Alice...the real reason is simply the money factor and locality. Arsenal could be offering a very high salary, probably around £300k to £350k per week to Zubi. I think City could also match this salary but ultimately, Zubi chose Arsenal because its in London and has got nothing to do with footballing reasons or yearning to win titles. If winning titles is what he desires, he would choose City as City wins titles like play thing.

So.They spent 105m on an overated donkey in Rice and replaced their best midfielder by far this season in Partey to get a not PL proven player who plays in a mid table spanish team. Great businness by Netflix FC. And how do you know that he will be good? I am a Liverpool fan but I have no problem with them signing Zubimendi. But I will urge my club to move and sign Partey.The man is class.

Yes, Partey still the best no 6. But he is 31 to 32 and he wants long term contract. Do you mind keeping him another 4-5 years???? It is hard for a midfielder at old age to play at midfield because use so many energies and stamina compared to Defenders and forwards. Midfielder has to run all over the pitch up and down.
