I want to share about my near-death-experience together with my deceased daughter. It's a NDE story about the way our lives are judged and measured and analyzed by ETERNITY. It's about the strength of forgiveness that can change everything for the better, even on the other side. It's a story of hope and blessings to everyone who is looking for a PROOF OF ETERNITY, and that's the title of my book PROOF OF ETERNITY by Alba Monn. It's a story of hope and blessings to everyone who is mourning about the loss of a loved one, especially for parents who have lost their own children. I came to testify that ETERNITY is a fact, that our loved ones live on on the other side, that they want for us to be comforted and completely consoled by the truth, because the truth will set you free. Blessings

What a beautiful explanation of the Nativity story. As a Catholic, I have a great veneration for St Joseph, the Heart of Compassion. God the Father chose the foster father of Jesus our Lord so well. I know you are Protestant, but I want to witness here of the powerful intercession of St Joseph. Thank you Reverend for your wonderful Bible teachings. They have helped me and I know they will help others And may St Joseph, together with Blessed Mary, continue to intercede for precious Eva Joy. After believing in the 'new' testament for over 20 years God opened my eyes and i got out of that idol worship. I had Christian friends when I was still a Christian too. Now they say I have the antichrist spirit and will be thrown into the lake of fire together with the devil and his angels to burn forever. Ofcourse I got out of Christianity because I want to love and serve God of my own free will, not out of fear. I no longer hide behind Jesus for my sins. I take responsibility for my own life now and trust in God. He knows what he's doing. Thank You Lord!

I love the part about the societal implications of putting Mary away quietly-I never thought about that before. I had, of course, thought about the implications for continuing on with the marriage-obviously everyone would assume it was his child. But I never thought about what assumptions people might make about him divorcing her quietly (choosing not to shame her, yet also not marrying her). Interesting.

There were 2 family trees, one in Matthew and one in Luke. The Matthew genealogy starts with Abraham to David to Solomon, the Kings side. The Luke tree starts with Adam to David but not solomon. This is Joseph family tree, the common man. In Matthew, it was Mary family tree. It just so happens that Mary father was named Joseph also. But the Bible had a safety feature in that it included the numbers of men from Abraham to Jesus in 3 sets of 14 generations If you read,”Joseph, the husband of Mary.” You had only 13 men from Babylon to Jesus. It should reas,”Joseph, the father of Mary and then, Jesus. Mary was included as prophesied in Genesis 3:15 on “her seed”

I can't believe I just learned this year from a random video I can no longer find that Mary and Joseph were already in Bethlehem when the time came for Jesus to be born. And its right in the book of Luke! I wonder what else have I misunderstood simply because of the way I always heard it taught? I didn't notice until recently that the genealogy differs either; I think that one is meant to follow Joseph and the other Mary, maybe?
@noradorsey69013 жыл бұрын
Brandon would know this better than I do, but I believe the genealogy in Matthew is Joseph's and the one in Luke's is Mary's. I took a class a long time ago, but the genealogy in Luke used feminine wording (pronouns). The genealogies are from same line in the beginning, but after Solomon their genealogies diverged. We looked through this in our class, like I said a very long time ago; hard to remember all the stuff we covered. Brandon would be able to clarify better than my old brain 😁

My counselor told my older sister that the pastor that leads the tour of Israel I hope to go on thinks that what happened was the Bible says the shepherds were out in the fields watching their flock by night but that's not something they would normally do because of animals that would want to go after the sheep. Usually they would have the sheep in a cave and the shepherds would stand at the mouth of the cave but because there was no room for Mary and Joseph they were looking for shelter, found the shepherds' cave and the shepherds let them have it which is why they were the fields and why they knew where to go after the angel told them about the birth of Jesus. What do you think about this (I'm not going to argue with him if I go on the tour and he mentions this I'm just curious what you think)?

Just think of Adam when he had to make a big decision about eating the fruit or not. What went through his mind, the sinless and very intelligent first man? Most of us are taught that he didn't think about it at all but just obeyed Eve instead of God. I think he thought about it a lot and considered the situation that Eve had just fallen into. He sacrificed his perfect life to be with her. Jesus is referred to as the second Adam.

