A topic that's been going around Genshin discussion boards is the notion of burnout, highlighted by the lack of engagement in content as of late. I wanted to make a video discussing my own thoughts on what's causing players to get burned out of the game.

As a 1.0 player who’s quit several times, I think the biggest problem is that there isn’t any real reason to keep playing. Like yes the story is nice, the lore is great, and the characters are fun. But I don’t have to sink hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours in domains to experience that. The endgame is so boring and unfulfilling it makes you question what youre doing everything for.

I think the dialogue is a huge issue. Reading through all of it is a massive chore but there’s also no use only reading a 1/3 of it because you won’t understand what’s happening. So you end up skipping the whole thing. At which point you can no longer be invested in whatever story is being told and you feel as though the entire exercise is pointless

They seriously need to hire an editor and just start chopping ALL of the dialog in half. there are entire paragraphs of dialog that serve no purpose, provide no insight, and do nothing but turn a 5 minute conversation into a long painful drag. Whats the point of the story being a big selling point of your game if its painful to push through?

Genshin dev team is playing too safe, they fear of chaging the game too much and losing their consistent player base. That's what I think is the reason why the game feels the same even after 3 years. Many other gachas implement new features and ways to expand character's potential and improve game's issues, Genshin devs sometimes just don't want to touch the game problems directly and takes so long to address it, if they ever address it.

I suppose the issue is that the code is so badly done, that it's nearly impossible to start amending the core ingredients of the game. They just have been using copy paste too much, and we see the results. They need to hire 50 people just to clean up the code for next 6 months and put everything else on hold. Until then, there's just nothing new. Otherwise we will suffer having the same game even at 7.0 Celestia release.

I’m pretty sure HI3 and GI have two different teams atleast for gameplay and story. Personally prefer the HI3 team, they put alot more effort to all the cast to combat and story while experimenting in most new events to some extent. I enjoy when they add some side mechanic to normal combat while letting us use characters they know are powerful but not everyone has, adds to the fun. The AU mode in HSR is literally the same as Elysian Realm in HI3 with only changes being HI3 has more damage or SP recover buffs. Honestly Genshin’s combat just isn’t that fun as HI3’s, where its more of a roguelite and face paced… Plus they actually have a dodge mechanic that is so much smoother than the sprint in GI.

Biggest problem: Lack of replayability and too much RNG! Once you've done the story and explored the open world, there's not much you can do except grind for artifacts and character materials. And it gets tiring very quickly. Personally I really enjoy doing coop domains, mostly for the multiplayer aspect. Genshin can feel lonely at times. I would love it if Mihoyo gave us more activities to do in coop, more then just grinding. I am not interested in the Spiral Abyss, but I would try to complete it if I could do it with teammates by my side.

I think the real problem is that you are forced to play every day on one side, and you are also extremely restricted on how much you can play on other side. Every time you skip a day you are punished with irrecoverable loss. So It feels like you stuck in some kind of toxic relationships where you get nothing but frustration but something holds from leaving it. It can't be managed in any way. It becomes your second job, quite boring if honestly. It only makes everything much worse. You must play it and there is no alternative. One biggest Genshin's problems is endgame content. It's nonexistence. 1 hour of endgame activity per two weeks is almost nothing. And another problem is that all rewards become worthless for high rank players. They only thing I care as for now is primogems. I have 42M mora, 1600 exp book and 6000 crystals. Why do I need more? Getting these is same as getting nothing for me. I don't even care about exploration. Why? Right. There is only mora, exp books and crystals. Everything else is locked behind gacha and resin. I also spent 3000 hourse in Path of Exile and never felt burnt out. Why? Because niether forced me to play daily nor rectricted my playtime. Play 16 hours per day or skip it for months. It's all ok. There are tons of permanent content added through years which can be played or not played as you want. There is no dailies/weekly bosses or similar shit. Most of the content is itemizable and can be traded. So you can fight same boss 100 times if you want or ignore it complety and buy it's unique loot from other player for example. Devs literally say they are ok if playes take rest from their game, they'll just make new update to bring back their attension. It's much more healthier approach, IMO.

One thing that really confused me about version 3 was that they didn't expand Liyue with the Chenyuu Vale area that's been foreshadowed. I was sure it would release alongside Baizhu and that his character quest would take place there. It would've been a nice change of scenery from the desert. Also Labyrinth Warriors should've been brought back, it's easily one of the best event modes.

If you ask me, I think the main overarching crux of burnout comes from a consistent pattern that I have observed overtime creating a negative feedback loop. It goes something like this: the fun novelty of exploring the open world + gacha > clearing all available content > nothing to do, so focus on grinding for endgame > Spiral Abyss > hyperfocusing on Spiral Abyss because it's the only substantial thing to do barring events > extreme burnout and longing for new meaningful content, which all leads to long-term breaks or quitting altogether. Occasionally the loop gets shaken up with each new area release, but even then, it just resets the loop anew and repeats the whole process.

