if party fighters can count there are some arena fighters that are easier to pick up and play that you might enjoy.

Sounds fun although I’ve never heard the term. I like 3D fighters for similar reasons - they feel more newcomer friendly.

@@Majora_T arena fighters are games like power stone. Castlevania judgment. Some of the Naruto fighters infact a lot of the anime fighters are like that

Fighting games are jsut bad games, plain and simple, they have way too much input complexity, not enough fun factor. There are many great alternatives to fighting games though *wink* *wink*

Arcade era fighters specifically are designed for a play style I’m not privy too. I want to like them but the CPU doesn’t want me to.

@@Majora_T thats because of the input complexity, too many moves, too many awkward button combinations for combos.
