I'm definitely impressed with not only how smart she was, but how well she was able to explain concepts so simply and easy to understand. You can definitely feel how much she loves to drift!

I don't get what's so scary, there's professional drivers, safety belts, helmets, roll cages, there's literally 0.000001% chance of anything happening, even if it catches fire those quick release harnesses will get you out in no time

Its easy money and if you don't take the shot, i'll say its an irrational fear because the chance of you actually dying is so low. See the problem yet? You approach fear with a personnal bias and even try to put an emphasis on logic and rationality when the notion of fear itself is BASED off irrationality. If someone put a hunstman spider on you, despite the fact that it won't attack yhou at all, would probably result in you crying while spider fanatic tryna not laught at your expense.

When she was in the car screaming reminded me of years ago I dated a guy who drove like that. We would be driving down the street and he would suddenly take my hand kiss it and hold it. It was his way of telling me not to freak out. I would think no, no, nooo! And then aarrghhh!!! Death is comin!!!

my friend drifted and i was at the passenger's seat and it was really scary. you're consonantly getting swung left to right and i can still remember the sound of the car during the drift. mad respect to her for giving it a shot.

This is so awesome as you don't see that many female drivers even in NASCAR. The fact Japan has it's own Danica Patrick but a Drifter is kind of awesome. But I love the fact the sport is getting a lot more recognition now. I've been following it a lot on the D1 circuit. Which gets me pretty pumped for the NASCAR season. But this was really interesting interview. Great seeing Asian Boss doing more of these types of Stories. Reminds me of what the BBC used to do. :b