ppl burnout bc they dont realize that genshin is a causal side game, its created for the most casual of casual players, not something u play for 8 hours a day, they space there content out for a reason, an extremely large amount of there player base plays for maybe an hour a day, something like 91% of there players dont even do abyss
@BladeSerph
@BladeSerph 9 ай бұрын
@@Aurrs Gacha (Especially badly designed) and Casual side games never can co-exist because Gacha pressures players to spend money when done poorly. If Genshin actually contained a REAL system to farm older characters outside of Gacha, the pressure could be alleviated a bit. Even the ability to `farm` a 4 star or a constellation token specific to 4 stars that can be acquired as a monthly reward would be enough. Wanna know what Punishing Gray Raven does with its older stuff? 1. All A-ranks, Weapons, Pets and Uni-frames can be rate-up select at ANY time, no time rotated banner needed. 2. Duplicate 5/6 star weapons from gacha can be scraped and used to get any weapon regardless of release time at a rate of enough shards from 3 weapons, with any duplicate weapon can also be fused on ANY weapon of the same star for resonance passive bonuses, dont need the SAME ONE (Genshin demands same weapon dupes for refines just like constellations last i checked). 3. All rotational content can be done with older units and actually requires multiple teams in some cases so older units still have value. 4. The `competitive` content does not give gacha currency for positions, just how much points you earn, which you can use the points for said competitive content for alot of goodies that Mihoyo based games would only put in expensive bundle deals. 5. Since you mentioned most players would not `play abyss`, thats triggering my FIRE EMBLEM ENGAGE TROPE CARD. Namely, how games should NEVER be judged by ignoring `critical content` to the game`s normal gameplay loop. If its present in the game, its gotta be part of the judgement and Considering Abyss gives `GACHA CURRENCY.`, its part of that burn out cycle of forcing players to get NEWER UNITS to stay on top of said content. 6. A Casual Side game Genshin is not, because if you look at the daily tasks, weekly tasks, adventure request `daily` tasks, and the battle pass `season` tasks, those are FAR from casual get on, get done in a few minutes and get off. In punishing gray raven`s case, outside of certain content, you mostly only need to grab the free stm pot from top up shop, do a few quick dorm tasks, burn your extra stamina on a auto clear challenge, claim daily rewards and your `done` for everything outside of competitive and event-specific content. 7. Speaking of stamina, did i mention how punishing gray raven gives up to 150 extra stamina a day, 90 of which are capsules you can simply hoarde for another day? Now how does Genshin give out `extra stamina`, Oh wait, a HOUSING SYSTEM that requires periodic coin farming for a TEMPORARY stamina capsule that only lasts a short while and its only a 30 or something pop and anything beyond that is just SACRIFICING your own stamina to `count` for dailies but your limited on how many you can hoarde, WHAT you can use those capsules for and still requires ANOTHER material to acquire to make said capsules. Anyway, ramble boredom done, point n case, Genshin demands alot of `daily activity`, any event/story content is ridiculously long and they make an entire story arc last MANY months on end, where they cut off mid-way of the story for random filler episodes that sometimes feels pointless and even CHARACTER EPISODES have to be locked behind ADDITIONAL GRIND that flips anyone in the face if they are a new player cause they gotta spend MONTHS to unlock character stories at a snail`s pace, some demanding EXTENSIVE story progression to reach (AND THEY CAP THE KEY COUNT TO BOOT TO FURTHER SCREW HOARDERS).

Personally, the first aspect of Genshin that became draining for me was its writing. The writing is just so drawn-out that I can't enjoy dialogue-based content, and I love reading; I'm a huge bookworm. I haven't touched the hangout events since its release. Second was the increased rate at which content drops. I started this game on release, during the height of the pandemic when I had more time to play games. I could finish that version's content, and move on to other games while I wait for new Genshin content. Now, I do not have the time to pump into Genshin as much I used to, this combined with the increased rate at which content drops has caused me to feel overwhelmed.

I think another part that hurts me from coming back is I tend to be a collector when it comes to characters. I love to collect them and bond with them. Some other gacha games are very friendly in that aspect by giving you tons of chances to get them and keep a large portion of them in after release. Some are limited, but the list of limited time characters is much smaller compared to the overall list. The issue I have with Genshin, including starrail as well, is how so many characters are so limited. It becomes very tiring if you are a player who has really poor luck (like me) who misses out on a character and basically has to wait months or even A WHOLE YEAR before you can even get a CHANCE to try for them again.

It has a lot to do with a sense of fulfillment as well. If I’m going in my head that I shouldnt try pulling for this character because I already have this character or this team it sorta kills the thrill of pulling due to risk aversion. Once you have enough characters in the game why pull for more? Collection would be the only reason to continue. Novelty is such a huge factor that when it wears it off it just isn’t worth continuing building everyone.

I mean when a game barely improves itself over years and the beefiest thing that is dropped after 2ish years is a entirely new element that invalidates previous comps to constantly use them for deeps. Yeah people are gonna be just pressured MOAR into the grind loop without anything that actually cuts down on its grind. Even punishing gray raven constantly improves multiple things each version whether it’s bug fixes, UI tweaks, construct improvements and so on the norm kurogames shows is always fix something up each version. Meanwhile for another Eden a much ‘slower’ game, gives a new character and several improvements every two weeks and a good deal of the time they are char variations thst can be farmed instead of gacha’d if you own an earlier variation of the char. Which throw in ‘weapon manifestations’ that are mini challenge fights to get a special weapon that drastically improves the two signature moves of said char plus a good stat bonus… Both games do a good job of giving newer content for players and improving older content for players that is not locked behind an entirely new gacha banner only.

All I have to say is that in my 3 years of playing gacha games, Genshin is the only gacha game that I genuinely couldn’t care less about event stories anymore. I feel the quality of the event stories have really stooped (in terms of keeping my interest in them at least). And when Secret Summer Paradise dropped, I’ve never wanted the desire for a skip dialogue button to be added in the game, because I couldn’t give a single damn about the entire plot of the event story. One thing I really dislike about how Genshin handles their event stories is how much they just like to DRAG the runtime of stories with useless dialogue that isn’t relevant to the story’s plot. Granted, I understand that most of the dialogue fleshes out characters and gives them much needed time in the spotlight who don’t get enough in the main story, but I just can’t help but notice that the majority of the times characters would just be spouting random nonsense until either Paimon or some other character who’s important to the plot suddenly budges in to remind or tell everyone about something that’ll actually move the plot forward, like some DM in a DnD session trying their best to keep their players from derailing the campaign or wasting session time by idly talking with each other

For me a big part of it is just the tedium of building characters, not even just artifacts but world materials and certain monster materials can be a pain to get even when able to ask my friends to let me raid their worlds. Meanwhile in HSR even when I tap out of certain materials I can usually just go get them in no time or send explorations to restock them over time passively. Plus it helps a lot that Simulated Universe, a resin/trailblaze power based activity, still gives monster drops which some sort of content in Genshin could really benefit from. Plus even just more farms/types of farms in teacup could make a difference in preparing materials that you may not spot enough during normal gameplay. EDIT: Just remembered world boss respawn times too, just kinda an additional way that it feels like the game deosn't respect your time.

I think the move they're making is using Star Rail as a tester to see how well these features behave when implemented. The game is much smaller atm, less code and mechanics to test with so its much easier for them to test these kinds of QoL features on it. They're already implemeting some of Star Rails features into Genshin, like some aspects of the party set up and changes to the daily commissions. At this point, I think its reasonable to see how things play out in the future of both games. The only thing is that it takes ages for anything to change specifically, not added as a 'new' thing. We know Hoyo has a big tendency to add rather than rework, which is certainly hurting their games' reception.

