I'm a Messianic Jew by choice, I am also a widower and I am an end stage COPD patient in a nursing facility in the Detroit area. I have been here for 3 years now and I didn't expect to live this long to be honest with you; anyway I have listened to a couple of your videos , they just popped up and I thought sure why not. Well, today I was especially impressed with your ability to tear apart the word and return it in a way that is easy to understand and really enjoyable and I am really impressed with your ability to make it so interesting as well, because you have been given a gift for deciphering the word. I decided to subscribe to your channel because of these facts, because I have been studying and learning about the Lord Yeshua for many years myself. I really appreciate your gift that you have been given and that is why I subscribed to your channel and I hope to hear and enjoy and learn more about how you understand and talk about the great gift we have been given called the Bible in the future Father willing, unless we are all taken up tonight or I'm just taken on my own. Thank you, for sharing your time and message that the Father has laid on your heart to share. Be well blessed and safe in your travels in this life.

@@BrandonRobbinsMinistry Thank you very much for your prayers 🙏 they are always welcome of course. I have one question for you . I knew some folks some years back and this wonderful family went to a church were my mother used to go . Their name was changed to Robbins by the Father's decision; he said it was because the children had trouble spelling it in school but I have a feeling it was more than that, I was only a kid myself at the time . Anyway, their name originally was Rabinowitz , now I'm not exactly sure how that spelling match's the original name, but it was as it sounds phonetically , but I was wondering if that might have been your original last name or has your actual family name always been Robbins ?

Wow, I never really realised how human Jesus rwas. He wasn't just performing miracles and doing amazing things his entire life. He lived a normal life for the most part, and he experienced all the sorrows we have. Knowing that He experienced first hand the same things we have makes Him feel so much more personal. Then realising that He, as a man, went through all the torture He did shows us how simple our problems really are.

It’s actually very encouraging to me because there are things about me that I know are not pleasing to God and I have confessed to him that I am perplexed by them and that I recognize they’re wrong and that I want to get rid of them, but at the very same moment, if it doesn’t sound too perverse, I delight in them! It puts me in the position of Paul where he talks about this very thing in chapter 7 of Romans. What my sinful nature wants is pretty powerful. It makes me want what I don’t want. And I worry that because I recognize this in myself, that maybe I don’t know Christ at all. But then I realize… call it the work of the Holy Spirit to help me recognize it, I come to agreement with God that ain’t good! And that’s kind of encouraging. Just because doing what’s right doesn’t necessarily FEEL right doesn’t mean we’re failing. It means were listening. We don’t have to necessarily pay attention to how we feel. How we feel isn’t an accurate barometer to how we’re doing, either. It brings to mind something in “Mere Christianity” where CS Lewis talked about loving others . And that is this: “Do not waste time bothering whether you ‘love’ your neighbor; act as if you did. As soon as we do this we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love him.”

I know the difference and know it's not right but I continue to not do the right thing. I used to pray for Jesus to forgive me, but I know that I am still going to do it again because it is so strong in me. And I feel like I am using him to continue asking him to forgive me over and over for the same thing. So I stopped.

@@maryvalentine9090 My husband always said, change comes from changing behavior, then the mind starts to follow. Behavior is practice and muscle memory and starts the physical/physiological laying down of connections in the brain. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, done correctly and ethically of course (the caveats are there because of the leftist fallacies being woven into "therapy," etc. these last years) really develops the ability to identify patterns and choices, and change.

JTB was the last Old Testament prophet, and he was also in the lineage of the Aaronic Priesthood. Both his mother and father were direct descendants of Aaron, which means earthly speaking, Jesus may have been genetically not only in the direct line of King David, but also Aaron, through Mary's mother. JTB represents The Law, or Old Testament, and the people thereby under them. His death represents the ending of The Old Testament, The Law and the beginning of The New Testament of grace and truth.

