Love seeing these arcade style structures. Would have been nice to see the older one. If you make it down to Columbia, SC, there is a great arcade downtown that also has a hidden basement with lots of shady history.

A unique linear path mini mall, nice. Good that they security didn't bother you about filming the history of this mall. Thanks for the tour RRR. At 8:07 I forgot to mention, that I heard that music track in a horror movie that I finally rewatched. Carpenter's The FOG. It's during the scene where the fog surrounds the crew on the boat in the ocean. This song is playing in the background. Cool.

I grew up in NN, and was a denizen of Downtown Norfolk in the 90s and 00s. I have been in "Selden Arcade" and Monticello arcade both back then. And i am THRILLED to see this. Back then it was essentially a dead mall with maybe a alterations place. But just LANGUISHING in vacancy. And building McArthurt Center didn't help. I hope the lift in Monticello arcade means it is on the verge of a revival as well. The ORIGINAL downtown "Malls" are BACK!!! My guess is the new Waterside has failed too.