Honkai impact would have the same problem with events but what i think makes honkai different is that the events have completely unique and detatched events that have nothing to do with the main story causing players to see every (flagship not reoccurring) event as new and engaging, many people end up playing the events just to have fun. Another thing is rewards, in honkai most events have fragments (constilations basically) for meta relevant chars who usually have only just come out so even some whales will save money by doing them, not to mention there is often an outfit given out in the event that is rare causing ppl to not want to miss out. Also the events are just fun tbh

Something you didn't mention (and I'm honestly surprised you didn't) was characters themselves. Like we got some some of the strongest characters in this version (Nahida, Nilou, Alhaithem, etc) but at the same time we got some of the worst and some really underwhelming releases The TL:DR on this is my faith in Genshin's ability to create fun and useful characters has been shaken and almost destroyed by this version. So, let me explain why in detail. Starting with Collei she's got her uses but almost all of it stems from the fact she's dendro. She's an anti-thoma in that if she were any other element I think she'd be aloy tier for sure. Tighnari was good, tho. And having Traveler being really good for once was a breath of fresh air, but it didn't last long considering next we got Dori which according to Rathiel's character popularity video is the most hated character we have. And that's not surprising given she's filling a niche of electro healer *VERY BADLY* and this was already after we realized how good Kuki is with Dendro Then 3.1 comes around and GOD this patch was a roller coaster of ups and downs! Cyno is a great character and I use him all the time, but his selfishness without being hugely stronger than other none-selfish characters is a bit of a sour taste. Then we got Candace whose buff might be good someday, but for now is just mid or niche at best. And finally we got Nilou who we now recognize as one of the strongest characters in the game, but at the time we were so focused on how she won't work with anyone who isn't hydro/dendro it still felt like a mid release. 3.2 gave us Nahida, who has taken the crown from both bennette and kazuha as "best character to exist". Nuff said on her. It also gave us Layla, tho. And Layla is a fine character. But that's it, you know? Fine. Her shield's tanky, she does cryo application. That's decent. Trouble is that's really not enough. If her stars did decent damage she could have been a cryo Xingqiu (tho not as busted, we don't really need that) and opened up the door for off field cryo teams. Maybe we could finally get forward melting to work consistently! But as is she is fine. 3.3 was also tiring because Wanderer was cool and fun, but he also was competing with Xiao for anemo main DPS, which comes with all the problems of Anemo's gear in the game not supporting main DPS playstyles. And then there's FARUZAN. She's a fine character. A good support for anemo dps boys, but HOLY CRAP is she a pain to build for anything that isn't exactly C6! My Faruzan is C1, by the by. I got the free event one and I was able to roll her once on this banner. You can use her at c0, but only if you're willing to sink 250+ ER and Fav bow into her, which isn't worth it especially if you don't have c2. UGH 3.4 is the single patch I only have good things to say about the characters. Alhaithem is an exceptional DPS (when my sister was unconvinced I fought an event on hard mode with his supports being collei, dori and barbara and mopped the floor with the event) and Yaoyao both filled the niche of Dendro healer while also being one of the few 4 Star healers to have their heal on their E. Super convenient! Maybe things are turning around and Hoyo finally knows how to design characters! ... *sigh* 3.5. Dehya. I remember someone's community post (maybe your's. Don't remember) asking about burnout. The disappointment that was Dehya was brought up so much. It was remembering that which really lead me to writing this novel of a comment. Thing is if a character you're super excited about comes out and they're mid, that's saddening but you can still make them work. I mean, despite Cyno's problems I still use him a bunch. But when a character you love comes out who's bad not just because their numbers are bad but because their kit makes no sense in the game they are in, it can be such a gut punch that you start questioning whether or not the game is worth your time. This is what made me look back at the releases before and realize things like wanderer's fine, but for the dark mirror reflection of our protagonist, fine isn't good enough. Cyno's great if you can manage his burst's timing being out of synch with most buffs, but for a character teased back in version 1, he should have been so much better. It's stuff like that and how Geo didn't even get a character this patch despite how miserable that element is (not helped by the lady in fontaine who looks like she's the only geo in that patch being another freaking claymore user) that I look at all the wasted potential of this game and get depressed. Speaking of, Mika. How do you make a character that's directly competing with Bennett and not make him at least somewhat comparable to him? I know that's a big ask, but their kits are so similar while Mika's is demonstrably worse. And Gorou is better than Bennett in Geo teams. Mika should have been that for pure physical, like maybe by converting all elemental bonus damage on the team into physical bonus + x%. I dunno, but Mika's bad. I'm depressed. Moving on. 3.6 had Baizhu who was pretty decent, but it also had Kaveh who's budget alhaithem. Which is honestly good, he is a fine character and I do enjoy using him. My only issue is as a dendro driver his supports are often going to be characters like Xingqiu and Yelan, and in my experience if I play with supports who are too powerful Kaveh basically just gets to watch the supports kill everything. It's like the beginning of Sokka's Master where the benders are taking care of the meteor and Sokka's just sitting there depressed. And, finally, 3.7. I don't have Kirara so she's probably fine. Dendro shielder seems pretty decent. But I've found with characters like Layla and Thoma that you need to be more than a shield to be useful. Maybe being dendro is enough? I dunno and at this point I'm guessing not And those were the new characters introduced in version 3. There were a lot of good characters, but most of them felt disappointing in one way or another. And after waiting months and months for a character, hoping they'll be good, start hearing rumors that they might actually suck and finally getting to use them where you realize that they let you down in some way, and this cycle just keeps repeating itself over and over... It just eats away at you after a while. And it doesn't have to be this way, really. Yanfei is a mid character, but I use her all the time as a main DPS. And one of the things version 3 gave me was a really powerful team for her consisting of Nahida, Yelan and Kokomi Yanfei is under-powered, but her kit isn't working against itself, and a lot of the characters in version 3 felt like they were. Which, like I said at the top in my TL:DR, doesn't give me a lot of hope for the characters of fontaine.