Here's a comment I saw on another video about how the Bible "contradicts" itself when it comes to the birth of Jesus and I want to know what you think (the following is how the person who wrote the comment worded things): 1 Matthew story had Jesus being born in or before 3 BCE-Luke's story had Jesus being born in 6 CE or later 2 Matthew's story had Mary and Joseph go from Bethlehem with Jesus to Egypt for 2 years then go to Nazareth-Luke's story had them go from Nazareth to Bethlehem then 41 days after Jesus' birth going back to Nazareth. 3 Mathhews story had 3 wise men (the Magi) and Luke's story had no wise men (Magi) in it (my response was Matthew actually doesn't say how many Magi and as to Luke not mentioning them I pointed out that could do with the fact the gospels were written with different people and purpose in mind ). 4 Matthew story had an angel warning them (Joseph's dream) about Herod the great to go hide in Egypt 2 years after Jesus was born-Luke's story had no mention of Herod the great at all-maybe since when Jesus was born in Luke's story Herod had been dead for at least 5 years. (Note there's no records of Herod the great having all the children 2 or under put to death and his life is well documented and something like this would have been recorded. The fact is there is no recording of this event ever happening except in the gospel of Matthew). 5 Matthew story has no mention of the census of Caesar August while Quirinious was governor of Syria (6 CE to 9 CE) as Luke's story does (my Bible's footnote has a possible explanation but I'm curious what you think). We have some contradictions here first contradiction-When was Jesus born? in Matthews story he would have had to be born no later than 3 BC and in Luke's story no earlier than 6 CE. That is a minimum of 7 years difference (they didn't have a zero year). Second contradiction-In Matthews story they went from living in Bethlehem to Egypt for 2 years before going to Nazareth, and in Luke's story they went from living in Nazareth to Bethlehem (for the census) then back to Nazareth 41 days after Jesus' birth (I admit I don't get that one because unless Mary and Joseph went back to Bethlehem two years after Jesus' birth it seems like it should say they went back to the house they were staying at in Bethlehem). the 3rd contradiction-In Matthews story Jesus was born in a house (they lived in Bethlehem) and in Luke's story Jesus was born in a manger (they lived in Nazareth but went to Bethlehem for the census). Another problem with Mathews story is the wise men (Magi) were from the east meaning Bethlehem was to their west. but the story has the wise men (Magi) following a star in the east, which of course would be taking them in the wrong direction if they followed it. Note, I once had an apologist tell me the wise man followed the star to the east when they left Herod the great in Jerusalem and went to Bethlehem, but Bethlehem is almost directly North of Jerusalem, so they would be going North, not east when they left Herod the great. In Matthew's story Jesus would have had to be born no later than 3 BC since they had to stay in Egypt for 2 years until the death of Herod the great who died no later than 1 BC (we know it was Herod the great who died no later than 1 BC because his son Archelaus took over reigning in Judah which is the reason Matthews story they went to Nazareth. He became governor when Caesar Augusta order the census in 6CE) Side note, in Matthew's story an angle (I'm assuming he/she meant to write angel) in a vision(dream) warned Joseph & Mary not to go back to their home in Bethlehem because now one of Herod the great sons was in charge there and this would be dangerous for them to go to a place where one of Herod the greats son was ruling. The problem with this story is at the same time one of Herod's sons was ruling over the area of Bethlehem another one of Herod's sons was ruling over the area of Nazareth. So if it was dangerous for Joseph, Mary & Jesus to go to an are where one of Herod's sons was ruling then Nazareth should have also been dangerous for them to go.
@BrandonRobbinsMinistry2 жыл бұрын
In general, my thought is that what they call contradictions are simply differences in the gospels. The events don't necessarily contradict each other. Matthew and Luke are just recording different things for different purposes. Also, I'm not sure what her references are for some of her facts (e.g. the differences in the dating of Jesus' birth in the 2 gospels)

Marriage is arranged by two families of same tribe like Judah in Jesus case. Mary and Joseph first marriage ceremony was when they were just kids. On Mary first period on December 5, 4 BC, it was the time that Gabriel archangel appeared to her. The next day, she went to Elizabeth for 3 months until John was born on Nisan 1, 3 BC. It was the time of Mary and Joseph 3rd marriage, usually on the night after the Sabbath just like at Cana. That means that their 2nd marriage was at Nisan 4 BC where the husband Joseph will start building their house. Israel kings were born Tishri month and marriage were held Nisan 1 to avoid the unlikely Messiah. 40 weeks after December 5th is September 11, 3 BC, the birth of Jesus on Tishri 1, 6 months after the birth of John the Baptist

