Another youtuber who I can't remember his name told an old legends story about a Jedi who fell in love with a clone and they had a child. The clone, who I can't remember his name either was the member of some clone commando unit called Omega Squad. Maybe the clone and this Jedi went to Kamino to have the baby, and the left her with them to keep her safe. And sure since her mother was a Jedi, she's probably force sensitive. Filoni and Favreau are at their best when they can pull certain things out of Legends and bring them into Canon. Most people who are Legends loyalists want EVERYTHING as canon, but I'm sorry some of that stuff really sucked. So getting to pick and choose what works I feel is the best option for these stories. This is what I believe. Maybe she thinks she's a clone because living on Kamino is all she knows. Maybe this is why she doesn't have an inhibitor chip. Because she's not really a clone.

Darman had a love affair with a Jedi Padawan named Etain Tur'Maken, eventually marrying her and having a son named Venkyu/Kad. Omega Squad is a clone commando squad made up of surviving members of decimated squads. The Members are Niner, Fi, Atin, and Darman.

It's all in the Republic Commando novel series by Karen Traviss - although they're Legends now the books are well worth a read as they really dig deep into clone commando training and Mandalorian culture. Traviss did stop writing the series because she thought that the Mandalorians introduced in The Clone Wars invalidated her own work and the argument against all this having a link to the RC books is that Dave Filoni doesn't seem to be drawing on all the information provided in the books and is, understandably, largely basing this on his own output. Given all of the above, it seems far more likely that, if Omega is Force-sensitive, it is more connected with the Empire's attempts to create such clones (partly based on Palpatine?) as we see with Dr Pershing's work in The Mandalorian, then through into the Sequel Trilogy.

They had to scan Rex' head multiple times. The chip is mostly biological, and won't show up on the scan unless you know the precise location.

Im pretty sure that order 66 is just a code name for friendly fire. Because F is the 6th letter in the alphabet, and 66 is essentially ff, which stands for Friendly Fire. I might be wrong, but just wanted to say this.

I think Omega might not be a clone. Part of my reasoning is the Kaminoans are well known for their expertise in biotech specifically cloning. However in Attack of the Clones, it is also made apparent they are good at genetic modification. I think Omega is a vat grown augmented human, possibly made with several donors DNA. This would make her an original which is why they're after her. Perhaps she's the culmination of genetic research on humans done by kaminoans

No, I'm fine with her being force sensitive if she actually gets trained by luke or ahsoka or even windu (if he is alive that is). She just wouldn't be as strong as someone like them since they are trained warriors of the force, while omega is a very versatile fighter that can use weapons and the force.

I think they have to. They need a reason to destroy the cloning facilities. Having force sensitive clones behind the empires back might deem them a threat that the empire will deal with.

They may have to stretch the time line a bit but Omega being a Palpatine clone and related to Rey would explain a lot in terms of Rey's ability to learn skills quickly. They are trying to tug on our heart strings with Omega to get Star Wars fans to see the sequels the same way they did with the generation of prequel fans. Old fogey original trilogy fan here.

They needed a base brain scan to compare to. They mentioned that they used a base scan from Rex to compare to the current scan so they could find the chip. Ashoka found it with the force. They aren’t force sensitive, so they need a base scan. These chips don’t seem to be metal or silicon. They must be very similar to brain matter. So just scanning the brain won’t identify the chip.

Exceptional video as always! Perhaps Clone Force 99 was always meant to train Omega. If each clone has special enhanced abilities, their specialization will make their student a super clone just with training. Add to the this force abilities. Tarkin doesn't know Omega is a clone. This would indicate Palpatine doesn't know about Omega. Either that or Palpatine has outpalpatined himself again by concealing this even to Tarkin who was very close to Palpatine. I think she was meant to be activated after being trained by clone force 99. They are not apparently a "unit" to conceal this from Palpatine. They are a failsafe for the Kaminoans. If the Kaminoans let them go it's because she needs to be trained and if they let them go easily it's because they are sure they can be retrieved through her. Is this because she is a living chip as Darth Megs said? Why would the Kaminoans not put a chip in her? To make sure Palpatine could never find out about her? Best way to conceal a secret is to scatter its components in different places. All this may indicate the Kaminoans had notions long ago they would someday possibly be betrayed.