Think the issue is the "fun" and" useful" like say what you want about Deyha but when her not working with XQ and Yelan is considered a "vaild" critque by anyone it's clear some people perspective are heavily skewered She works nicely in Cryo or with Mona ...that's good. the fact that people find the need to shove her with Bennet and Kazuha or considered her oh shit button (burst) the primary use of her kit and not the obvious skill that her kit is centered around is dumb Damage damage and damage and maybe to some seeing big numbers are a fun experience but the later units are at the very least good at whacky team. Bennet is just a button press Zhongli is a button press they don't invite proactive play style. Nothing to shape or craft its why to me at least Meta is kind of Garbage it puts units in a box and says that the only way to play. Maybe I want Tankfei as my only defense maybe Dori's passive energy regenerate quick on field applications( she's quicker then Kuki but Kuki is off field which people prefer) or even the passive Electro application for small incremental damage like Dehya skill The newer units are unique more niche and less powerful but it's honestly a far better alternative to more Bennets or Fischls where your damage output and how you handle challenges are basically just Watch broken character do more damage

I think you nailed it about the repetitive "festivities" events that we constantly get into the game, the first 2 were fine but here I'm on the last one just skipping all the dialog (which also is a very slow process) just to be done with it fast and claim the rewards. My personal reason why I feel burnt out is the daily quests, all of them are a chore to do and the big reason to do them is to get the primos. Maybe if Genshin had a weekly system or something different instead doing the same task over and over again this would be more toreable. Some days I just don't log in because I don't want to deal to water that rose in sumeru for the 100th time or cure that guy with stomachache. I'm still on board since 1.0 because I love the combat and lore, but usually you need to wait for new interesting stories and usually the only patches that I enjoy are the X.0 ones. I think if they replaced some of the "festivities" events for just lore events or more constant story quests, players would be more engaged.

The thing that damages it the most is that the "filler" episodes most of the time do the worst kind of filler, the one that doesnt advance the plot at all, the world doesnt expands, characters stay the same and the Traveller was just a passive character. For example, the TCG has being by far the worst of them all. Nothing absolutely NOTHING happened, it could had never happened and nothing would had changed and the Traveller was kinda there walking around for the lulz. And don come here saying "but muh Fontiane and cat gurl waifus", because they didnt do anything remarkable. In contrast lets put the 2nd Golden Apple Archipelago. The location was the same but changed in a quite interesting way were all the islands reflected the iner demons of the character they were centered around which gave a character development or insight on why they are like that and the traveller was taking an active role on the adventuring to unlock this iner conflicts. The plot more or less stayed the same only with Nahida showing up to tell us "how about you come here to Sumeru". They can have all the festivals they want but if you dont give us something to give a shit about during the festival, an objecitve to tickle our adventuring spirit, develop characters in a meaningful way (specially when there are A CRAP TON that are in dire need of one) or change something in the world, then the burnout will get worse.

That’s a double edged sword and something I’ve complained about in surveys before. Limited time events should NOT have important events in them at all. Because once they are gone, anyone who misses it are just shit out of luck and will never see that character development. I think the REAL solution is to make more PERMANENT quests so that when characters develop, everyone can see it happen and there can be more quests with consequences. They really should make all event QUESTS permanent and make the minigames and rewards the limited time part. Too bad they will always bring up the lame excuse of mobile storage issues. Yet they already have DLC with the languages so just let us download and then remove completed content.

I think Genshin is one of those games that cares more about attracting new players rather than maintaining long term players. A lot of events are made to appeal to new players with flashy colors and fun mini games. I’ve noticed a lot of the story events are more like “one and done” stories rather than consistently following up upon each other. I noticed this with Kazuha because his backstory was told basically 3 different times with the 2.6 festival, his story quest, and 2.8 event, they were essentially the same storyline but just got retold multiple times. Also a lot of story events involve things like competitions or festivals, which is appealing for new players but obviously older players get sick of it after a while since they already know it’s the same festival with just a new coat of paint over it essentially.

Ehh I'd have to disagree with you on Kazuha's story being retold multiple times. The 2.6 festival showed the history of his family and the truth of what happened behind the scenes. His story quest was a continuation of 2.6. Then the 2.8 summer fantasia showed his history and development from when he was little to when he left Inazuma. You could argue that the archon quest cutscene has already told that story... and while it is part of it, it's not the full picture. That's what 2.8 is. While they look similar on the surface, they're all different when you actually experience it. It may not be as interesting as Albedo's but they've done well in developing Kazuha as a character. I've been there for all of them so you can take my word for it.

@patty1418 2.8 was not an expansion of his story quest... his story quest was an expansion of 2.6. 2.8 is kind of its own thing. How he became the person we see him now As you can see, they're different from eachother. Obviously there will be some similarities but all 3 focus on different parts of Kazuha's life and development. None of them are retold, just expanding on his character

Besides that, one other thing that keeps me going is my standards for this game have ALWAYS been mediocre. I think that’s one of the biggest issues is how many player had high expectations or praised the game so much that once time has passed that the expectations have dropped for them and they became disappointed and left. For me I’ve always seen it as a causal game and I never expected much changes or game breaker changes cus even now I see it as how it always was since the beginning. I guess one other thing is for me I can’t understand 100% how player don’t like Genshin and left. For me, the main issue with genshin is the daily commission. Since its a set a mission you have to complete to get your daily gacha currency, it feels a lot like a chore, like youre playing for the sake of getting the rewards instead of having fun. Compared to arknights for example, you can get all the daily rewards just by playing whatever you want, no need to do a specific things, and eventually all daily task is gonna be done. So you feel like playing for the sake of playing and having fun and get rewarded for that.

