Aizen knew that Zaraki would still be affected by Kyoka Suigetsu so it wouldn't be a matter of if, but *_when_* Zaraki went down. And therein lay the problem: Zaraki is an absolute tank that takes forever to kill and also has killer instincts. So Aizen, while confident that he'd win, chose not to fight him out of a sense of caution. It'd also take him way longer to accomplish his plans since he'd likely need to rest up from the fight first.

i feel the reason why aizen never considered fighting zaraki is that all it would have done is make the execution of his plan take longer. like aizen even getting out of fake karakura town and into real karakura town was because the espada were actually a match for the shinigami stationed there, now if you throw kenny into the mix, suddenly the whole ordeal becomes a whole lot messier because now the espada can't measure up at all.

In the CFYOW postscript, it is confirmed that Kubo reached out to Narita and Matsubara to write the novels. I'll copy/paste what was said. "However, I am truly grateful that at the same time he reached out to Matsubara and me about his passionate desire and important plans to create a last novelization to add a flourish to his fifteen-year story! Kenpachi is the oldest. But he was one of the last members to become a captain. When aizen was doing the holification experiments kenpachi wasn't around. When Aizen showed everyone else his shikai. Kenpachi wasn't a captain yet. The 10th kenpachi was still alive at that time

How did Aizen lure Zaraki to Hueco Mundo to trap him there? Even if he would lure him there why would he assume that Urahara has no way open a portal and take him back? Aizen must have know that Urahara can open the Garganta, because of this skills and intellect. If Aizen didn't lure him to Hueco Mundo then what's the basis of the assumption that he feared him? Aizen explained at the end of the Huaco Mundo arc that he lured them there by using Ichigo, whom he lured with Orihime. He knew that Ichigo was too vital a tool for them to abandon, so they'd send Captains to rescue him. He then locked down the space around Los Noches to trap them in Huaco Mundo, thereby reducing Soul Society's military power. Urahara's methods were still to expiramental to break through from the other side. (Mayuri only suceeded thanks to information he found in Szayelaporro's lab) Aizen was quite pleased they sent so many Captains because, including Gin, Tosen, and his own desertion, it meant that Soul Society was down 7 Captains. In other words, their military power was cut in half. However, he had no way of controlling who they would send. Zaraki is a likely chance. If you're sending troops into the lions den, Kenpachi is definitely one I'd choose. But there was no assurance of it.

No. We didn’t. Tousen is nowhere near as powerful as base Aizen on his best day. A fight between Aizen and Zaraki back then would have seen Zarakis untimely demise early. Only less than a hand full in SS arc could have stood against him and even then victory isnt certain for them EXCEPT Yama (Yama with two arms and full potential, yeah, Aizen really didnt want that problem).

This misconception that Aizen avoided Zaraki is ridiculous 😂 A much stronger Zaraki was oneshot killed hundreds of times by Unohana who conceded inferiority to Aizen even way back then, AND the databooks support this. Aizen didn't "avoid" someone who struggled against Nnoitra... Honestly, the way he fights... Aizen could've killed him at ANY point. Unlike Unohana, Aizen isn't reviving him hundreds of times just to wait for him to "catch up". Yes, the novels are canon (lore-wise, and the general concepts explored), but the actual narrative isn't necessarily canon. Wherever it contradicts the source material, it is to be completely discarded. This is just a misconception and a misinterpretation on the author's part. If you read the manga, especially with prior knowledge of Yachiru Unohana going in (so, a reread basically), you quickly realize that Aizen was referring to Unohana who at that point was very sus. Kubo wanted to foreshadow another ancient Gotei member who just like Yamamoto (although to a lesser extent) could pose a threat to Aizen's plans in one way or another... be it in a straight up fight or taking down his Espada faster than his Hogyoku fusion, and making things more difficult for Aizen. Because, if you think it's Zaraki just because of his latent talent and power, then anybody could argue for Uryu, Ichigo, Rukia and even Orihime because they all have latent talent and power that they all unlock around the same time as Zaraki... and they all scale somewhat relatively to Yamamoto in their own ways too. We all love Kenny, but let's not grasp at straws to try and change the narrative as already presented by Kubo, respectfully.

It's not the novel readers fault. it's just that SAFWY boost Zaraki and Unohana to insane levels. Zaraki gets a boost in power level that he should have only got in TYBW after defeating Unohana. If you read the novels and believe they are canon, then even Unohana is stronger than the top Espada. If you discard the novels (which I do), then Unohana is maximum at Ulquiorra's level, with Zaraki being stronger individually than Espada 0 ONLY after TYBW fight with Unohana. But tbh, TYBW anime has already proved SAFWY to be non-canon. Don't know why these people still believe it is canon. Even from a power scaling POV, the novel makes no sense. It basically puts Zaraki at Squad 0 level of strength before his fight with Unohana.