Interesting insights, brother. I would like to add a few extra points: In the beginning God created male and female creatures, and finally male and female people. The real points to be made here is "complimentary"; the two were complimentary to each other. Also, God didn't want any single creature to be on its own, so He made two for companionship. Also in the fact of two being complimentary, they were to reproduce after their own kind. This being instituted by our Creator -Jesus, now as man He instituted the pair factor for the same reasons: Complimentariness, companionship, reproduction in the spiritual realm. There are other aspects behind this pairing of His disciples: Ecclesiastes 4:9, 11 Zech 4:11. In regards to what and why Jesus was doing, teaching, and where He was going, He was totally dependent on His Father. He never did anything on His own initiative. Everywhere He went at the appointed time was to fulfill OT prophecy, whether to Egypt, Nazareth, Jordan, the Wilderness, Galilee (Naphthali, Zebulon), Tyre and Sidon, Jerusalem, Golgotha, all these were because it was written in the Scriptures. And in every case He was subjected to feelings, weariness, wonderment, hunger, and of course to every kind of temptation common to every man. YET WITHOUT ANY PERSONAL SIN, HIDDEN OR VISIBLE. Every day He experienced was in preparation for the next. What a Saviour!!!!!

Thank you Brandon. What a timely message. My mother passed away unexpectedly on June 23 and Oct 17 was her birthday. I can't tell you the pain. But God was there thru the worst = watching her die right in front of me. But He was there even before that moment and He showed me He was there the following days after. So hard to explain how, but I know without a doubt. And even tho I still don't understand why - my peace and my joy was knowing He was there and so it had to be. She loved Him, and I know she has her place in heaven. Thats all that matters.

I have attended many churches, they set me on the path I'm on at this time, and I'm grateful. Last year my husband died and I went into the hospital with Covid and Pneumonia. I was on a ventilator for 10 days and wasn't expected to live. The reason I know this is nurses and doctors were shocked when I lived. I'm 73, with health problems that made it unlikely I would make it. God came to me in many ways while in that hospital bed, and not only did He touch me, but all who came in my room to care for me. It is now a year later and I'm learning how not to be shy when speaking to others about our Heavenly Father. Pray for those all around me to listen and believe.

@@jmcc8718 I believe that Enoch also did not die. ...It was into this fallen world that Enoch also was born and where he had to spend his days. Genesis 5 says little factually about him. It mentions the name of his father Jared and the name of his son Methuselah . And it mentions how long he lived on earth - 365 years. However, Enoch is mentioned in two other places of Scripture - both in the New Testament. The Letter of Jude, vv. 14 and 15, informs us that he was the seventh generation from Adam, and more significantly that he was a prophet... The other reference to Enoch in the New Testament is in Hebrews 11 - the noted “heroes of faith” chapter. There, the inspired author cites the two main truths about Enoch brought out in Genesis 5, namely, that Enoch walked with God and that God took him. But Hebrews expands on what we read in Genesis 5, specifically citing the faith of Enoch and the manner in which God took him, by translating him, so he did not pass through death.

You are very, very right. Jesus couldn't be happy at all for many, many reasons and this Word of God in the video would be one of the reasons too. One of the reason that Christ was unhappy all throughout His ministry was because the guilt of His death would be mankind's' (which would eventually be dissolved by Hie death on the Cross - It was not because of His weakness as human that He was asking the "Cup' to be removed, but because it would pain His Father to see His beloved creation (man) reject them both the Father and the Son-the ultimate Love of the Son for the Father)

Your comment about feeling all alone being surrounded by crowds...that is so true. Anyone here who has toured with a rock band has known this. This is why so many rock musicians are drug addicts. They are gods on the stage, and they are nobody once they leave the stage. They can't reconcile the two extremes. Jesus didn't feel connected to the crowds. He had compassion on them, but they all just wanted something from him...a miracle, not relationship. Think of it.

This morning after I finished reading my passages from Our Daily Bread, I prayed. The very things I said in prayer were mentioned in this video. I like to choose which video to watch next depending on how I’m feeling at the moment. Today, since I had been wanting to see this one, I chose it. When you spoke about feeling alone and feeling shunned by those closest to you, I cried. That was what I had prayed about before viewing this. God works through us all. I don’t actually feel alone because I know God is with me. I feel alone because I love my family and am not with them. I know in time this will be overcome. I always reach out to God regardless. I know that whatever He has in store for me will come in His time and I just need to hold on and be patient. All things are done by His will and in His time.