Oh my god... I wouldn't expect to see this topic to be covered by you Vars, the amount of content creators speaking about Genshin burnout is growing fast which shows that something is going wrong to be honest. This is going to be a long commentary from my part As someone who started playing in 1.0 the biggest problem I have is how overwhelming the game has become, I am not excited for Fontaine at all after experiencing all the new areas Sumeru had plus the special festival region, it's way way WAY too much exploration for me, one of the reasons I loved Genshin back when it was only Liyue and Mondstadt was the fact it was certainly little and big at the same time it was easy to explore and to love, you want easier content to explore? Then go to Mondstadt, you want something more immersive? then go to Liyue. Additional expansions are an issue, I was genuinely excited for Dragon Spine back in the day because it came in the right moment, not too soon to make Mondstadt a burden but not too late to make future expansions an issue it filed the gap marvelously. But then Sumeru gave us desert expansion after expansion after expansion, I don't want to play a game that stalls content way too much for basically... Nothing specially considering how redundant and boring the dialogues has become. I am ok collecting 66 anemoculus, but collecting 270 where most of them are region locked until you explore ALL of the caves and desert? Yes, I did it but I grew tired, burned out and with a a lot of grudge for the game, it didn't worth it. Then we had the first Golden Apple Archipelago, it was an ok expansion with ok mechanics which were a prediction for future content like the Magu Kenki and the boat navigation (despite it has been always so clumsy to maneuver but it was so different and refreshing) Then I got to Inazuma... Good lord... The lore became bad, like... Really bad and I won't dive into it since there are many videos which explain why Inazuma was bad in character development and lore. But then Inazuma gave me the biggest of surprises yet: Enkanomiya, my god, I swear if it wasn't for Enkanomiya I would have given up long ago, but Enkanomiya was the lore bomb I needed next to the most beautiful landscape Genshin has given us (in my personal taste) so far. Then we had GAA again, more expansion after having island and island of additional exploration? Well.. Ok... The islands weren't that big to explore I think and Enkanomiya was perfect. GAA 2 was nice, the character development was cool and I think Genshin needs more of that... The only issue was the horrible Fischl Island... I don't want to see the crows performing in a scenario ever again... Worst chests in the entire game. Sumeru was great at the beginning, like really, REALLY great I loved the exploration for the rainforest EXCEPTING a good portion of exploration was locked behind a boring side quest: The aranara side quest. I couldn't care less for the Aranara honestly and not because the lore was bad but so much redundant dialogues with tons of weird words made it difficult to follow-up with. Then the Desert... The first desert expansion? ok... not THAT bad... then another 2 more deserts in a so short span after so many additional expansions since Inazuma? NO THANKS this is too much... Genshin drained my love for gaming and it became a burden for me I was in a position where if I play Genshin 1 or 2 hours I don't want to play anything else or I don't have time for anything else. Apart from the regions we have the abyss, the current state of the abyss is lame, it has become a damage check to the point it doesn't worth the 150 primogems per floor and people only does it by mere pride to know if their compositions and money/time investment really worth it. Another issue that is making my experience less enjoyable is the dialogue, it has become extremely redundant were NPC repeats themselves over and over and then Paimon repeat the same thing once more for 20 straight minutes where the only "action" is to select and obvious answer (come on, choosing to reply "true answer" or "..." is not choosing is just stupid from the developers) or moving to another NPC that is literally in front of me And then we have immersion, I personally cannot feel attached with the issues characters are having if the models are literally the same 4 or 5 all the time, Tepei story was good but I couldn't express sadness because is the same model as every other NPC in the game (sorry not sorry) I am just touching some points but then again I feel like Genshin is becoming a burden rather than enjoyment

I'm in the bored category. I want more stuff to do. While I like all of genshin's content, I especially like exploration and story. I actually didn't have much issue with Sumeru's repetitive environment (I thought they handled their differences well). My issue was that the summer event exploration seemed to short. Even as someone who sails through exploration, there just didn't seem to be a lot of content this time around. And the puzzles were basic, which was disappointing. Another gripe is with events, specifically, the fact that we had 3 FAYZ TRIALS in one version. THREE! That's just ridiculous. Sure, the event was easy and free stuff is free stuff but come on, a little more variety please. I'd also like it if the world quest that comes out with each new area was voice. We already have to sit through a ton of dialogue with main story and events (which I swear is getting longer with each patch) but with the world question, we have to sit and read it all (assuming you don't just skip through it) and it would be nice if it could be voiced instead. What they you don't get burned out by text overload (rather like this comment). Hopefully, Fontaine's underwater exploration will provide some interesting new mechanics (I doubt the pneuma/ousia will add that much to the overall gameplay) and, hopefully, they'll take the opportunity for up the ante in Natlan (after all, it is the land of war).

My main form of burnout is the "lack of content available to me." I may have not been around since the game first came out, but I feel there is some stuff that needs major changes. Characters are a big part of it for me and not having any money to spend on this makes it hard to get good ones. My first C6 was Xinyan and I absolutely despise the character. I have also been skipped out on for 5 or so banners now, so I have so little in terms of playability due to the very low number of actually good characters I have. Artifacts also never give any good stats for me, so I am stuck at basically the bare minimum for what I can do effectively. World level 8 doesn't help as rewards don't even increase at higher world levels, so it doesn't feel enjoyable being forced to do something on a harder difficulty and getting the same rewards as if I was just starting out.

i don't know enough from what you shared to get more detailed advice, but as a most f2p minus the occasional welkin sometimes, I've never had too much trouble completing content minus the abyss, and its the same with my f2p friends. First and foremost you need to be strategic about how you are building your main team, im assuming you have some teams built as it sounds like you are higher AR rank and what you are struggling is with artifacts. Artifacts are just a slow grind. For me I just do it casually and just keep my expectations low. Lets say it takes you one week of farming to get one good artifact for the char you are building, then in 5 weeks you'll be dont and its not that bad. You only need to hyper invest in your hypercarries or characters you really like but its not required to make stronger teams unless u are trying to 36star the abyss. If your main team is struggling with regular content however, then you might be spreading your resources too thin and just haven't invested enough. Obviously make sure that weapon, level (don't always need lv90 but lv80 ascended is usually fine), important talents at least lv6. Make sure your team is able to meet energy requirements so that you aren't struggling to just pull off your rotations consistently. And more characters will come with time as you pull more. I was able to create a good team within my first half year of playing with xiao, zhongli, bennet, and jean and 3 years later this team is still completely fine for clearing content. Of course my artifacts and investment has gone up but it was fine even in the beginning where I just got the others to a usable level and mostly focused on building my xiao. And before I got xiao i just used chongyun and jean. If you need help to build up your team because of increasing your world level, you can also just play the previous level in domains for now, or just match up with a friend or random teammates, or you can lower your world level temporarily until you've leveled up your teams a bit.

While I haven't played in a long while, The rewards in events in early 3.0 were of the same level as that of 1.2 events, which means they are worth less and less the more one progresses through the game. Then there is other downsides like the fact that they outright said no endgame content. Immediately saying they were really never going to cater to those that really want new hard combat that is not HP sponge content.

For me, one of the reasons for burnout is the lack of QoL updates. I'm a completionist, I do true 100% exploration, but going through the entirety of 3.x WITHOUT an in-game underground map made me so frustrated and lost. Artifact loadouts is another thing. People want them, some need them, yet we still don't have them. Switching artifacts between characters is so tedious (to the point I just...don't. I farm for each character separately and keep their artifacts on them only). I also feel for the new players who want to get into the game, get entranced by a new flashy character, and now they have to spend god knows how many hours to unlock the materials for them (also could be solved by QoL update). I'm kinda over how they keep pushing some characters more than others. Why is it always Klee who goes on summer adventures? It just feels like there are "favourite" characters and other can't get a time to shine because of that. Another thing is how characters get blocked by quests. I remember nothing about Nilou's story quest because I was forced to do it in parts during the Archon quest. I'm also annoyed how the archon quests are starting to feel the same way - oh, we're getting arrested again and then have to save the nation, wow. Traveler is supposed to be powerful yet in game, they're one of the worst units. There are many more things I'd love to be added but I don't think it will happen. Catering to mobile and casual players is this game's downfall.

