Thanks again. I'll add no. 8: Don't go to Ghana with a superiority attitude! Every culture has good and bad things. Having the humility to understand why people do what they do and being willing to listen and learn will take you far. A western, know-it-all attitude will impede your progress and guarantee your quick return to America.

@Deshone Robinson "Each one teach one" I appreciate the comment, however, notice I said the West which includes the Caribbean, not just the USA. The slaves brought to the USA from Africa was a small minority, whereas the majority of 'people of color' living in the Americas are descendants of Aborigines that were here before August 1619 and 1492.

I feel like Black Americans that are moving to ghana should *create* a business because there is not a lot of jobs in Africa. People who are leaving the U.S. for Africa definitely need to come with a *business mindset* if you don't have any business ideas well then *stay* in the U.S. and its cheaper to start a business in ghana compared to the U.S. because if blk Americans come to ghana taking all of the jobs their will be issues with Ghanaians/Africans they are gonna demand that these blk Americans go home because they are taking all of the jobs so *create* business. *Do not come to Africa looking for a job.*

@TyroneBlackman74 жыл бұрын
@Deshone Robinson Man, I don't know why you don't create your own channel and focus on your ethnicity instead of trying to tell Africans they are not. I can respect you if you did, but man you're on every conceivable channel for Africans and the African diaspora. SMH.
@TyroneBlackman74 жыл бұрын
@Deshone Robinson I understand. However, you stated the African diaspora is a false concept. That statement in itself is false. I see you on all the channel s where the African diaspora is being discussed. Why don't you create a channel on the "Native Black American" and provide compelling arguments to attract subscribers to your channel as opposed to going "evangelical" on these channels. Are you Deshone Robinson saying to me that Africans are not your ancestors? I look forward to your cordial reply.
@TyroneBlackman74 жыл бұрын
@Deshone Robinson One question...how did you get a British name? I would gladly pay for a DNA test for you to dispel your myth, do you agree?
@TyroneBlackman74 жыл бұрын
@Deshone Robinson You are living in denial. I pity you. Being colonized by the Brits doesn't give you your name. Either an enslaver gave it to you, a Brit male married into your lineage, or it was purposely changed by you or an ancestor. Listen up, my daughter and I did DNA tests using fake names and different addresses and the results showed she was my daughter. How could that be fake? Brother you are tripping and living in denial. DNA will not tell you the complete story but it will tell part of it. What are you afraid of? Most melanated people on the earth are mixed in some form or the other. Man up and take a DNA for the fun of it. No need to worry, as per you it's entertainment.
@TyroneBlackman74 жыл бұрын
@Deshone Robinson That's Ancestry DNA test that we used. See how you're in DENIAL. Tribes are a thing of the past, most tribes mixed with each other especially during the colonial periods. The truth is you can believe what you want but you have no evidence to prove your case. You should seriously consider quitting or join us Africans 😄✊🏾.

Even though job opportunities are the issue everywhere on the globe, African Americans should not be discouraged about the possibility of getting a job in Africa, it is possible... mind you, nothing is impossible under the sun! @ExpatLifeGhana4 жыл бұрын
Totally are Vegan meals... but so many things have animal products that are not even thought about when making it (like dried shrimp for flavor or a fish stock in a meal with "no meat"). It just becomes harder to when you go beyond meatless into vegan eating. HOWEVER, so many fresh foods to get at the market and make delicious vegan meals at home and they are delicious!

Eat cous cous Ghana calls it Wusu Wusu. Its a staple. The continent is for entrepreneurs, its not built up like US or the West. Is it peaceful there or are they fighting ? Talk to Nigerians, about entrepreneurialship they know, some Ghanans know too. Thanks for sharing.
