GM totally overpriced the cars and the dealers marked them up even more. Plus the interest rates are still way too high for people with perfect credit. With that being said, me and my perfect credit will stay with my 2019 Grand Sport. I bought it brand new with Zero percent financing back in January 2020 when they were trying to get rid of them for the C8s.

The real reason is dealers refuse to sell it. I walked right up to a dealership, with the full intent to purchase the vehicle, but I was looked up and down, laughed at, and told no test drives. So now someone else gets my money. I damn sure am not going to purchase a vehicle I've never driven. *Edited to make sure people know i'm not talking about the dealership in the video.

When you make 20k+ a year and its due for a refresh in 6 months, no way is it going to stay at msrp. Used 2020s should be in the low 50k range or lower, there are no shortages anywhere.

I’d luv to buy a brand new C8. As a matter of fact, I was even customizing my Z06 options on the Chevrolet website recently. But I was just fantasizing because the prices are so high that I can’t reasonably spend 90,000 and up on a car. Not even my beloved Vette. So I guess i’ll just keep driving my C5 a little longer and eventually buy a used C8 when they dip below $50,000. That’ll probably “only” be 10 years from now 😝

GM and its dealer network ripped off so many customers who paid over $20k to $30K over msrp. Then those that didn't want to play their silly games were treated like crap. I got my C8 spec’d with everything except the 3LT package. I kinda wish I would’ve got it being that my 19’ stingray had it. But the 19’ didn’t have the Z51 package and my C8 does. Which is an option that I never use. But the 2lt is definitely the sweet spot in my opinion. My next Stringray will probably have the 3LT package without the Z51 package. I’m pretty sure I will never track my car.

The Z51 is better than the Z06. The z06 is over nannied too many cut ins by GM. Go into a corner and hit 1G lose half the horsepower. There’s not enough fuel with one fuel pump, so you’ll either blow up your cats or lose an engine. GM was too cheap to put in 2 fuel pumps