And I have to repeat the same ones 5/6 times each?! T_T I've always loved the atmosphere of those events but lately every time they announce one, I just feel pain. Also, I'd love for them to revamp the daily comms. I've been hanging on since 1.1 and doing those over and over again is doing some serious damage to the little fragments of love I still have for this game.

Another thing is that there is soooooo much things to get. There are so many little rewards that bot getting them feels like Im doing something wrong and makes me feel tire of having to complete them. Also, the dailies feel more like a chore than an actual quest that gives you rewards, they are not fun to do (quest, resin, domains)

The way to combat burn out on all the annoying festival content is to allow players to participate in them even when they have passed. I have too much stuff to do IRL and it feels like every time I want to sit down to play Genshin for story or to explore there is a limited time event that I absolutely HAVE to play. I don't want to play TCG, I don't like most of the mini-games, I don't want to play multi-player, but if I don't do the event I can't get the weapons and materials. That's before we get into hoyo's horrendous business model where it's possible to save primos and lose them all on some 5-star you don't want. They either need to cool it on the events or make it so people can participate in them whenever they pass. Also if they make a system where you can play an event later it will force them to experiment and diversify future updates/events, right now they can just keep spamming festival content. Right now it feels like I log in for commissions, do whatever event, forget I can't get the talent materials I need because I logged in on the wrong day and then I log off. I am at the beginning of Sumeru questline with lots still left in Inazuma and there is now a new area being released. It would be nice to actually play the game once in awhile. I don't really care about streamer burnout, these people get paid money to shill the game, they get donations to get all the characters and weapons and max them out, I literally could not care a single bit about how they feel there is nothing to do at the "endgame." Normal people are burned out on hoyo's business model and FOMO ruining just a normal play session.

@timestate9718 the thing is multi-player content on a gatcha is tricky because if it's combat it becomes a who was the biggest wallet showcase and even the events we have now like tcg or windtrace people find ways to win by not allowing their opponents to play like on the first windtrace and climbing to the top of dawn winery with a small character which was an auto win if the hunter wasn't a small character or running full shields and healer on tcg which only has one counter the game doesn't need extra modes to make other players rage the main game does that enough on its own already. The best thing I can think genshin could introduce is resinless raids or something like that to allow for more artifact or talent lvl farming on more challenging levels

Started in the second half of 2.5 and already feeling really burnt out. The game's world, characters, exploration, combat, and music were all a lot of fun, but the cracks start to show over time: - Building a character gets really grindy (fight exact same boss 10+ times, do the exact same talent domain 10+ times, farm materials [looking at you, specters...], etc) - weekly bosses stopped being fun and dailies started feeling like a chore. Other gachas (such as Blue Archive, Azur Lane, etc will often let you auto-clear the dailies/weeklies. Feels much more respectful of your time) - losing 50/50 to a character you don't want after months of work to save up your primos (where is my Radish Archon??? I did not want Tighnari...) - no "epitomized path" for the standard 5-star characters or weapons. Heard of people playing since launch that are still missing a standard 5-star... I only got my girl Jean due to dumb luck. Also getting a rate-up 4-star is entirely down to luck (took 95 pulls to get Layla, only to have her be free a few patches later) - artifact farming is absolute pain - almost no QoL improvements (gadget swap and quest "quick start" are about the only two I can think of since starting) Compare this to Star Rail or Snowbreak. Some of the long requested QoL fixes showed up in Star Rail too... - gatekeeping character materials behind regions, especially Inazuma. Sayu was one of the first characters I got, but she was benched for a long time because I was slow getting to the archon quests and could not level her past 20 - I have forever missed the temporary events before 2.7, such as the first GAA and will never get to play them... - painfully slow rerun times (took me well over a year to get my Ice Queen Eula) - Paimon will not shut up when fishing, and dialogue gets really repetitive (DID THAT TINGLE? DID THAT TINGLE? DID THAT TINGLE?) Unfortunately they will probably not focus much on improvements until they starting seeing serious pressure from a non-Hoyo game. Was hoping ToF would have done this, but we can see how that worked...

The funny thing about Perilous Trail is that the event itself was hastily built on top of the Archon quest, remember that was the patch after the eternal Ayaka banner because of health restrictions hindered Mihoyo from working. There's a small possibility this is why they remixed Golden Archipelago for that summer too. Which in my opinion was an amazing event because every island got unique mechanics. Certainly preferred it over "brand new" bottle resort event from this patch.

I want to say that I feel that the first half of the Sumeru cycle was very exciting. Not just the introduction of Dendro, but I feel that the major quests (particularly the Archon quests and the HangOut Quests) were massive improvements from what had occured. I think Hoyoverse has really stepped up their story telling (the archon quests in Inazuma I felt were quite lackluster, Sumeru's blew those out of the water). I agree that the second half seemed fairly monotonous. I strongly suspect that in the Sumeru cycle, alot of creative energy went towards Honkai Star Rail, both in the final months before it's release and then it's actual release. Honkai 3rd Impact I still consider to be fairly niche game, but Genshin Impact was Hoyoverse's major mainstream title. With Honkai Star Rail, I feel Hoyoverse for the last several months have put more focus into that game, leaving Genshin to suffer in terms of creativity. Many burned out Genshin Players were just going to Honkai Star Rail, Hoyoverse was still getting time and money. As we close in on Fontaine and 4.0, I do feeling that the swimming mechanic (which I feel is a massive update in the exploration part of Genshin) will help to revitalize the game and now that Honkai Star Rail is on solid footing, hopefully Hoyoverse will turn attention back to Genshin, and not just give us festival type events over and over. On the same token, if the big addition to Fontaine is exploration, I hope that when we get 5.0 (with Natlan) in 2024 we get some additions to combat, since what we know of that nation is that it is very war focused. A more robust end game would be very helpful and I hope Hoyoverse sees the light and implements something like that (a new ascension for characters to level 100 as Vars mentioned would make sense here). Looking forward to Fontane next week!