Admirable teaching, Brandon. I like how you care to understand the culture and Biblical characters in Jesus’ life and times. You speak with empathy for people and show the love of our beautiful Savior and Lord. The story of John the Baptist has perennial lessons for Us. One final point I’m surprised you did not make: Remember, it was John the Baptist, the rough around the edges baptizer in the Jordan, who said of Jesus: “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world,” and he was the one who baptized our Savior and testified to the Truth, to the point that it cost him his very life. Are we willing to do likewise in these end times when to worship God will become the pressing issue before Jesus comes as King of kings and Lord of lords? Study & Pray on, my brother-in-Christ🙏🏼

Brandon Robbins. Look back through this video and see how you keep contradicting yourself. For example, you claim "Jesus" (whoever that is, may it be Yahuwah, ben Yosep? ) disciples weren't his family, yet then you listen them as family members. and his disciples literally were his family, and you listen their names as brothers and sisters... and yes, back then; Even if he was adopted, they are still family. But what you aren't clear about is which Joseph you're talking about, and is there 2 Josephs, the father Joseph Sr., and the son Joseph Jr.? Or are you saying that Joseph was just one guy who happened to adopt his brother? Please elaborate on Joseph, if we're just going to be calling him a Carpenter and not acknowledge the fact that he was actually a great architect and a pharaoh of Egypt, also known as Imhotep? But I digress.

I understand Brenda ! I lost my sweet, amazing, extraordinary cat two years ago too. In 2016 he was wondering the neighborhood, I heard some people put food out for him. Sometimes he walked through my backyard too, but when I talked to him he would run away. One Sunday morning me and my girlfriend were having breakfast on the patio before church, and that cat came up to us meowing so hard as if he was very hungry. I ran inside and opened a can of tuna, which he inhaled. The next day I was working in my garage and he was around sleeping under a bush all day. The following day I went to work, when I returned home he was curled up on the mat in front of the entrance door...the following days I would go down to the basement and I would be surprised to find him sleeping on my bed. Totally stretched out in a deep sleep. I think he was exhausted from being outside all the time. I was a widow for 3 yrs at this time and i was already thinking, I should get a dog or a cat. I used to have another cat before, I had her from 6 weeks to 21 yrs old when she died. In 2020 we were coming up to our 4th anniversary, and four days before suddenly he stopped eating, and became lethargic, he went into hiding... Next 2-3 days he was getting worse, did not touch food or water. Took him to a Dr. on a Saturday, they took blood but the result would not be available until Monday. I talked to an emergency hospital, they said without the results they couldn't do anything either. Sunday night, I was so scared that he would not make it..I fell asleep and I was awakened at 2:30 am to this blood curdling, horrible scream...I jumped into my car with him and for 3 minutes he was screaming and it stopped, and I new he was gone. They tried to resuscitate him, but he was gone... Later that morning the vet called, that his blood result showed that he was extremely anemic, which indicated internal bleeding. To this day, I don't know what caused it. He was so vibrant 4 days before our 4th anniversary, and suddenly he was gone. It broke my heart! I loved that cat like he was my child. He was such a great little company, great fun, he was smart and affectionate. I cried for months. And I still have a hard time accepting that he died. He was only around 8-9 years old. He spent the days outside, running around my house. I used to whistle, and he would come running. This morning I was going through old video recordings on my phone, and watched the videos of him and I having fun together. I smile and cry at the same time. I remember, I was volunteering at my churches food bank at the time, and 3 days after this, I went in to work, but I couldn't because I was so heartbroken...I told the coordinator that I had to leave and what happened, and all she said was ok...on my way out I bumped into my pastor, so I told him too why I have leave, and all he said was ok too, and he had a hard time holding back laughing at it !!! Later too nobody tried to comfort, or show sympathy 🤷 Thank God I have a friend who is a major animal lover and she drove 260 km to be with me to bury him in my backyard that day. Sorry, I just wanted to drop a line to comfort you, and I wrote a book.. It is sooo unnatural to loose people or animals to death !! It is so traumatic. We have a hard time accepting it. I think it's because our hearts know it was not meant to be like this. I life should not come to an end. But because of sin and rebellion, not only people die, but the whole nature groans in sickness and death. But even they are waiting to be redeemed. I think/ hope God is storing the animals for the future, they are His masterpiece too...we know animals are going to be in the millennium age too. I sure hope to be surprised by finding them then...but now the pain is real, the emptiness is real, and it does take time to get to where it's bareable. I don't know you, but I felt compelled to share my story, because what I went through, I sure know the deep pain you are in now. I really believe Jesus knows and cares about our grief as He made these amazing creatures. He must love them too ! God bless you dear. I pray for you and your family to be comforted by Jesus right now. Amen. From Canada 🇨🇦

