I wish Stevie would stop with the self loathing. Dude you’re fn’g amazing and you did something everyone in the comment section would have killed to do and you traveled the world you got to be in the ring with our heroes and you were a professional wrestler dude you had a good run! Never apologize for anything because if one little thing changes along the way you’re not here now. Accept your place in wrestling and be proud of it.

Not trying to cast dispersion towards others... Stevie truly comes across as the most humble, level headed dude and someone i wish younger guys and gals coming up would aspire to be as far as his work, his morales within the business and separation of ego and stardom. James and Stevie are top of the heap for content right now, for me personally.

JBL respects someone who can take it from him. Meanie took it and was still standing. JBL is a bully but when you stand up to him. He stops. I heard JBL tried getting cute with Joey Styles and he made JBL know he's not one to be fucked with. The best thing about standing up to a bully, you don't have to win the fight vs the bully. The bully respects you for having the balls to even step to him or challenge him once the bully pushes enough buttons. Brock Lesnar said he was a bully, admittedly. So he goes to the ufc and finds out there are bigger badder bullies than himself. Like Overeem. Or Ubereem as we called him.

I truly think, if not for that chair shot… That Bradshaw would have continued bullying people in the locker room. Knowing that if it wasn’t repercussion from the person that he was bullying, it was going to be from one of their friends. On top of that, I’m sure Vince went nuts on him and said… You are going to cause us a big lawsuit, not only against us, but against yourself… If you continue treating people like this. I think this was a necessary evil, to let him know that he couldn’t just get away with anything. That his actions also have repercussions.

Can I offer some constructive criticism? You are two guys talking about an event you both know a lot about. Not everyone in your audience does. Taking a few minutes at the beginning of your video to tell the story so that your watchers have context would really help us out. Set the stage. Introduce the players. Give us some background. As it is I feel like the guy who joined the conversation late and am nodding like I know what is going on while feeling like you don't care if I'm actually watching. Yes, I can piece things together with context clues, but I still feel like the video was made for old grognards with decades of knowledge who followed every minute of your career and not for the millions of people who have no clue what the heck you are talking about. Your banter style is great and you obviously have a ton of insider knowledge that your fans want to learn about but remember that your audience doesn't know everything that the two of you know so you need to tell us. Much appreciated.

Unpopular opinion: The Undertaker is the biggest hypocrite and phony in all of pro wrestling. He was totally fine with his boy Bradshaw messing with people and shooting on Meanie but berated Stevie for hitting JBL with a receipt. And Taker is notorious for both brutal chair shots and hitting others with receipts when he's been hit. In the ring Taker might be one of the best of all time but as a person, he seems shady AF.

You get back to them but not with the goal of hurting or emding career. A shoot is when you go all out regardless of consequences and opponents well being Accident is what happened to you. You did the job but odd didnt played for you in the particular moment that made it look like a shoot. Its like when owen hurt austin. It was an accident but people say at time it was him getting back at vince for bret. But it was just a freak accident at the wrong time ironically. You care for your opponent regardless who they are and what they done to you speak volumes of you quality of wrestling mind and work too. Huge respect bro bug time

I don't think he was a bully, but he definitely did not understand how people would feel with his jokes. From all this story, I really have a problem with Taker. Sounds like what happened to Taker when Randy Orton smacked him over the head with a chair the lip of the chair caught takers forehead and peeled his skin to the bridge of his nose

Is/was there a female wrestler that had the same role or took charge of women's locker room the way Undertaker did? I'm curious. No one ever speaks of it.

Bradshaw had been bullying him or, as JBL may have called it, relentless jokes on Styles who finally had had enough of it. He turned around and hit JBL. He didn't beat him up since he was much shorter.

The wrestling world at time feel like an anime or mango story. Filled with wacky story wild moment crazy people wild ego wild encounters legendary encounters people who everyone feared. Guys ripping teeth and nose with hands. Amazing

Agreed 100% However, I think I have a bias from when I was a kid. I HATED the heels from the Ruthless Aggression Era. Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Randy Orton, JBL, etc. I just don’t understand 95% of today’s heels. The heat always feels unnatural to me.

I found him extremely boring, I stopped watching during his title run era around 2005. Generic big cowboy gimmick winning everything in the middle of the Bush years was not fun to watch.
