Simply amazing, but honestly if you knew anything about AEW backstage, you shouldn't be surprised, BCC boys are praising him for being good guy, and for his willingness to grind and train

I love the idea that the Blackpool Combat Club really does feel like it brings legitimacy to wrestling. Whenever I watch Mox or Danielson work I feel like I'm watching a real fight. Both of them have the final boss vibe.

Love how in AEW there’s no script. Both Bryan and Moxley going back and forth on the mic and Bryan in real time on live tv convincing Moxley on the idea of being a tag team. They went for it which is awesome. Tony Khan not feeling it at first but later all three of them came up with the same idea of bringing Regal in and running with it.

With Jon saying that Regal just gives his all to everyone, to try to pass on his decades of wrestling knowledge…this is why it’s so short sighted that he was told there was nothing for him in NXT/WWE…he has so much to give everyone from the up and comers to people like Jon and Bryan that have seen everything. Great interview.
@sentientcardboarddumpster79002 жыл бұрын
Regal was in Dustys place after he passed, now NXT has Shawn Michael's and apparently HHH has returned. Atleast they're in decent hands still, but yea seems like a huge loss for NXT. Glad to see Regal on AEW though, he's gonna do wonders for the locker room. Regal might go down as the best acquisition AEW made to really cement themselves as a wrestling promotion.

But your dedication and work ethic saw you give all. In that moment I felt ok to grieve. You Mr Jonathan Good, gave me that moment, in what is apparently your least favorite spot you ever did. You matter. Even in your most disliked moment, you had a positive real world impact. I feel like the Blackpool combat club is your reward. You are in your happy place again. But, holy shit it is so awesome to see this side of Jon Moxley. And I love how Renee just knows how to approach and talk to him, again obviously. Where I feel most people would want to fill those moments where Jon pauses, she just allows for that moment of silence to happen. That just speaks to how great Renee is and how comforting she is even when there is silence. She does this and just allows for there to be pauses in her interviews. I love that! He's already the RoH Pure Champion. Which is an awesome belt for the BCC to hold, considering how they address wrestling. Its rules are: time limit on matches, only allowed 3 rope breaks to get out of submissions, lose the match if you leave the ring. I'm really hoping we see him defend it on Dynamite/Rampage sometime soon with those rules, if RoH isn't coming back to TV for a while.

A hypothetical AEW/WWE crossover event should have BCC vs. Bloodline as the headliner. I LOVE the fact that all three (Mox, BD and TK) had the same idea to bring in Regal. I would get Mox and BD. But TK also having it, is awesome. Also I love the little curtain pull on how there's no real "creative/writing" in AEW. It's just the guys floating ideas to TK and they can flesh it out as they see fit. I think it shows in the product too. Like the whole thing with Yuta felt organic and some storyline that writers came up with. But the wrestlers themselves

Now that they have Eddie Kingston and Cláudio Castagnoli they could really start something really good. Maybe they can keep adding people to the stable. Maybe Miro could join, PAC would be great and if WWE released Nakamura he'd fit in perfectly in the BCC. They need at least a woman, maybe Serena Deeb or maybe they can recruit someone else. Saraya Knight (Paige) could be a good addition if she wants to wrestle again and can be cleared to do so. Samoa Joe and FTR would be perfect fits as well. They could be like an NWO of wrestling purists.