I don't think Omega is a clone at all but a child of a Jedi and clone trooper. The Kaminoans are just saying she's a mutated Jango clone to keep her a secret. I think the Kaminoans are gonna try and create force sensitive clones that still have Jango DNA in order to fight the Empire.

I still think that Omega is not a clone at all. The Bad Batch assumes that she is a clone, but when they first encountered her, Tech scanned her and indicated that she was, "adolescent human, origins unknown." Also, the medical droid in episode one called her Omega, while using numbers for other clones. When Echo was knocked out during the mess hall brawl, while coming to in the medical ward, you can vaguely hear the medical droid talking to Omega. If you turn on the captions, you can see that the droid refers to Omega as, "mistress." Omega shares some physical features and voice characteristics with other clones, but is also quite different. I doubt Disney would create a situation in which a female clone would be characterized as "defective." If Jango Fett was the "Alpha," then perhaps a natural child of his who is discovered by the Kaminoans and brought to that planet, and saved to eventually replace his dna as the source for clones would be dubbed "Omega." I don't think it would go well to make a clone of a clone.

Of course, the other thing I would point out about Omega is that the fact that she is a female means that she can't be a clone of Jango Fett. Clones are genetic replications, so would by definition have to be the same sex. The fact that she contains features consistent with Jango Fett, but also contains features quite different from Jango, implies that she is a natural child.

Don't see it being Cal. Pretty sure the Sisters were qorking with Ahsoka though, and may end up drawing her in. Can't be coincidence that Rex found the Bad Batch so easily. Palpatine wanted to clone himself for an Immortality project, so she could be a force sensitive clone. However, I don't believe it will be anyone we have seen, and wont be a Mando clone. We got a tease of the Martez sisters, and Kanan. This leads me to believe Faloni has a new twist for a possible future movie, or t.v. series. After all Ahsoka was a new character Faloni made up, perhaps we will see more of his creativity in a new character.

There have been some hints that while Omega cannot really use the Force, she is Force sensitive - the first clone to have that capability. Why would I write this? Hasn't anyone noticed besides me she is quite capable with weapons with little to no training? How about recovering the critical piece of the broken space ship from underground with the creature by sensing it? These all indicate she is Force sensitive and I believe this may be actually revealed before the end of season 1. At least this author seems to agree with this belief.

I don't want Omega to be a Palpatine clone. Or a Satine clone, as some below theorize. I definitely don't want her to be Rey's mother. Star Wars takes place in a massive galaxy; I hate the idea that all of the important characters have to come from just a few bloodlines. Finding out that Vader was Luke's father was a genuine surprise and an important plot twist. But Bo-Katan and Satine being sisters? Rey being Palpatine's grand-daughter? The best part of Last Jedi was to suggest that a character's actions are more important than their bloodline. I know there is going to be a major falling out between the Bad Batch and Cid before the season ends. I'm looking forward to it. But I will turn it off and stop watching when they inevitably turn Cid into Bosk's mom.

She could be a clone of Sateen and Reys mother, however Palpatine doesn't seem to have the relationship with Kamino leaders for that type of thing or they wouldn't be so worried about Imperial financing now. Too early it seems. It could work, BUT it's already unraveling that line of thought to pretend after the clone wars that they would already have an advanced force sensitive clone child as old as her. The clone wars JUST ended like a month or three ago in storyline. Palps to busy withbuilding his Empire and Kamino just doesn't seem to be self assured enough about their own science for that kind of shit, or they wouldn't be depending on a single force sensitive child. After all they were kidnapping them throughout rhe clone wars. Palp must be sure of another cloning entity to allow Kamino a single one for all the Empire's hope at success. Just saying.. I just rewatched the episode. Rex is adamant about the Bad Batch removing their chips but although Omega is also a clone he doesn’t worry about her at all. He doesn’t even suggest checking her, just in case. Usually if there is going to be a development like this later on the writers prepare you by giving you some kind of hints in advance. Unless they’re trying to surprise us with it, they haven’t laid the ground for it yet. If anything they’re lead us to believe she doesn’t.