Had he not been true to the spirit of the law then he would not be called righteous. Joseph was a man of God, as was Mary. It is revealed in the prayer of Mary how awesome in God she was in the covenant. Joseph, who gets overlooked, as is common in much of western religion, which diminishes the respect and integrity of men in order to lift up women, was not rigid in righteousness. He gave mercy, as Jesus His adopted son said, "but had you known what this meant, I desire mercy and not sacrifice"... So Joseph was performing the law unto Mary. that Scripture which Jesus mentions, I would have mercy and not sacrifice, also has a part to it that elevates the knowledge of God more than anything. Joseph was giving mercy and in giving mercy instead of condemnation, Joseph shows that he understands the nature of Holy God, far greater than the pharisee's who tried to use the law rather then living the spirit of the law.

Ok, now you show yourself to be a spiritual predator! I came across one of your videos randomly and was quite impressed at your teaching ability and Bible knowledge. I subscribed. Now I note you are using strong emotional tones and non verbal communications to suck people into a fantasy. Yes, Jesus is the only salvation and believing provides coping. What I take issue with is God has provided the Holy Ghost to move people as and when needed. Man taking on this role motivating people interferes, corrupts and in the long run helps Satin. I would like to discuss this further.

Joseph never named Him Jesus, that is a name changed to hide His real name. YAHSHUA bears the Father's name: YAHWEH, and Shua means Salvation. Our Savior is the Gift of the Father, our Salvation. That is the closest to the Name above all names. Also study how Constantine perverted truth, and the J letter didn't even exist in Yeshua's time!

Two different stories that do not square with each other. Mary and Joseph live in Bethlehem in Matthew. In Luke they live in Nazareth. Both Matthew and Luke originally began with the story of John the Baptist in Ch 3. The first 2 chapters were added later, the stories are made up.
@kimfleury3 жыл бұрын
They didn't live in Bethlehem, they _went_ to Bethlehem to register for the census of Caesar. That's what Matthew's Gospel says. Then they fled to escape the slaughter of the baby boys. They took refuge in Egypt until the Angel told them to return to Israel. Upon returning, they settled in Nazareth. There's no more inconsistency in that than if I were to speak of having lived in several places at various times.
@paulmuhle58403 жыл бұрын
@@kimfleury You are confusing Luke with Matthew. In Matthew Mary and Joseph live in Bethlehem, read the story! In Luke they live in Nazareth and go to Bethlehem on account of a census more than likely took place in 6 CE. As a Biblical scholar I am amazed that people think they know the Bible but actually do not.

@@paulmuhle5840 Matthew does not say they lived in Bethlehem, it says that they were in Bethlehem when Jesus was born. Matthew and Luke both say they went back to Nazareth after Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

Did you read the Greek?

Uh, Paul, in Matthew it says only that Jesus was born in Bethlehem. It does not say the family lived there. Luke tells us that they lived in Nazareth but traveled to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born. I'm always surprised at how many "Bible scholars" think they know the Bible, but don't, not even the incredibly basic, incredibly simple parts. How can you not understand this? Why do you call yourself a "scholar"? Just read the story. Don't add things that you want it to say, but it doesn't say.

Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus. What does Santa and tree has to do anything with Jesus ? This is horrible that whole world celebrating devil in the name of Christmas. 25 Dec is the day when tamuz ( son of baal) was born. Christmas is pagan.

Someone was born every day of the year. That doesn't mean Jesus couldn't be born the same day. It's not like there's some historically competing day for the honor of the birth of Christ. December 25 is all we have, and it's very old. Also, Santa is for kids. Adults don't celebrate Christmas with stories of Santa Claus. Lots of people who aren't religious at all celebrate Christmas because it's beautiful. For Christians, Christmas is all about Christ, and love for our family, friends, and even strangers. People are most generous around Christmas time. Merry Christmas to you!

@@brianmoore581 hey Brian, if u go back straight in history. This exact day was celebrated as the birthday of "Tamuz" ( son of nemrod/baal ). Over a time they jus renamed it as Christmas and so the character. If the whole world is celebrating then that's the alarm - I am not doing it.