Leaving artifact farming to complete EXTREME luck was a mistake in terms of long term retention. If you could guarantee a max artifact in 2 weeks to a month, then you would actually have long time players that actually look different than new players besides. Or at least you'd be able to see a difference having played every day for a year. There always needs to be progression if you want players to stay engaged. It would also increase the motivation to try new characters once you could actually say you were "finished" with a character and look forward to maximizing another and so on.

One of the reasons im burnt out from genshin is that quests feel like a drag at times. I love combat and action in this game, but good god the unskippable dialogue kills my excitement. Sumeru hit the hardest with this, as every character (including NPCs) in a quest drones on at you whilst you spam the x button to try 'skip' the dialogue. That and the overwhelming amount of grinding for new characters. It puts me off wishing because i know that if i get the character, it will take a ridiculous amount of effort to get them playable. I dont mind a bit of a grind, but without fragile resin it would take a few weeks just to get enough exp books from ley lines. TDLR: Hoyo needs to condense dialogue (or gift us the magic skip button) and character grinding, in my opinion, needs to be turned down a notch.

Same, the main reason I feel so burned out is the fact that I can't skip boring dialogues... I don't mind events being repetitve because they are short and don't consume too much of my time. But god, for exemple this Summer Event was soooo long, like I have a really demanding job but at the same time, I love the game and fear to miss any reward so I have to force myself to play. Wish they could add replay cutscenes so I can enjoy them during my time off or holidays without having to rush...

There is no end game goal to achieve in Genshin as someone who played since the beginning. One issue I think is with so many characters there is nothing to use them on. Abyss you need at most 8 characters and most people don't even like abyss, other than that the other how ever many just doesn't get used. I basically stopped pulling for characters because what's the point with having so many characters but no where to use them. I pretty much slowed down to a crawl with my Genshin account, I rarely login even twice a week now.

Spectacular video once again, and a very important discussion to spark/progress. Personally, I think new systems would be fantastic, especially a way to optimize artifact rolls/drops or a different way to get them. If spiral abyss gave the artifact box for clearing a room/floor after every clear, that would make it notably more rewarding. Adding new/different reactions like the ones you mentioned in one of your most recent videos would also be huge. In terms of content, I love the combat mini games and event shops, but I find myself disappointed and often bored if the event doesn’t have those. The monotony of rewards is great in terms of reliability (oh, an event! I needed some xp/mora) but other than primos/crowns there’s not much exciting about the loot. Constellations would be stellar (pardon the expression), and that’s probably my favourite suggestion for that type of thing. In conclusion, great vid, great food for thought, hopefully something significant comes of it in game!

Great video, wanted to talk as a player from 1.0 how I feel, without repeating some obvious things like lack of endgame. the focus on lengthening the dialogue, using paimon as a forefront has gotten so bad I developed a habit of not reading in other games, something I used to love and had to correct it. Star rails writing is far superior not only because its actually funny, but short to the point. What is considered one of the best and my personal favorite character quests is yukong's, and its 90% or more dialogue. Meanwhile I can barely get through 1 minute of genshin dialogue. 1.5 and 1.6 brought something new to the table, and we the players had no idea that this would be recycled so it was not exactly a slow patch. With inizuma's slow patches, they were more spaced out, not 4 patches in a row and still had SOMETHING that we would consider important, like a fun weekly boss(sumeru's is so boring and uninteresting to fight) and the characters getting expanded and learning more felt fun. Dainsleif quest was long and was a great lore quest meanwhile in sumeru, while still interesting, last about 40 minutes and was the weakest easily. I have been doing dailies on and off for the last 2 patches, barely finishing the events on time and only using resin when I feel like it. I am hoping fontaine is at least as good as 3.0-3.3 because the story quests have been good so far, but if they end up doing what they are with sumeru, ill either skip patches or do dailies if I feel like\on a call etc etc.

And also this idea of characters visiting other nations is just hoyo’s excuse for smashing tgt all the rerun banner characters at once. I’m happy they at least didn’t stuff Wanderer into summer event. I understand that they want to incentivise players to pull by including character in an event, but this can get so annoying. P. S. FOMO is what burns me out. I keep having to login during times when I'd rather not for fear of losing out on resources, primogems etc so that when things that I would be interested in doing do come out, I've lost interest or simply can't spare the time. I've completed Veluriyam Mirage over the course of an entire week, liking the story but forcing myself to explore because it's time limited so I can't afford to skip the resources I can gather there, yet stuff like Nahida's second story quest which I'm sincerely interested in doing I haven't been able to because, since it's not time limited, I can push it off for more urgent stuff that I don't like as much but feel forced to do. So funnily enough their tactics meant to keep people playing and interested are backfiring and making me at least feel like the game is turning more into a job than anything else. The moment there's a tipping point and it feels more like an obligation than actually fun is the moment they lose me again. So at this point I login to do daily quests which are repetitive to an insane degree (I have read the script for some of these things so many times but I still can't skip over the dialogue), play in events that have scripts bloated to the point of dialogues being 3 times longer than they need to be in order to increase game time, and skip doing stuff that I may actually want to because there's only 24 hours in a day and I need to tend to other things as well. My guys, I have been jumping on mushrooms, tending that rose and getting that guy his supplies (you know the one, there's only like a hundred of them) for the past 8 months, please let me just say "I'M ON IT" and leave instead of having to go through the full dialogue for the 70th time! And make that damned rose bloom without a time skip! AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR A RETELLING OF MY PAST ADVENTURES AFTER I SKIP TO THE NEXT EVENING AND GO TO THE CAFE, I KNOW WHAT I DID, I WAS THERE! Recent banners were also weak. I only wanted Koko for the past 3 patches and due to not needing to roll on a single banner up to her, I got her, her weapon and tried to get Wanderer too, but lost to Mona so C5 Mona ftw, I guess. I now have enough Hydro users to drown every single person in Fontaine in a puddle of my sheer hatred for daily commissions.

