Yeah - there's a huge variability among different people in how they respond to gear. The monetary cost of carefully measuring every bio-indicator to find how you respond to various regimens of PEDs and coming up with an optimally healthy program would be very expensive and out of reach for any middle or working class guy. And taking gear is not going to meaningfully increase your dating opportunities or income for >95% of guys anyway. It's a crap shoot.

As someone that works night shifts at a warehouse i can definitely say that Neutonic made so much of a difference for me at work since we're busy on the holidays and last week of the month and this week was monstrous.
@newme158916 күн бұрын
im sorry to say but that is not actually fixing the problem, its a bit like coffee: it hypes you up while making the problem worse
@itachi390716 күн бұрын
@newme1589 I don't exactly take it everyday, and it was usually only once every so often. Now I'm not dependent on it to get my work done, but that week was extremely heavy and i did need some energy to get me through a possible 9-13 hour shift. Not sure if you've ever worked at a warehouse or not, but those can be extremely draining especially in the later half when work is almost done and it feels like things are being dragged out and overnight when sometimes its possible to get home and the sun has already started to rise or has been completely made visible. Now I'm not saying everyone needs to use it, I was just stating that it helped me at a point where i needed it.

It should be noted that having too low T levels also shortens one's lifespan. But of course, the levels he's talking about in this video are superphysical (i.e., plus 1000 levels). From the studies I've seen, men tend to do well in the "goldilocks range" of 400-800ish.
@lednevnik18 күн бұрын
Does low T shorten lifespan though? I'd think it's complications that cause low T could potentially shorten your lifespan, so low T is just a symptom of something else being wrong with your body
@larry-ludwig18 күн бұрын
@@lednevnik To stick to one marker yes, low T is related to higher blood sugar levels. Which exactly causes what (be it the high sugar lowers one's T, or is it from low T raises blood sugar) they don't seem too sure. Though logically if you have low T it does makes sense for blood sugar to rise because of lower muscle mass. So yes I would say that low T can shortern your lifespan just for the simple fact of lower muscle mass and higher body fat.
@larry-ludwig18 күн бұрын
@@lednevnik I should also say there are many factors that can cause low T. Some are simply age-related, some are signals that aren't getting to the testicles ( ie a growth on the pituitary gland), and others can be dietary, exercise and sleep-related which I'm assuming you are referring to. Yes you would be best if you improved sleep, eating and exercise before even considering TRT. All other avenues should be ruled out before getting on a TRT protocol as it's for life, and IMO many 30-year-olds should not get on it. I have been on TRT for over 2 years now and I reget not doing it sooner, but only because of the symptoms and markers were off for years. This speaking from someone who considered all other avenues before going down the TRT route and my numbers were still very low. My health markers are better than ever, and it is directly because of TRT, not much has changed in my other aspects. I eat very clearly, sleep well, and exercise constantly all were about the same before starting on TRT. So I don't buy the guest's statement that taking testosterone (I assume at any level) is bad, if my own markers and stats all have gotten better in the past two years. I certainly would be shortening my life if it wasn't for the protocol I am on now. For me, that is without question.

