so just to be clear, this was Splat being as unobservant as usual he started with 2 food, he killed the deer and it brought him to 5 food so the deer gave +3 food, wherease the grouse only gave +1. so the Deer did give MORE food, he just didn't realize it.

Splat, you crack me up, bro. "I can't say no to dogs, I want them all!" - rejects the very next dog. Hello! I found this as a random recommended video. I'm from Alaska and I have to say I really like the mechanic of this game that starts with someone who is way too naive about how living in the picturesque wilderness really works, it doesn't mean living easily and simply, and it certainly doesn't mean you'll magically end up a zen monk who has found fulfillment and the secret of life. If anything you'll just go nuts and develop some kind of psychosis or delusion of grandeur at the very least. Even the ancestors of my culture knew no man is and island and those who didn't participate for the common good and chose to live on their own weren't the ones seen as "bold" or "brave", they were considered foolish and full of hubris. Knowing that I really enjoy how this character is learning to temper her expectations against reality over time, plus the cute dogs are great too. In one of the old belief systems of the particular area I live in dogs have their own third realm separate from the natural world and the spirit world, they quite literally live in "dog world" and exist in multiple dimensions. How cool is that?!

Each experience you find something or learn something new that you bring. I won with the doggies booties, trap, flint, axe as extra items and with Starting 4 food 5 bulls 2 wood but flint makes birch obsolete. I think I choose a great team with Chomper, Stilton, Barkley, Finn, and Noodle really love how Barkley will protect you at risk of himself and how smart Stilton is and finds the best spots to place trap and find things in general, noodle has good instinct and you should follow them and Finn she did not find much besides a skunk lol but I am sure her ability will be useful at some point.

In the Winter time we rapscallions would tie up some sleds and head off into the forest to camp. Those where really fun times. Haw and Gee are definitely a thing. Another thing to say further into the video. A Wolf would attack solo like that.. Then Just run away. It would see its outnumbered by your dogs and Flee. *UNLESS* you somehow stumble upon the wolves "den", then it will 100% attack no matter how many dogs you have. It would be protecting their pups. I cant get behind the movies like " Grey " where it villifys wolves like it does. Wolves are intelligent animals.
