Some of the things they talked about have me concerned though. Not being able to control Luigi outside of battle seems like a terrible choice and the frame rate dropping im getting pretty sick of as well. Have these been things that bug you as well?

@ frame rate wasn’t that noticeable unlike in echoes of wisdom. But trust me it’s perfectly fine not controlling Luigi as Luigi’s logic is used all the time and you can still control him jumping and hammering outside of battle. Also bros moves use Luigi quite a lot than the reviews stated

I know that everyone here is excited fir Switch 2 and also me cause I'm just hoping and excited to see what new games Nintendo has in store for Switch 2 like the next 3D Mario if it's a sequel to Super Mario Odyssey if we see Cappy again, a new Mario Kart Game if it's called Mario Kart 9 or Mario Kart X, Luigi's Mansion 4, a new Donkey Kong Game if it's 2D and 3D and maybe they can finally bring back King K Rool since he was back in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and from HAL whatever they're working on for Kirby they can show a sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land like having new copy abilities and upgrades, new Mouthful Modes, and new playable characters like King Dedede, Meta Knight, Clawroline, and Elfilin, and a new 2D Kirby Game if it is that Kirby leak which is Kirby and the Celestial Stars and maybe showing us that new Kirby female character that looks related to Susie Haltmann which is Polly. And hopefully, we can see the GameCube Library in NSO for Switch 2 as well. But yeah I hope Switch 2 in 2025 will be awesome to see what new games this new console has in store for us.

I'm excited for switch 2 because of, the new big games, and the better portable experience. The switch was cool because not only could you use it for home console gaming, but as a portable console as well, and it was finally powerful enough to not have a crappy portable port made for it so it could run. That said it still wasn't able to run the NEW big titles. And it either took months or years to get a port for it or it just didn't happen. With the launch of the next console I want something I can not only use as a home console, but a portable-home console. As the original intended.

1:19 Yep, absolutely no big 10-15 million sellers this year. *continues to ignore Super Mario Party’s 21 million and Mario Party Superstars’ 12 million* Yep, nothing like that released at ALL this year. Like, if Mario Party isn’t your thing and you want a less casual focused multiplayer game, that’s fair enough. But man, if we’re putting Luigi’s Mansion at the Big Hitters’ table, Mario Party FOR SURE also gets there. And it’s in ZERO way a “smaller title” at this point. Also, I cannot abide this disrespect to Bowser’s Fury. It may be a smaller 3D Mario experience, but it’s still a new 3D Mario experience that is a GREAT proof of concept for a big, open world 3D Mario. It deserves to be respected on that fact alone, even if you want a full release, which I can’t exactly blame you.

I'm pretty hyped to see the Nintendo switch 2 in action for the future. I want the Nintendo company to remake New Super Mario Bros. 2 HD for real on the switch 2 because i want to see what the game would look like on tv in High Definition. Maybe there is still hope to bring New Super Mario Bros 2 HD in the next Nintendo system if the company can place 3ds games on the switch when time comes in the future.

The Switch 2 may take longer than expected to launch. But don’t worry, we just need to show patience. Maybe we’ll have a new Mario Kart game at launch or Prime 4, Legends: Z-A or Xenoblade X could launch with the console. Mario Kart could launch with 32 tracks and no crossover characters and get DLC packs adding crossover characters and double up the tracks to 48. They could ditch the coin item and bring the fake item box back, add commentary as the Arcade GP series has it and bring Mission Mode back as it was supposed to return in Wii. By March 2026, we could get a new 3D Kirby game, possibly a Sequel to Forgotten Land. We could get to see playable Elfilin and Clawroline for the first time and they could bring back the dream palace allies as well. Halfway through 2026, we could get Splatoon 4 and by the end of the year, we could get Super Smash Bros. 6 and hopefully they’ll ditch World of Light and bring Subspace Emissary back. We could get Super Mario Maker 3 and Luigi’s Mansion 4 and a successor to Super Mario Party Jamboree by 2027 as it’s been 5 years since we had Super Mario Maker 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3. They could add a Mario Wonder game style to Super Mario Maker 3 so 3D World isn’t just the extra game style and they could bring the Amiibo costumes and the Weird Mushroom back, and for Luigi’s Mansion 4, the game could be in an Airbnb and we might get to see Luigi save Daisy for the first time in the series. By 2028, we could get a successor to Paper Mario: The Origami King as the TTYD remake came out this year. So why not another one in the next 4 years? I hope the console sells well. I probably won’t get it day one, or maybe not at all. I might wait for Smash 6 to be announced and then get it with Mario Kart and get other games later on.

Imagine Nintendo opening with what initially looks like The Super Mario Movie... but it turns out that is the new 3D Mario followed with Mario Kart X! Next Gen Animal Crossing should be on the cards as Splatoon 3 only recently wrapped up and Splatoon 4 is at least a couple years away. Might be cool to see what BotW 4K remaster would look like as it's technically a WiiU game and Nintendo get to sell it for a second time with a definitive edition (BotW + Season Pass, maybe + TotK too?!) that goes beyond just bumping the res to 4k and making it 60fps (texture detail, ray tracing, etc). Metroid 4 already looks good on OG Switch, so wonder what they'll do to make it obviously improved on Switch 2? Oh an maybe we finally get more than TWO system themes!