You are still in there. Chris,I saw you at the Apollo and you didn't disappoint. ( No yoghurt lid moment 😅) Thought you were very relatable human even though we're in different fields and levels. I discovered your podcast as I was going through the worst parts of my life. I had ended things with my wife and partner of 15 years, PTSD had started to read it's head 2 years in from a house fire we had survived in Spain. And it was almost the end of COVID restrictions, but I had come back to the UK, after I had to shut down my bootcamp business in Barcelona. Now working as a van driver ( essential worker some how ) Move forward a few more months, and I was getting back to personal training ( wondering if I had imposter syndrome with everything and being out of the industry) Then, the worst thing happened. My dad went missing, he was living on his boat in Portugal. He took it out, and never came back. A month went by with 0 news, a Facebook post I shared was reshared 1000's of times. Until a body washed up, I flew out with my sister and uncle, to give DNA. On this trip we knew we would not get an answer, these things take time. I took my Uncle and my sister to where I know dad parked the cars at the marina. His Evoque, and a 1995 jeep wrangler, which held a special place in my heart. ( I'd driven that car there in 2009 alone. That was the trip I decided I wanted to make fitness my career) When we got the cars they were open, paper work all sorted for us to find. And his last note of goodbyes. He'd lost about 300k to a fake crypto and had sent 70k to a fake woman in Russia (his emails when we got his iPad from the police, showed he was in love - with someone he'd never met, and who wasn't real, judging my the messages we'd seen. Trying to piece together everything) He was a broken man who had lost, was embarrassed and felt isolated. We spoke to the maritime police that day, and they said the boat was police scene. They could only say that, what they found weird when they pulled the boat in ( 3 days after it went missing) the diving gear was layed out , but no weighted belt was there. The DNA said the body has no jewellery, watch or anything ( he never wore that stuff) But the body was wearing a heavy belt. We knew it was him - 6 months went by before we were allowed to put my father to rest ( the same police station as Maddie McCann we were told by the British embassy) I found your podcast in about month 4 if all this, I had decided to go to Thailand, train and be away from it all. I started journals, reading and your podcast. I came back with 2 goals. 1 - I'm going to fight in one of those charity cage fights ( I lost on points to a guy 2p years younger, looking to go through UFC. But I got locked in that cage and stood my ground) 2- push a gym sled for 24 hours straight and stream it for proof . I raised £3000 for CALM. ( I look back in that and think how did I do that, I think I was fueled by pain and guilt - I was the last of my family to see him alive and I called him out on a lot of his shit as a dad to me and my sister - I didn't hug him when I walked in to Faro airport. The last time I saw him. There's more to all of this and perhaps I'll write a book one day. So where am I today? I'm in the best shape of my life, I'm building my online coaching, I have businesse mentors who speak of emotions in business. I'm with a girl who's dad did the same thing ( she saw him at 5 years old, on his noose) And she is the happiest light you will ever meet. I'm a far better coach and look in to understanding people far more than just sets and reps. Why are you changing, who's it for. Any way, in moments on my own, you know like between sets, driving, sleepless nights. I want to thank you for putting those 5 words together man. You should be immensely proud of yourself, you have spoken words and thoughts of many a man, and have a banging taste in music ( lots of the things you talked about feeling different from the crowd hit me. ) I went through all of this, and having your podcast to help with so many topics that were relatable, bringing on guests in the fitness world ( helped me remember why I love Coaching and should always be chasing education and goals to continue growing as human - and now I wear these circadian rhythm glasses every morning to keep Huberman happy 😅 ) Thank you Chris, for being like a low maintenance friend I could pop on in the car. I didn't need to say anything, but had a comforting and helpful wisdom dose all through this and beyond. Those 5 words, will remind me I'm the same person that started this fitness career to help, that was inspired by the first Rocky training montage and that I will continue to want more for my life. Wishing you all the best with your health, happiness and the show continues to help anyone else who has been to those low points. Hope to buy you an icy neutonic one day man

Dietary cholesterol does NOT influence blood cholesterol. 12 eggs a day is fine.

Insanely expensive, you need at least 200 international units, which is far too expensive. That would be 20 bucks a day, while nandrolone, which does not have high aromatization, costs around 40 USD for 10 ml, which would last a month. The only safe steroids for longer use may be Ostarine and some other really mild receptor modulators, while strong androgenics like Trenbolone have insane mental side effects. Peroxisome modulators are extremely dangerous too. Methylated steroids kill your liver, and there are not that many compounds that are safe. I’ve been using roids for 10 years in small amounts, 200-300 mg per week, which takes you to double the performance in most cases compared to a natural average John Doe. Getting noticeable mountains of muscle (professional bodybuilder level) requires more like 2-3 g of most compounds per week. If you are not using Metribolone or any derivative of nandrolone, which would mean if you took that for a year, you’d most likely be dead.

Steroids can shrink your testicles, but they can't shrink your penis. There's no clear mechanism by which that would even be the case.

Taking steroids speeds up recovery time & causes muscle growth at a quicker rate. Both of these things have got to be a huge motivator for getting you to the gym. I wonder if this partially explains the 80 year old bodybuilders --- they might be getting a lot more exercise most than nattys along with having top tier genetics.
@taopaille-paille499214 күн бұрын
there a always a bit of luck in everything in life. It's a probabiliatic game. + Steroids and genetics are not the only factors. Environmental factors and all what you put in your body except steroids plays a big role too. We just can't control all

I’ve been full carnivore for 97 days and sleep has been the one thing I have been struggling with. I go to the gym 3 times a week and my workouts are pretty intense. Lots of reps and lots of volume so rest and sleep are super important for recovery but that’s the one thing I struggle with the most. I also just quit smoking cigarettes 5 weeks ago so I’m wondering if that has anything to do with it. I’m hoping things will change for the better soon.

Steroids are terrible for bone density. Mike's smaller frame is a risk factor too, but being male, lifting weights, and carrying so much muscle mass means it's unlikely to be an issue for him.
@micskra17 күн бұрын
how? Lifting weights literally increases bone density you ding-dong. Steroids let you lift heavier weights, for more reps, and more frequently. Steroids do not degrade bone density XD
