Len was my favourite WBBL Coach, such a great guy. I loved it whenever Sevenoaks came up to Manchester. The junior programme was always around at final fours, and Len would be there coaching, I'd want to do a Sevenoaks game. It is a shame that they have had to withdraw, but completely understandable as to why. Women's basketball is a challenge to promote, I know, I'm still trying with Mystics (back in D1, same ethos as Sevenoaks, playing U18s are Seniors to give them experience, plus a few senior players to booster to standard) it's difficult. We're lucky to have the facilities here, two 3 court venues.