I really do think that Omega is a force sensitive clone and hope this is the direction the show goes in. I don't think Nala Se would have let her go without being able to track or control her in some way. Maybe the Kaminoans developed some new technology other than an inhibitor chip to control or track her. I love how Star Wars introduces us to new characters like Omega and Grogu and we instantly fall in love with them. 😍

I think she don't have the chip do to she is outside the clone army, she is a Kaminoan prototype clone. I think she has an ability to learn everything she sees and master it. I don't like cloning force sensitivities. The force is in every living thing, but the force "chooses" who gets force sensitive. But she is a great character and the series is amazing.

Omega is not a soldier slave. Her name itself indicates she is the end of the line for this material. The fact that they made her female, may indicate they are creating an open ended line that can be naturally added to another line, or perhaps as way to link with the other clone who is not like the others.

I also think your theory about her being force sensitive and that’s how Ahsoka comes into play is definitely plausible. If that is the case, they’re doing a good job in revealing it in a way that’s different from other force sensitive characters.

Interesting idea, which is extremely unlikely but still interesting: Duchess Satine Kryze had the Kaminoans make her a clone using her eggs and Obi Wan's sperm. Leading to the creation of Omega. But after Satine is killed the Kaminoans are left with her clone that she had already paid for. I know crazy idea but I thought it was an interesting one.

In the original clone wars serie and in the comics there was a special clone named Alpha who fought alongide Anakin, Obi wan and the jedi: in the end, if i remember well, he was recalled to kamino to be used to create Clone Commanders like Rex, Cody and the others to be a link between the clone army and the jedi. Now she is called Omega. she could be daughter or related to Alpha? It's said that she is a clone, but maybe intended part clone? Alpha could have been involved in a relationship with someone? Even a Jedi? Just speculating here, and i don't even know if Alpha is canon or not, but Grievous was in the original cw and he is canon even in the movies.

There would have to be so much alteration and combination that it's by definition not a clone, and it certanly could not happen by random mutation. I hope the writers know the abolute basics of XX and XY chromosomes. She has to be a clone of a female donor, right?

I have noticed that in most instances, when Order 66 took the lives of most of the Jedi Masters, many of their Padawan were able to escape and hide (Ahsoka Tano, Caleb Doom, Cal Kestus). Is this because the clones did not see them as bigger threats, since they were merely students under field training. Those padawan that were caught, were likely taken to Vader and the emperor where they were forcibly converted into dark Jedi acolytes (Inquisitors), order to hunt down their former, fellow padawans.

They told us the Jango genetic material is no longer producing good clones. They need to refresh it the old fashioned way, so they made a female Jango clone. Aside from her enhancements, Omega has the same superpower as most women, to create new life. No chip required for breeding stock. The cloners intended to treat her like a battery hen.

I came up with the same theory. They plan to harvest her eggs to rebuild their DNA supply. The Kaminoans are actually a pretty sadistic people and I wouldn't put something as dark as this past them.

Any of y theories about Omega is that she may be a force sensitive, 3rd generation clone prototype. However he full force abilities will not activate until she comes in close contact with another force sensitive (Jedi or Sith). At the moment, she abilities just give her incredible insight into an individual's personality or activities around her.

I think all theories preclude the fact that she was made to be an assistant to the Kaminoans in producing clones, as stated in the very first episode. (Why would the assistant have an inhibitor chip?) She knows about the inhibitor chip and the clone because she is designed for that purpose. One, or some, of the theories might end up being correct, but I can't find any of them, so far, plausible; at least not right now.

Going with the idea that Omega is force sensitive and they do want to make an army with force sensitive AND physical advanced beings. If they were to succeed (at least with a few prototypes) Palpatine would probably destroy them since he would think them to powerful. That could be the way Kamino falls.

She is the first clone of Palpatine. The hair is unmistakable. I have always had an idea in an alternate universe, could there be a light side Palpatine (Rey doesn’t count here.) kind of like how Grogu, everyone thinks will turn into a dark side Yoda.

