Honestly I think you could retool the team around Steph, the dude isn’t human his game hasn’t slowed down he’s killing it, the way he plays he can continue to be elite through upwards of possibly 40. Maybe signing players would be the way to go this year? Kuminga has potential but isn’t ready to step up to that second scorer on a contender. Super excited to see this series!

The Warriors absolutely ARE a rebuiling team, no one expects them to miss the Postseason but they also are not a team which should be expected to win a championship this year or next year either given their roster.

A rematch with Sacramento would be cool to see this season as they have battled in the post-season the past two years and the whole I-80 rivalry. I think the Nets have some good players you can trade for by dumping salary like Wiggins and a pick in exchange for someone like Claxton, Cam Johnson or DFS. They got played who better off on a team in your position than a rebuild like they’re currently on.

I think keeping Steph and having him retire as a Warrior would be the preferable plan, but if this Warriors team is sinking toward the bottom, I could see Steph wanting out and the Warriors sending him to a contender for a decent haul, maybe some good role players/depth or even a + starter and draft capital.

please whatever you do, do not trade Steph. i’m a dubs fan and I have been my whole life and watching Steph go from the kid he was to the man and legend he is now has been absolute magic and because of how rare it is that someone stays with one team their entire career, especially a player of this calibre, you just can’t trade him. while he’s still in the league you gotta focus everything around him and developing the young guys and trading for big names is a great way to go about it, even if this first year turns out to be a bust. maybe the dubs sign a big name free agent in this upcoming free agency at the end of this season…

You NEED to trade Draymond. You do these realistically, and I know that realistically, Golden State would never trade Draymond, but.. he needs to go. He’s a basket case, his temper is uncontrollable, and he single handedly destroyed two potential dynasty eras while STILL being the sole reason they have 4 chips instead of 5. He’s gotta go 😂
