So I have a small block ford swapped e36. I built the engine from the bare dart block. All eagle forged rotating assembly. I run a stock 302 bore but 4.125 inch stroke. I believe the math comes out to a 355 stroker. It has LS style OEM main bearings and the rods are an LS part number from eagle. Pistons are from diamond. My grandpa was Rusty Wallace's engine builder in the 90s so he helped tremendously. He machined this insane support girdle for the main caps, machined my dry sump pan, and took the aluminum summit brand heads and made them absolutely insane. I have all crower cam gear and cam with some purple billet 1:7 ratio rockers that are actually from a ford nascar engine. It's a 14.5:1 engine. I run it on c12 with 10% nitro. She makes almost 800 wheel hp. It's also port injected on a holley dominator and coil converted with all LS style coils from MSD. It's an absolute Fuggin monster. BTW I run a spool and my car is easy to push. Because the only thing that breaks are axles. It's been 4 seasons and other than axles and having to send the Jherico off every year I've had zero issues. I drive it to work on Fridays, my wife and I rip up to lake Tahoe all the time, I take our twin boys' friends out in it, their parents, even the boys' auto shop teacher has screamed his voice hoarse in it. It weighs 2620 with me in it and I run 315s out back. All you who know cars know 2700 lbs with sticky 315s and 800 naturally aspirated horseponies equals one thing, violence. All out chaos and violence. Jherico 4 speed

For us from the States, this is a very different show than we would usually see. I know almost none of these cars (except for the European and Japanese world cars). The dreaded LS swap is everywhere I see. Here in the States it seems like everything has a Texas Speed 427 stuffed under the hood/bonnet. Instant 450 hp. Now replace the rest of the driveline. What I didn’t see was any of the big Ford engines like the Coyote or Dodge Hemi’s. Are these just not available in Australia? The new Fords are a real challenge to all of the LS’s here in the States. It was real interesting seeing both the commonalities and differences. I know you guys face some real challenges building these road cars in Australia compared to here. Nice to see that the car culture is still alive down under.

Irmscher is actually a bit more than a wheel manufacturer, for example they've operated Opel factory teams in competitions and there have been several oem releases with their name, like a turbo Gemini

The Lincoln is the only familiar vehicle to me. Think of a panoramic view on a comfy couch while touring a beautiful countryside. You could power brake them to get the rear tires warmed up. They were not meant to go fast. Yet the engine was utilized by no less than Holman-Moody in their racing efforts.

100% Bang on about the Simmons, genuine 3 piece ones are quality wheels and single piece ones made by who bought them out are junk. Most youngings are stoopid and think only rays, works or any jdm brand are the only quality wheel.. tell them compomotive, O.Z, campagnolo, simmons, bbs etc are better genuine race quality wheels they'll bleed off every fast car they've seen or heard about to incorrectly try prove you otherwise
