I wish I could dance like her. I don’t envy her personal life and inability to maintain a long term committed relationship. She is pretty but beauty is only skin (or scalpel) deep. They get inundated with messages from JLO that are so harmful to young teenage girls, such as: 1) multiple marriages are ok (JLO said she doesn't take her past too seriously), 2) life is all about "me, me, me, and my daily selfies," 3) it's all about superficial ambitions such as looks, money, or fame, 4) a grotesque distortion of "love" (JLO seeks attention knowing full well that her husband hates the media, but totally disrespects his needs). 5) treats her staff like crap (this has been well-documented). 6) JLO's greatest talent is dancing like a stripper, which is really demeaming to women. I also went to High School with her in the Bronx, and her Sister. I'm 2½ years older than "Jenny," and was more close to her Sister because we were the same age, same grade, etc, etc. Jenny was just her "younger sister" back then, whom liked tagging along. She was arrogant as a teenager, but who isn't as a teen? I didn't really notice it as being "bad" behaviour, after all, EVERYONE was arrogant back as a teen... It's like a rite of passage to young adulthood, or something like that. We were just a bunch a kids trying to fit in. But like all teens, you normally outgrow that ackward stage. Then sometimes you don't. I was a geek back then, into reading books, science, and playing Chess, and I'm still a geek today at 56. But my being arrogant slowly drifted away, and it changed me into being a humble person. Jennifer Lopez tells the story of growing up in abject poverty. Her father was a computer technician and her mother a teacher. She grew up in a five bedroom home with her two sisters. Putting things in perspective, I grew up in a two bedroom1 bathroom attached dwelling. I lived there with my mother, father, two brothers, grandmother, grandfather. My parents converted the dining area and a hall into bedrooms. I shared a bedroom with my two brothers. My father was a letter carrier and my mother stayed home to care for her two invalid, bedridden parents. Of course, once my grandparents passed there was more room, but my parents never considered putting them in a home. Yet I never considered I was living in poverty. We grew up learning to appreciate every small gift life had to offer because life is precious. But, that’s my only perspective. JLo has hers and like everyone she’s entitled to it.

Well, for starters, she has a major yacht, bigger than most celebrities. Then she has several properties all across the Country, and even OUTSIDE the Country. All worth at the very least a million, some many millions... What you have to remember is that she not only makes movies, she's also a singer, and she has her own perfume, and I believe she designs clothes as well. So she has her hand in many peoples pockets, all making millions for her on a yearly basis. I don't know where you got that figure from, but I saw somewhere where it said she had a net worth over $700 Million, but who really knows the truth? These rich and famous people hire lawyers, accountants, and finance people so that they can hide their REAL net worth from the Public and especially the IRS. My guess is she's passed the $1 Billion mark easily. But that's just a guess based on speculation from all of her assets. Could be right, could be wrong,... hard to say, because while her assets are public knowledge, her debts rarely are... Subtract those from her assets, and probably the $700 Million would be correct...

Well as I implied the hard work definitely doesn’t show in her acting, singing, and even dancing. She’s below mediocre. I’m not a singer or dancer and can do waaay better than she ever can. Also I’m not sure what business savvy actions u n I know she performed but as we know most celebrities have a team behind her that have the expertise to successfully execute business moves. Her largest and most loyal fan base are Latins, if she didn’t have that fan base she’d be a one hit wonder. Also sleeping your way to the top is something very common in Hollywood, if ur familiar with the dark and underground world of Hollywood, you’d understand these celebs pay a hefty price for money n fame. I might have some understanding for rudeness in people really struggling in life, but successful and privileged people should be humble and grateful being fortunate one in life.
