@@brentgambrell I love Star Trek Discovery, but it is still in the Trek universe that seems a bit candy-coated to be believable. BSG is gritty and hard-hitting.

For All Mankind is easily better. Same showrunner, but you can tell he improved a lot in the decades since BSG. Not that BSG isn't amazing, but FAM is even better

The final five made sure that the ftl drives would be as exposed as possible 😂 both the hub and the resurrection ships were easily disabled from jumping away
@jamesxiaolong21996 ай бұрын
Keep in mind Galactica and Valkyrie’s FTLs were exposed and Pegasus’s got depressurized during a fight. I think they have to be exposed partially.
@moteroargentino79444 ай бұрын
@jamesxiaolong2199 As far as I know only the Valkyrie had a semi exposed FTL drive, due to her focus as a compact, well armed and cost effective ship, which left her with very limited internal space. Galactica and Pegasus didn't. In their case it could be disabled through sheer damage or sabotage but it wasn't exposed.
@jamesxiaolong21994 ай бұрын
@@moteroargentino7944 Pegasus’s FTL drives were close enough to pressure hull to be depressurizated, and Galactica’s is a series of tubes near the nacelles. This is seen when Tyrol disabled Galactica’s FTL plant during the mutiny.
@moteroargentino79444 ай бұрын
@jamesxiaolong2199 Correct, but in both cases while they might be close to the outer hull, they're not directly outside like in Valkyrie's case, where half of the drive is clearly visible on it's ventral side.
