1:42 Ceylon Jungle fowl, they don't lay 250 eggs in wild their clutch size is 8-10 eggs 3 clutches mostly. If pure breed, they have no issue with colder weather.

Sorry buddy but true pure jungle fowl dont lay anywhere close to 250 eggs a year your confusing them with something else. Way less id say 40 to 80 eggs a year depending on how pure red jungle fowl they are could even be less then that potentially depending on location and weather were they are raised

Red jungle fowl are not chickens. They are a different species that can hybridize with chickens.

Im looking to get some chickens that i can turn loose on my 3 acres and let them go about their lives with just very little feed to keep them within my property build a nesting coupe so i can gather a few eggs a week and when the population is decent enough harvest a few a month.. I want to make chickens great again..😂😂 Bring them back to a natural bird and not a pet. Maybe see if Rhode Island Reds might be able to answer the call of the wild... I digress.
