more time with my pets than I do my husband because he works outside the home, and I work inside our home, so I'm always with them. Of course you get attached. They're cuddly and sweet and make you laugh with their adorable antics. My parents had kids and they were still extremely attached to their pets all the years I was growing up. It's abnormal NOT to love your pets. In fact, I don't trust ANYONE that doesn't like animals. I instantly wonder if they're a psychopath or secret serial killer because that is not normal healthy behavior.

@@paruhblgen4222 I don’t know how you have come to that conclusion. These cats act happy and appear well socialized. Every video I’ve seen has their cage open so they can come and go. They have had that cage since they were babies and were caged at times for their own safety. This owner doesn’t appear to be the kind to keep their babies caged…or else they are extraordinary actors.

My kit, Cinnamin (not Cinnamon) was a short hair Tabby, and she would play with her toys in my bedroom for hours at night when I was sleeping. Sometimes in the morning 5 or 6 toys would be lined up in a row like toys soldiers being presented to me. I would always grin when I would see this because I knew later on there would be no sign of those toys unless I tore the apartment apart and I might find 2 or 3. Then another day there would be two or three, or her favourite a bird toy stuffed with catnip covered in gob awaiting my feet in my slippers. She liked funny little jokes like tapping my head when playing while she laughed at getting the better of me. Remembering these little times brings tears. She has been gone about three years now. Her and our Moo Moo boy. He was a very large Tom with a colour pattern of a Jersey cow with black and white spots, with long Persian fur. He was a very masculine type of fellow. Both lived with us for around 17 years. I wish it had been longer.

I used to have a cat named Linus who loved water. When I would shower, I had to open the sliding glass shower door in the front (“front” indicates the wall where the shower head was located). He’d walk in and sit on the tile floor of the shower, a little bit of spray bouncing up at him. He’d also deliberately walk (not run) through lawn sprinklers.