There's definitely something special about her.... hopefully its not really sinister. She was obviously made with a purpose, being so unique compared to all the other clones, i mean she definitely not a Jango clone... The rest of the Bad Batch weren't "made" with their enhancements, right? they were considered "Defective" an accident and just happened to be useful defections... So what if Syfo Dyas had them make something else? or Palpatine. the only ones who would really know are on Kamino. I wont mind it if they make her force sensitive. I LOVE Daves story telling so much!

I think you're on to something with Omega being a clone of Palpatine and that Omega will end up being Rae (Skywalker) in the squeals. I don't have much to go off of but Omega's accent has me sold on the matter. And her age lines up close. Her "parents" could be the two the bad batch escape in episode 2 of the bad batch. (Sorry I'm bad with names). Please let me know what you think as this is my first interaction with Star Wars professionals.

I'm still not very convinced with reasons empire has to shut kamino facilities down, clones were obedient and could shoot a blaster, why change them for troopers? Money saving?? Little silly, and since empire doesn't want their clones i dont think omega is connected roght now to Palpatine.. maybe later when he sees her abilities, but if she was some kind of his clone he'd want them to keep working.. My theory is that they were building an army to battle the empire, and the empire is gonna destroy the cloning facilities but they are gonna hide starkiller under it and when the empire returns to kamino they gonna find starkiller and convince him to join the empire to serve as their enforcer.

I love the idea she’s a clone from Obi-wan or Palpatine. It chimes with some of what is going on elsewhere with the Disney+ show. I do get the feeling that it’s inevitable that Cal Kestis is colonised within the shows. I know he exists as canon in the games, but that’s a niche market to use a character in Star Wars. It makes sense that a popular character would be a target to have his story expanded through the streaming channel. Disney didn’t invest in and launch an international streaming channel to show old content, and they paid a small ransom for Star Wars, just like with Marvel. They want to tell stories within these worlds, and they’ve made a fantastic start in both. It’s only going to get better. I do want there to be movies again, and in the cinema, but I get the feeling they will want to continue to offer them in both places for people. I do miss the big screen of the cinema, though. There’s nothing better than settling down with friends to watch the new Star Wars movie. They need to continue in some form, as it’s part of the legacy.

Fun science fact: When we hit puberty, no matter how dark or light our hair is, it always gets darker, my aunt has dark brown hair but when she was young she had light blonde hair, so Omega could have brown hair when she is older

I think she’s the clone of Palpatine. Her hair is reminiscent of a young Sheev Palpatine, perhaps not so reddish. And she has an inhibitor chip on her but not in her, maybe the head band, maybe the doll. And the chip somehow inhibits her force abilities even though, at times, she seems to figure things out relatively quickly. Palpatine is the master manipulator, so it wouldn’t surprise me if this is the case.

I'd say there is little to no chance that Omega is a "force sensitive". For starters, there is no reason for them to want to create such a clone. The Empire also wouldn't want a large number of Force Sensitives which would then have to be watched and controlled...with no way of knowing if they could reliably. Plus, she would have never been handled so casually at the facility if she were. Far more importantly, Jon and Dave know that one of the things they most need to avoid in the franchise, is any sort of new Mary Sue, OP characters with no foundation for their vastly OP abilities...or endless plot armor and mcguffins. JarJar Abrams, Ruin Johnson and Darth Kennedy already wrecked the franchise doing those things. Jon and Dave and George all recognize that they have to rebuild the franchise around former canon and sensible/believable development. Additionally, a "force sensitive" clone or series of them - would need to be powerful ones...but as Luke [courtesy of Jon and Dave in Mandalorian finale] stated and they were determined to assert, as a bitchslap of the Mary Sue [Rey] that JarJar and Ruin shoved down our throats..."Talent without training is meaningless"...so powerful "force sensitive" Omega as a prototype for her line would fail that. Force powers but nobody to train her to develop those powers. Fairly USELESS and certainly impractical. So the "force sensitive" Omega bit is silly. Especially when one considers fully that Jon and Dave are trying to make us forget all the cloning crap that got tossed at us in Disney's crappy trilogy.

I have been thanking Omega may be a clone of the female Jedi who was seen being carried off as the Bad Batch arrived on Kamino. This could explain why they need Omega to continue with the experiment since the source of the DNA has been killed and I suspect the empire does not know if this experiment.