It bothers me that you keep saying to do things together. I had lived here a few months & just as Covid started I moved into a new apartment & knew no one in this neighborhood.Other than my landlord I know absolutely no one. Not a single soul. My 27 year old daughter just died. The person I a true connection with. I moved here to be close to her. I have a beautiful granddaughter but her & her dad live an hour away. I can take a long bus ride there & have to leave 2hours later to get back & not have to be a local bus stops in the dark. (We’re having a crime spree) Because I’ve been ill I’ve been afraid to be far from home with no one to call (have before) Its been over a year & they still aren’t certain what’s wrong, so they treat the symptoms. I’m not having a pity party here. Don’t know if telling I’m flirting with eviction is relevant or not. But the gist of all this is given all that’s going on, rather than be alone everyday don’t you think I’d beg, entice or even pay (if I could) not to be alone with my thoughts of my daughter? Things I want to type here but I won’t. There must be others like me. People who are paralyzed, have outlived their friends, for many reasons are alone with no one. Because of Covid I have no church home. Trying to find one in the middle of epidemic, where going to a gathering, could be suicide it wasn’t reasonable to look. It’s better now, but I lost my transportation. Because I’m olderEarly on because of my age I was supposed to stay home & not go out. Once I lost my car it became academic. According to the count that was made we have more than 80,000 homeless in in the city and a great shortage of housing You’ve said this at the end of a lot of videos. Always do with someone else, how bout adding a prayer that we all have someone to share it with.

Brandon: I would digress just a bit on the disciples taking nothing with them. It may have also been that where they went was STILL in the Jewish area not Gentile. Jewish custom at the time was to welcome strangers OF THEIR OWN FAITH in their homes. Providing all their needs during the stay. (hospitality)This changed as Jesus sent them into Gentile communities as this "welcome attitude" was not the norm. Then they would have to take provisions for their needs as the Gentiles were not accustomed to entertaining Jews.(big division in the two this is why Jesus teaching methods were so radical to the Jews) Paul's travels are a good example of this point. BTW I get a lot out of your commentaries thank you so much.

When searching for John the Baptist, (Yohanan Ben Zachariah), the Romans came to the Temple, where John's father was, working in the Temple as a Priest. They Killed Zachariah, because he would not tell where John was, or that he didn't really know, didn't matter, they killed him "in the Temple," a righteous worker of the Most High. Since we see very little in the way of wooden construction, it is safe to say that Joseph was a stone mason, and not a wood carpenter. Nazareth was the Romanish name of the region. In Hebrew, it was "Netzeriah," or "The land of the Netzer." A Netzer, is a shoot of a tree, that sprouts up on the roots of another tree, but at a distance from it. It is not the same tree, but a completely different tree, that comes up, on the same roots of the original tree, even if that tree was dead long before the sprouting of the new shoot! Messiah, was to spring forth, from the root of Jessie. Not from Jessie himself, as a son from a father. But from the roots, the 'lineage,' of Jessie, at some time, even after Jessie was dead and gone. Many of the people of the land of "Netzeria," were descendants of Jessie.

I love these videos. I’m trying to study deeper into the disciples and the history, along with my Bible reading. I’m disabled with young onset Parkinson’s and epilepsy, which I’ve had for 20 years, so can’t drive and don’t have anyone to take me to church. I do share Jesus with my grandkids and husband, but sadly my adult children are not believers. Please show me the link for your newsletter as I can’t find that. And I ask anyone to help me with intervention prayers for my kids. God bless!
