I have had good experiences with Ghanaians and money. On several occasions, I have either unknowingly dropped or had money fall out of my pocket, even large amounts after having making an ATM withdrawal. People would come running behind me, alerting me to the fact that I had dropped money, and if they had picked it up, would hand over the money to me. Also, I have seen a few men roughed-up by locals for stealing, or attempting to steal. I have also had great experiences with the young kids whom I send to the store or food stand to purchase something for me. They have never run off with my money.

Set up a small kiosk, cook out of our home and away you go! But there is absolutely no way we could ever pull that off here. The city officials would be here in 15 minutes to shut that down.

Most of the expat videos, they just sit down and talk, crappy audio, out of focus cameras, no story, nothing planned out etcetera. I think Ayo has been trained in method acting. She has so many faces. It sounds like you live in LA all except for the slow part. When I hire a contractor, I know I am getting ripped off. We have gangs of robbers now. Tony made a comment about the different colours mourners wore when he went to a funeral in Kumasi. The colours they wear signifies something. It would have been better if he had asked his host so they could explain to him the significance of those colours. The black colour is worn before and during the interment of the departed one to signify mourning and sadness of losing the dead person. Immedistely after the burial they wear red to signify anger against death for taking the life of the loved one. Among Akans death is seen as a spirit that takes life away so they wear red to signify anger against the spirit of death. When they perform the funeral people from far and near who know or related to the departed who attend the funeral are given thanks by the family, and they wear white for the next day after the burial and funeral for thanksgiving. Sometimes this is done in a church to thank God for the life lived by the dead person. The wearing of these different colours sometimes depend on the age of the departed one. If the departed lived their God given life till say 100yrs and more, then they wear white throughout the funeral stages
