The Real Image of Jesus Christ
The more we become like Jesus, the more of a real man we become. Satan has done his best job though to make Jesus look very effeminate, unmasculine, unmanly. And there are false images of Jesus such as at the Catholic churches and in paintings that make Jesus look very weak, not the image of a man that you would want to look like. And I want to tell you that that is false. That is not what Jesus looks like and that is not the image we want to look like as men and our culture.
We're not to dress looking like women, we're not to be cowardly, but we are to be in the image of Jesus Christ, a real man who is genuine at heart, pure of heart and able to stand up against evil and stand for what is right. Are we in the image of God? Are we becoming more like Jesus, the real image of Jesus? Or are we taking on false religion, false images of Jesus Christ such as the Catholic Church is portrayed and all of these paintings in our culture about Jesus looking like a woman? What image are we taking on?
