Yeah, hard disagree with him on Sparks of Hope. Sparks of Hope is soooo much better than the original. As much as I loved Kingdom Battle (and boy did I), the sequel is much more refined and dare I say more technically competant with its systems. It's a much much better game in almost every way...except the cut scenes. The brilliance of the Phantom and DK's introductions are something that is missing in Sparks, but honestly I'd take the gameplay in Sparks any day over the original. I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I just can't get on board with him on this one. Sparks is better, even though Kingdom Battle is fun and great as well.

Sparks of hope was great imo! The battles being set in other areas has its negatives, however it allows for better world crafting (which this games did better than kingdom battle)

Gotta say mario+rabbid is my game of the year. I love it. I haven’t finished kirby, or arceus, and Im using my alt account to avoid scarlet and violet spoilers, but if I didn’t care so much about spoilers I would have put mario and rabbids back in my switch a week ago. And I actually love my time with Pokémon so far. I just love sparks of hope way way more. It would be a perfect game for me If I could pick and choose wich characters’s voice acting I can turn off, if the speed up was a bit more speedy, I could switch the dash and team organize buttons, and if I could set the cutscenes to alway skip, in that order of importance.

You're supposed to offset the slow time between Demon combos by swapping to a different demon to start a different combo string more quickly. There is some insane combo stuff you can do between demons or with your demons. Definitely doesn't feel cheap to use them on harder difficulties because the game will punish you for using them poorly and it's very rewarding on inf climax. Bayo 3 is actually a lot different than the other games but the core is definitely still there.

In the original game, attacking wasn't the end of your turn. You could attack first or dash and attack and move after and even use special abilities to end ur turn...

Just thought I'd mention this (Maybe I'm wrong, I beat Mario and Rabbids 2 a few weeks ago and I'm going off of memory) but I'm pretty sure the darkmess puddles house uniquely built stages made specifically for each one. It's just the random roaming enemies that use recycled stage layouts.

The darkmess puddles do have unique battle stages (some of them can have multiple of them just for one specific puddle like one side quest in pristine peaks makes you defeat 6 enemies, but the map that it takes place in can vary) The roaming enemy stages are the ones that have 3 set stages that shuffle through.

I love the Mario rabbids series, and for the most part I like the sequel, but the biggest qualm I have with sparks of hope is the music direction. they got 3 amazing composers, and yet there's huge swaths of the game that are pretty much silent with no music! and often the music that is there is buried low in the audio mix beneath ambient noise and sound effects. it's a shame because the music itself is wonderful. what's worse is that adjusting the sound volumes to your liking in the settings causes a lot of issues with certain voice clips not being classified under the same setting. there'd be parts where an npcs voice clips are way louder than beep0s, for instance.

I'm from Brazil, I got a satisfye grip just because of BeatEmUps and it was worth every single cent, even 1 USD being like 6 BRL, mainly because I almost only play portable mode... I used to have 3d printed grips that scratched my switch and the console would slide easily off and other grips I tested did not feel not even close the Premium touch that satisfye gets. Best Switch acessory Ever!

I did notice today my Beatemups Satisfye grip is starting to loose one of the rubber inserts that hold the switch in place. The insert is about to break off from normal use. Kinda sucks because i love that thing!

I love Bayonetta 3 still and is a highlight of this year’s game line up for me but I do wish they just focused on Bayonetta’s combat model instead of the demons she can summon. It’s a feature I would loved to have seen maybe experimented with in a different platinum title but not Bayonetta. Just because Bayonetta is all about her. And the combat should focus on her imo.
