Garcelle was on the show like 2 whole seasons and she even stepped back and made comments that it was the core team that were the real groundbreakers and she was just happy she got to come along for the ride at the end. She made it clear she felt this was a celebration more for Jeanie, Adrienne, Lonnie and The REAL fans. I thought that was really classy and self-aware.

Amanda needs to understand that being the " real one" in the industry means alot of producers won't like her. She consistently tells stories of her calling out " industry people " and then get mad when people don't want to invite her in....literally. because this happened with the case of insecure as well. And yes its wrong, but it's almost like Amanda wants to be called these people, and these establishments out ,but then also wants to be invited to their "cookout" as well. She has to understand it can't be both. She's like looking for hollywood acceptance, and for whatever reason it's not working for her.

Let’s hypothetically imagine The Real did feature her in their last episode. This would be Amanda’s reaction: “Why the **** are they featuring me? I don’t get down with The Real! If they felt that way they should have reached out to her basically stating we have not always seen eye to eye but are doing our fair well episode and were going to add you to it but wanted to know how you felt about that first. If she said don’t put me in your isht then came out and played victim they could have dropped the email that it was at her request. If she said yes and then came out that they were using her time their to exploit her for ratings blah blah blah they could again drop the email that she approved so again it’s all bs. If you didn't like being there why should they acknowledge you? She was racially intelligent for the black community and really brought the radical side of racial inequality and prejudice that the other hosts softly go over to appease the producers ofc. So her dynamic was that she was radical v the moderate energy on the show. They all mostly played middle ground/devil advocate for most conversations that were racial, anything about women they were much more vocal on. Amanda is radical in her position on the show while she was there; but a lot of soft spoken individuals much like majority of the audience and fans of the show dont like a radical speaker cause “they cause problems”. That’s the point; thats her point. But i get both sides, most people just cant handle the dynamic of anyone bluntly vocal. That’s why i love her so much! I didnt at first until i realized how vocal i was in her manner i just hid from being radical; she inspires alot of young black women who want to be radical to not be scared to be so. Sad that most women are timid to this mannerism and way of communication

She’s fair to feel she isn’t appreciated for what she does and speaks; as well as not being included in the final episode bc alot of her newer fans came from The Real anyways. There’s never a wrong or right time to be your honest self anywhere, but you are right! They ran the show how they wanted to and thats why she left in the first place. But the show is no different than The View and they’ve been hit with controversy for years. As a black woman theres never a right or wrong place to talk about anything. If you say the show wasn't good for your spirit, then stay away. That's probably the same thought process the producers had. If the environment was so bad, why go back at all.

So what the hell is she complaining about she was there 1 season because she didn’t like how production was doing things and now she upsets that they didn’t include her in the last episode when she didn’t contribute shit to the show and if they did include her in the last episode I bet she would have been doing what she doing right now and complaining and then how u gonna drag the show on ur ig and expect them to include you when y’all clearly had a problem she clearly thinks just cuz she get in something for like 1 season or a episode she think she should be involved or invited places I heard she got kicked out a event because she had a problem with Isa Rae or somebody

I’m not gonna lie and I could be wrong but when she said she spoke with Jeannie and Adrienne and they thought it was BS and they were all going to do a live together but basically couldn’t get their schedules together my initial thought was they don’t want to get caught up in whatever she has going on. Because realistically speaking if they felt that what happened to her was wrong and they wanted to speak out about it make a brief statement or whatever attesting to that fact those two could have done so. They could have each put out their own video speaking on it or they could have used an image with all them together on the Real Set with a caption stating that sentiment. There were so many ways that women who have been doing so this style of media for years have to get their voice out that I don’t know if I’m fully buying the “our schedules didn’t line up” shtick.

She is the problem, I remember her saying she had problems with Issa Rae and she was kicked out of a Black Party. It seems to be everyone else’s fault but hers. Just take the L and move on. You don’t get mentions unless you talk trash about others. Should say something about you.

They’re not dumb. They knew fans and Amanda would run her mouth and make a big to do about being excluded! Free promo for the finale. And I ain’t mad. She was the worst cohost on the show, guest cohosts included, and just walked around with a chip on her shoulder. Reality check.

I see a comment section full of haters. She explained how she was treated and why she left. And she only called out her leadership for the wrong that they did. Tamar was fired and she got recognized so they could have recognized Amanda as well. I love all 7 ladies and would have liked to see all 7 for the finale.

Tamar was integral to the show, she was there from the jump ans heavily contributed to the popularity of the show. She was also a fan favorite. I am all for people speaking there truth, but there is a way to do it. Amanda's presence on the show drastically changed the mood and not for the better. She did not leave that show better than she met it, unlike most of the other hosts including Tamar. Even speaking on it now seems like a attention grab. She is an intelligent and beautiful woman, but she needs to do some self reflection. Not everyone is out to get her.

When everyone is ok with attacking someone's character, because you can't take them as a person. Come on now that's hating. She has done nothing negative to none of her cohosts. She's just speaking her mind which is what she was payed to do. She has a right to speak on her working conditions if she feels they aren't right. Just like anybody else.

@@davonchill2akory224 in this world everybody is not going to like you and you're not going to like everybody. She seems unable to accept that and continue living so instead she'll make up a story about why she was left out. Discernment is being able to think critically and say if she's told this story twice with the same passion and it came out twice that she was lying what are the odds she's lying now? Discernment is being able to say if she's had an issue at every work place, which she has admitted to, maybe its her. Discernment is recognizing that everytime people associated with her are celebrating their accomplishments amanda will come and try to bring it down, Black Oscar Party x2, Insecure, and now the Real. I'm not sure why some people refuse to think for themselves.

This comment section is evident that black women are never heard and there’s always a “justification” on why society does this and that to disrespect a black women! I don’t care how long Amanda was on the show and what was said she was a host period and she should have been acknowledged as one! The real didn’t have a good relationship with Tamar but she was included … so what’s the difference?!? The real was whack for their actions!

IMO A.Seales carries blackness as a chip on her shoulder. Fighting for blackness doesn't mean you fight and burn the whole forest including the 🌺 and everything good. She is very intellectually engaging but can come off as aggressive and angry. She just needs to own her words & space and learn to relax in who she is and what she believes in without burning entire buildings. That smoke will age her quickly and she is too beautiful for that.

Why does it matter like Amanda didn’t like half of what was being talked about the show. Had a problem cuz one the segment or games that was played on the show that Amanda created was produced by a white women and not one of the black producers on the show and she complained about that. Like if you want to talk about the problems in black culture or society and the world itself then “the real wasn’t for you”. So stop making a big deal cuz you wasn’t included like why would “ the real” involve you if you had issues with some of the producers, you didn’t like have of the segments, and you didn’t like what was being discussed because you felt it was below you. So move on

The show ended, everyone that contributed to the show's success should've been included or mentioned, no matter if someone left or not. It only shows what Amanda said about the show, her being shut down on opinions is/was true. The final days of the show should've been called not The Real but, The Un-Real. Good riddance.
