Please keep in mind, Alberta's Oil and Gas is ALBERTA's jurisdiction, so while Smith may have contradicted the federal and ontario government, she is the only one upholding the CANADIAN CONSTITUTION. Kind of an important part of why her stance is what it is, not so much 'She's the CEO of the world's biggest Oil company" and certainly she IS speaking for a lot of Albertans threatening a National Unity crisis, that is ENTIRELY brought about by the country decrying our resources, refusing us pipeline access and then accepting our $ in equalisation. It is not Smith or Alberta creating a unity crisis. It is the rest of the country interfering in our constitutional jurisdiction whenever they please, at our expense.
