You know what makes this video excel? The mini-history lesson on Atari as an analogy of the pizza-and-arcade business battle of the 1980s, which itself was used as an analogy for a single moment in the BOOK THEY'RE DISCUSSING. Glorious.

If I remember correctly, the reason it was called Terminator 2: Judgement Day - Cybernetic Dawn was due to licensing. Dark Horse had the rights to, and was publishing, comics based on the original Terminator movie at the time. Malibu got around that in order to make its own Terminator comics by licensing the rights to make comics based on Terminator 2, hence the name. God I'm such a nerd 🤓🤣

This is a better T3 than T3. On the idea is that the early Skynet time machine tests only sent the Terminators through TIME and not SPACE AND TIME, there by messing up the locations where they land and stuff. Along with the organic material factor as well.

When I first saw T2 as a kid, the T-1000's lack of skin bothered mee so much I hated it and didn't watch it again until a few years ago. Upon rewatching it, I got over it because its a kick-ass action movie, even if the sci-fi is absurd (the strength of the first one being that it works really well as both an action film and a sci-fi film). There are other problems as well, but that's the one that bothered mee most
@ianmckee47265 жыл бұрын
@@architeuthis3476 Although i suppose that the living tissue stipulation did come from Reese, who isnt exactly well versed in how the time travel works. I do think it would have been dsrkly funny though if skynet had to send like a whalenor something back in time, something thst the t1000 could be inside without killing it long enough to get back.

It only works if "Terminator" time travel operates on a sliding scale and so long as there is even one percent chance of the Terminators coming to power Skynet will continue to exist at some point in the future no matter how far in the future that might be so Sarah must make sure that probability is ZERO percent across all possible timelines.
