Only reason Paul's over 200 lbs is because of the Mike Tyson fight. He was at 230 going into that fight. He came down to 200 for Perry but will go back up for Tyson. But there's no reason for him to be that overweight after the Tyson fight so he should come down to his original weight of 185 for the Tommy Fury rematch and KSI fight.

The gap between Jake and KSI is way closer than people think imo. Jake was used as target practice by Tommy despite knocking him down, and KSI didn't do anything offensively although rarely getting hit clean. He knows as a promoter, it is not his job to get involved with the trash talk between the fighters but Mams does not understand that because he is simply a very inexperienced and unprofessional person in the combat scene. The constant pushback from both killed any interest I have in them fighting. At this point I don’t care who did more of the pushback. It’s been 5 years since JJ fought Logan and of course naturally people assumed he’d be fighting Jake but fast forward five years, still hasn’t happened and never will. If anything Deji vs Logan Paul is probably more likely to happen than KSI vs Jake Paul.

Funny how Jake was “ducking JJ” when he fought Diaz (a fight that he wanted after Fury), but JJ used the same excuse for his bout in August (which wasn’t even signed). It’s actually hilarious how things always change on the fly. The same extends to Jake, who wants the weight in his favor despite cutting to 185 in the past. These two have massive egos and it shows in the negotiations.

The reason this fight won’t happen is because Jake Paul would embarrass KSI as he can actually box to a half decent standard and put lots of time and effort in & fought better appointments. KSI who has he fought & look at his poor style he makes it akward but not in a good way he uses that style to not lose not to win, I think at this point paul fighting Ksi would be a massive step down for Jake and not worth it

I've been a boxing fan for many years, and I've been watching these guys closely, I would love to see the Jake and KSI fight happen, and I may be wrong, but my personal opinion is Jake would win. At this point, I even believe if Jake and Tommy Fury ran it back, Jake would win. I've never been a big fan of Jake, but he has matured a lot and he's starting to grow on me a bit, and people better stop sleeping on this guy. As for the fights he has fought, I believe they have been about the money and him getting ring time with different style fighters, but he has improved a lot since he and Tommy Fury fought.