I wish there was some kind of Raid Boss or something that gave you some god tier artifacts or weapons kinda like Destiny Mythic Weapons. Things that would take genuine effort or require actually using the coop feature to complete, but as time went on and i just kept ascending more and more characters to 90 for no real reason it became unbearable how pointless it was. having a character at 90 makes the game so incredibly easy and as someone who is not an explorer in anyway it made it so unfun to login everyday and just do commisions

For me, the turn off is how shallow the combat has gotten. Perhaps some of that is just that I've become so familiar true, but I do think a large part is how little effort they put into making new combat encounters feel meaningful. I remember fighting Tartaglia for the first time and getting bodied, and have never felt that sense of determination ever since because it seems the devs are too scared to make the main story "too difficult" for casuals. And when it comes to SA challenges, it's just damage sponge after damage sponge, and intentionally drawn out time wasters to give the illusion of difficulty cause I can't 9/9 star floor 12. Exploration also feels rather empty, it's just primogems and and a bunch of story quest locked areas.

What kills my motivation to play Genshin is mainly the chore of gathering materials to level/upgrade characters. As someone who droppped genshin around 2.2 with a maxed out world level and came back just recently, MY BROTHER IN HEAVEN IT TAKES FOREVER TO CATCH UP. The amount of materials needed to level a unit to max is insane and the rewards in events is a joke. Between unit levels, weapons, ascension materials, skill materials, I could be spending a whole month just working on one unit. Not to mention some of the materials are a pain in the butt to gather. I've just spent the last 3 patches leveling units for a second team and I can already tell you I dread pulling for ANY unit, no matter how much I want them , because it's going to take me months before I can realistically use them. I haven't done barely any exploration and I'm sitting on dozens of quests because by the time I finish the chores, I'm already fed up.

I really love Genshin’s lore, and I’m okay with going long periods of time in between getting those big lore Bomb quests. They’ve almost always been worth the wait for me. What bothers me the most about Genshin is the extremely boring and tedious festival mini games they always force us to play (typically over and over) to get rewards. It’s gotten to the point that I will just not play and forfeit the rewards in some cases. In addition, it’s really depressing to play HSR alongside Genshin and experience a lot of the quality of life things we’ve been begging for, for ages. I greatly prefer the fantasy, aesthetic, and combat system of Genshin, but HSR is undeniably a much better gaming experience by leaps and bounds. With significantly better written dialogue as well.

Like what I commented under Sevy's content, I think I had more tolerance than I would care to admit when it comes to being "burnt out" in games. See, that tolerance, and patience, only ran out last couple years ago when I finally retired with the Asian MMORPGs. I started playing back in 1999 (beta player, connection was dial-up), and have played since. I saw the landscape change until my effective retirement 2021, when I finally could not stand people, had a failed and abusive "online" partner, and when nostalgia was no longer a reason to stay playing something. I was a year late into Genshin because I took a year's worth rest from the burnout that came slow and traumatic when it hit. Genshin, strangely, was actually the game that breathed a new life to my outlook on games. The solo exploration was the biggest thing for me, the fact that I could actually just wander around without getting troubled by people. It felt like the greatest adventure. Add that to the gacha just being generous (17 wins). So I can safely say that, as of writing this, I'm yet to experience that same burnout as the one I have experienced previous. I may have a different answer if you ask me in a couple more years, because as of now, 444 days in playing and counting, I'm still just having a blast. Just recently got to out-of-bounds and that's another layer of thing I like doing. I will get tired at some point, I'm anticipating that and actually pacing very well to avoid it, but, like I had said in my comment over at Sevy's video, if I managed to be enthusiastic for a game from 1999 to 2021, in some very toxic, hostile and lit repetitive conditions, I suppose that it will also take a while here.

a huge improvement imo that they could add is more combat events. surely they have creative people who can think of ways to spice it up, like with the hyakun ikki (i think that was what its called?) event. have those events give a fragile resin or two at the end of the combat stuff. it's so simple and i cant think of any reason they wouldn't wanna do this, since it'd make people who enjoy the combat tune in more

after playing hsr (and enjoying it a lot) i just realized how much time it takes to do daily activities in genshin compered to this so now I'm barely doing dailies and my resin mostly cupped all the time bc spending it after your characters are fairly built feels more like a second job not a game. also daily commissions are very repetitive and take a lot of the time to finish so i dont even bother

Daily's are literally 10 minutes? (3 minutes if on a good PC) 🤨

1.0 player here. Last time i felt some kind of a hype was in 2.4 i believe (the mommy Beisht event), after that, i guess the Chasm was ok, and Sumeru gave me some hope (and i still find its trailer real good and impactful) and at the same time killed everything for me. Let me explain. I am a person who is not bothered by grinding (i was like that all my life, that's why my friends usually came to me with their saves and asked me to level up their characters in games for them), and i like exploring a lot. Also action games were a bit new to me (i grew up playing old jrpgs after all) but i was open for smth new, so i was ok with starting Genshin. It took some time to understand how the game worked and though i never was invested in minmaxing and stuff, i still learned a lot and i think i know more than average player would. So playing this game for first two years never felt like a chore (even if i played multiple accounts). But after 2.4 i gradually started to lose hype. At some point it happened in 2.8, the infamous Golden Apple Archipelago. I really enjoyed this small event in 1.6, and i was really looking forward to return to it again. And... I was disappointed. It was suffocating to say the least. I started to have my doubts about Sumeru, but the trailer turned out to be good, and the first few hours of exploration was ok. The story was also an improvement in comparison to the Inazuma, so i was satisfied. Then the desert came. And everything went down the hill. Exploration was insufferable, the events were for most part just boring. A festival after festival, it felt like filler patch after filler. The abyss became too dendro focused and even more than before started to advertise characters to buy. Since 3.2 and until 3.7-3.8 i couldn't bring into abyss my favorite geo teams because the abyss was not in favor for non-reactional teams. It was killing me. The game forced me to raise some dendro units and it felt bad. No one likes when smth is forced upon them, right? Since 3.0 i felt like i was in cage. The exploration wasn't fun: i'm not a stupid person, but these puzzles were so unintuitive, that i just can't. The abyss was annoying. There's no major plot updates, only fillers. And for the first time in three years of playing i wanted to quit the game. Which i did. Kind of. I took some vacation, i decided not to bother with bp anymore, now i log in only once or twice a week, and just do these boring events, spent some resin, and talk and play with some of my ingame friends. I still like this game, because every time i log in i still enjoy the combat and coop domains. But after doing daylies i feel burned out quickly and don't have strength to do the exploration or quests. I don't know what to do. Because i'm welkin only player (and i don't buy it often btw) i can't just whale and get my c6 Itto and other c6 geo characters, and call it a day. I need to save for every rerun. And with Navia coming i guess i'd have fun playing again, but for how long, i can't tell.