If that were true, he would never have lost to Ichigo, Yamamoto wouldn't have had to rescue him from Royd, and Unohana wouldn't have to keep healing him. Zaraki doesn't instantly remove all the seals necessary to win. He is vulnerable and can be killed before being able to remove his seals

I don't think Kyouka Suigetsu would work on Zaraki either because instincts go beyond the 5 senses that Aizen can affect but moreover I think he didn't want to fight Zaraki without being immortal first because he was being cautious due to Zaraki's ability to go from having a draw with Ichigo to beating two captains while remaining eyepatched, beating the 5th Espada with a double handed swing, slapping the 0 Espada around and not taking it seriously, beating Azashiro who Zero squad had to step in against and capture and then killing 3 Sternritters when everybody else was struggling with one(except for Yama). Aizen chose not to underestimate Zaraki and was correct in his caution.

Wasn't humility. Just strategy. He couldnt reveal himself at the time to keep the plan in motion. But the captains knew he was formidable and respected him before his betrayal. Zarakis spritual pressure at that time wouldnt measure up to Aizens. He'd still try to fight but nothing tells me he'd last long against bade Aizen. I have the Novel in English translated literally plus I don’t mind but could send it to anyone if they wanna read it plus I only have volume 1-2 translated keep in that mind and YESSS the Novels are canon because Kubo allowed Narita to work on Bleach plus Narita literally showed Kubo his work and Kubo loved it and gave him the okkk to publish the Novels and if something wasn’t true at all or very wrong from the story Kubo would of said something to Narita literally rite away or tell him to remove it plain and simple what more proof do y’all need Jesus Christ this is annoying as HELL

@@User5hdbh it’s like saying ur the Arthur of Bleach and me I’m Narita and I read the whole Manga plus fell in love and focus and pay attention is what I AKA Narita did and even figure out Kenny power plus reiatsu and how strong he is plus Kubo was keeping Kenny a secret on what Kubo was doing from the start about his power level tell he was ready to show us fans and I came up to u personally and ask to show u what I figured out and worked on that others didn’t know and u read it and tell me u love it urself and even u even tell me u could give me some information from the Manga and that is canon as well I could use in the Novel’s and give me the green light to publish and u even draw everything in the Novels as well for me including supervising by u and there telling me it’s none canon 😂😂😂😂😂

@@oflameo8927 TBH, Aizen could have killed Ichigo many times. Remember even when he touched his chest. He just gave Ichigo a chance to get powerful in Dangai. Thing is, Aizen just didn't expect Ichigo to get THAT powerful, especially in a short amount of time (what was it, 3 months training in half hour or something). So just Aizen miscalculated. He prolly thought max Ichigo can go is full hollow (like he did with Ulquiorra), and Aizen will be able to handle that. Ichigo Dangaii form is basically his shinigami and hollow and fake ywach fully released, similar to his final TYBW form, whose bankai Ywach immediately destroyed. Aizen just miscalculated, and got busted for it lol. Also, Ichigo didn't exactly 'win'. After the final attack, Aizen was still up and was going for Ichigo but Urahara's kido kicked in. If Urahara hadn't planned that, Aizen would have killed Ichigo.

What he wanted was to make him even more stronger and the only one who could even rival his powers is Ichigo no one else. 1. kenpachi fought ichigo without his shikai while ichigo was fighting him with his 2. THE yamamoto, the phoenix, the hell bird, itself thought kenpachi one sword stance and how to use two hands..then stopped 3. none of aizen kido spells would work on kenpachi 4. Aizen scheme worked on yamamoto because his power comes out on release...no one can seal kenpachi's power since no one knows what he really is..he never had name or parents 5. kenpachi does not have a single special move but ichigo has three now 6. ichgo did not kill a single sternritter and he barely beat ywhach only because ishida intervened to simple put kenpachi is the physical manifestation of the spirit of battle... ichigo isn't in kenpachi's class. After Pernida mangled his arm and he tore it off..his whole arm came back like new on some Ornihime sh*t ..and I know that chamber did not do it..and we are going to act like that didn't happen?

You’re the one contradicting the source material, zaraki already defeated a similar type of fighter like Aizen in bankai tosen. They both have the same weaknesses with it being their zanpakuto if caught can temporarily affect their abilities. The only difference is the reiatsu of Aizen is significantly higher than that of Tosen so the outcome would be different depending on which zaraki he will fight.

The second time they met Unohana was confident Pre dangai ichigo had evolved to a level he could take out Aizen so she wasn’t interested in fighting him, Pre dangai ichigo wasn’t stronger than pre Muken zaraki. Shikai Isshin literally whooped shikai Aizen till the hogyoku started to amp him plus gave you aizen glazers an amnesia it seems, dude stated he was reaching his shinigami limits against him. Zaraki who could cleave through Nnoitra and Yammy despite their Hierro would absolutely massacre Aizen with the first swing he’d land. Zaraki didn’t reiatsu neg mayuri since he had just lost his arm plus was wearing an eyepatch. You’re a casual if you don’t know the reiatsu vents are found in the arm and when a shinigami loses their arm they automatically lose half their reiatsu on top of this zaraki was wearing his eyepatch which eats away at his reiatsu by an unknown amount. Ss arc Zaraki in the anime was capable of withstanding mayuris bankai poison since his reiatsu was massive enough to neg it let alone post muken zaraki who’s canonically stated to be the strongest shinigami in the databooks and manga. Why couldn’t Transcendent Aizen neg gins sword abilities? Mayuri who can defeat even hikone as stated in CFYOW would absolutely kill that version Aizen as well.
