Well said! This attitude of “it’s not my job” will end up being “well it’s not your paycheck either then” Good luck to those that don’t see that.

Keep the clients that value your integrity, and craft and let the others suffer with the "competition". The market will ultimately decide who wins. Best of luck to you.

I think this video brings a lot of value to the transactional generation. Like that saying which I am about to butcher...People don't remember what you did, they remember how you made them feel. Good job Dude!

Thanks brother! Transactional generation is a great way to say that…heck, I probably could’ve made the video only half the length but still as effective had I used that term. 😅

There have always been, and will always be, clients that seek out service and those that seek out price. Pick a lane that works for you and own it. Life is too short to worry about those that are not ever going to be your clients.

Completely agree. Raising your prices is a good way to separate the two

Boomer lol j/k I'm gen x too. just started in the field 2 years ago. I started with drones and working my way to do interiors as well. I love the work but its few and far between. I still work a 9-5 as well. Customer service is huge and now days seems like a lost art for most. Focusing on relationships if feel (agree with you) is the best way to grow your business. Great video!

Thanks! It really does seem like many of the young folks while in their teen years never answered a phone or jocked a cash register anywhere, and it shows. Jobs like that will grow you up pretty quickly.

Do you think Real estate photography will ever cease to exist?
@loudandclearmedia10 ай бұрын
If it does cease to exist, it’ll start at the bottom rungs. I believe there will always be a market with top producing agents hiring professional photographers as they lack the time and skill to do it themselves. Our job, in that landscape, is to amalgamate our skill set to include the new tech while doubling down on being a valuable member of the agents team, not just a dude with a camera.

The beginning of the end are vertical videos and a barrage of other unnecessary "add-ons", shooting like a clueless tourist because some dingleberry with unwarranted power and influence thought it would be a great idea to compromise the integrity of real estate photography. Clowns that wouldn't know an f-stop from a bus stop. This is entirely the wrong demographic geared at TikTok and Instagram, last I checked most 7 - 22-year-olds aren't buying houses! I am pleased to say, I have never shot one of these and never will. Rather, I steer the client to the professionalism of a proper wide-angle lens that real estate photography demands. One day because of the way of this decaying world, real estate photography will cease to exist as will everything. It will give way to camera phones and will all be shot vertically by a clueless society.

This whole Video was just an opportunity for this dude to bloviate about how great he is. I agree customer service is important as well as developing relationships with Clients but this dude just kept going back to how great HE is. Usually love your content my guy, but this one is a bit narcissistic.
@loudandclearmedia10 ай бұрын
Yes, that was done on purpose, as it was intended to exemplify a dichotomy of personalities that are currently in our industry. You'll notice I also went to great lengths to describe the buffoonery that the other, newer, younger, more transactional photographers all to often are about. To make that contrast effective, this story needs a hero. If you knew me personally, you'd know that I'm about as opposite of narcissist as it gets. But hey, thanks for usually liking my content anyway I guess. 😆😆🍻🍻
